Chapter 300: Some Fun Before We Kill!
"It looks the same ol ol from the next line of hybrid monsters. But what is this 'Secondary Lifeform' thing all about?"
He looked up at the Stingcoil before using his Discerning Quantum Eye; however, even after a few seconds of scanning, he couldn't find whatever the original scan was talking about.
"Maybe just a glitch?"
There are no glitches in the Discerning Quantum Eye, Azmond-
Boundless tried to get out what she wanted to say, but before she could
WAAA!
An immense aura well into the Peak Unity Form Synthesis Realm exploded outward from above the Stingcoil!
All the passersby didn't even know what was happening, as before they knew it, a Stingcoil had left their usual hunting grounds and made its way above their city.
And they thought that was the weirdest thing about their situation. But they were quickly proven wrong with the abrupt eruption of energy that came from on top of the Stingcoil!
Or rather, two separate energy signatures...
...
"We found you!"
Two voices shouted out in unison as a couple unknown figures flashed off the Stingcoil's back before appearing in the streets below.
FWIP!
They moved over to a silver fox-kins approximate position before stopping a few meters away from him.
"..."
Azmond saw two girls with long blue hair and light blue eyes staring directly at him.
"Hmm?"
He looked left, right, and behind him to see if there was maybe someone else they were talking to, but everyone else had already fled.
"Are you talking to me?"
He had already turned his head back in their direction before he raised an eyebrow.
The two women in maid outfits looked at each other for a second before they turned their shining eyes in his direction.
"Yes, we're talking to you!" The shorter one exclaimed.
Azmond, upon getting his confirmation, only had one thing he wanted to ask them:
"Why?"
He didn't recall ever meeting two 'well-rounded', beautiful women in maid outfits.
Were they some sort of scammers or something??
'They won't get my money'
His eyes darkened at such a thought as he would never be willing to part with his gold coins!
They were his!
"..." "..."
Azure and Sapphire saw the look on their target's face and couldn't help but think that a misunderstanding had already been made between the three of them.
"We are not criminals, you know?" Sapphire said, her eyes producing a confused glow.
"Yeah, yeah! We are the furthest things from criminals!" Azure said while displaying a demeanor more outgoing than her counterpart.
"So you're not here to rob me-?"
Azmond tried to get out his question, but a sudden glare from a certain effervescent beauty interrupted him.
Azmond, who are these cows!? They clearly know you from somewhere, so why weren't they in your memories!?
Boundless started to berate him with every accusation she could throw at him.
And in response, she received, "Never met them before."
Azmond's expression was as neutral as possible while explaining himself, but on the inside, he was sweating buckets.
Not because of the ravings of Boundless, but because of...
"Another woman?" Calista mumbled with watery eyes.
'Why is there another woman around Azmond?? Is Calista not good enough for him?'
Her glistening grays started to tear up as the waterworks were about to start again.
But Azmond acted fast as he appeared next to the sniffling catkin girl and swooped her into his arms before petting her.
Calista's tail twirled around a little as she felt the warm pets, but she still didn't like the two new women, so she gave them an 'evil' stare.
"Uhmm, excuse me? We haven't introduced ourselves yet," Sapphire interjected, completely ignoring the 'malevolent' looks of the catkin.
Azure wanted to do her part as well, so she put her hands on her sensual hips before she said, "Hoho! You guys dare to interrupt us!? I will have you know that-"
"Be quiet, Azure. We need to be serious."
Sapphire whacked her sister across the head before returning her attention back to their target, otherwise known as 'My Husband'.
"So, My Husband, we regret to inform you that you will be dying today."
Her voice came out in a blunt way as she stared emotionlessly at the silver foxkin.
"Hmm?"
Azmond wasn't following what the tall, blue haired girl was saying.
Why did she say he was going to die??
'Wait Are they loony bins? That would explain why they rode on top of a Stingcoil before landing in front of us, and in the middle of a city to boot. The poor things.'
His gaze morphed into a sympathetic one as he felt bad about previously assuming that they were thieves.
"I think he's thinking weird things again, Sapphire"
Azure looked toward her sister with a knowing gaze.
"That would appear to be the case. But it is no matter," Sapphire responded, her tongue licking her lips.
"He is quite the handsome one, so we can have a little fun with him before we ultimately have to kill him," she added with a glance over of his body.
"Mhmkay!"
Meanwhile, as the two of them were discussing the fate of Azmond, the man in question was in quite the predicament even without their 'assistance'.
You said you didn't know them, you lair!
Boundless puffed up her cheeks before lightly punching him in the arm.
"I really don't know them though," he replied with a helpless tone.
|Liar, liar!| She began.
They called you their 'Husband'! And based on my knowledge of drama's, I can infer that they have come here seeking vengeance after being abandoned by you!
She told him the 'truth' of the matter as the aggrieved look on her face only got worse.
And here I thought that you were a kind man! But in reality, Y-You're a scumbag!
"???"
It's official; Azmond was utterly lost.
He had absolutely no clue what the hell was going on anymore!
There was a moapy cat girl on one hand, a disgruntled housewife on another, and two unknown women calling him their 'husband' on the last hand!
He didn't have enough hands to juggle all his problems at once!
