The City of Avendale was over one thousand miles in diameter, but even then, not even all of its territory and the surrounding territories could compare with the size of just the head of the beast drooling over it.

None of the common folk could even understand what type of beast it was, as the only thing they could see was a dark bottomless pit in the middle of something that appeared to be a mouth

And around that 'mouth', there were an uncountable number of town-sized scales that encased the beast like a divine suit of armor.

However, the stronger and more powerful cultivators in Avendale could immediately tell what sort of monster it was. And to be frank, it came as no surprise to any of them when its race was revealed by a lone Void Refining Realm Gatorkin.

"A Gold-Ranked Dragon... We're so fucked."

With his divine sense, the Void-Refining Realm Gatorkin stared mouth-agape at the humongous dragon.

And it didn't take long before despair started to overtake his countenance.

He, along with everybody else who knew what a Gold-Ranked Dragon meant, started to mourn their fates, for they knew they had no chance of escaping the voracious gaze of a dragon at such a high level.

However, just as everyone was about to start freaking out before commencing a repeat of what happened in the 'Whaliceros Enclosure', a tall, handsome silver foxkin leaped up into the aircausing cracks to spread throughout all of Avendalebefore his stalwart figure expanded to a size around a hundreth that of the Gold-Ranked Dragon.

"This 'Gargantuan Law' is quite useful," Azmond muttered, his fierce gaze locking onto the dragon.

The sinuous face of the dragon noticed the existence of a slightly larger ant as it turned its head down to eye length with the ant.

And just as it was about to roar a loud bellow to assert its dominance over Azmond, the ant spoke first:

"You really thought you could interrupt my time with Emu and my girls?"

Azmond's voice came out in an apathetic tone as he stared up at the majestic figure gazing down at him.

Following such an unanswerable question, he said, "I don't have the time to play with you right now, but the least I could do for you is give you a quick death."

That was all the 'words' that were traded between the two of them before a wide crackling arc of lightning and fire energies came out of the giant katana in his hand.

"Just become my exp already," he added with a neutral tone.

While waiting for the inevitable death of the Gold Dragon, he gazed at its status screen.

Azmond was a little disappointed that he couldn't profit off some magnificent gold blood, but it's no matter, as he still had the system notifications to soothe his yearning for more loot.
