Chapter 728 Lee Seng And Lily

Between physical therapy, Lee Seng spent a lot of time with at least one of his friends. They rotated who watched over him and kept him company. Lee Seng learned his friends were well integrated into Revit\'s society. They worked for the "guild" in Revit and sometimes would all disappear to another part of Daros.

Today, Lee Seng spent the snowy day with Lily. Team Zephyr had to leave for one of their rare team missions.

"It\'s very rare they go to Earth or any other Realm." Lily told Lee Seng as they walked the snowy market streets. Lee Seng had heard from one of the Druids that there was a delicious soup place in the market and suggested he try it since he could walk longer now. Lily had agreed to take him as she wanted some Meatballs.

"Where did they go this time?" Lee Seng asked. "Another curse somewhere?"

"No." Lily shook her head. "It\'s been a long-time deal with the Merfolks. Y\'see, they\'re plagued with some sort of strange anomaly. It\'s like a curse but isn\'t. Keng\'s been helping them try to find this item with one of the Merfolk leaders."

"Calis?"

"Mmmhm." Lily pointed at Lee Seng. They turned right and entered the tent. It was warm and free from snow. The owner greeted them as they took a seat off to the side. "Hey, nice to see you again. Could we get two orders of vegetable soup and some meatballs?"

"Comin\' right up, dear." The Fox Spirit lady smiled. Lily turned back to Lee Seng and rubbed her hands together.

"They still haven\'t been able to find the cup? Where could it be?" Lee Seng asked.

"They\'ve been looking at the scabbard. With enough energy from Keng, it shows a map of where it is. Apparently, it vanished from Earth a couple months ago. They\'ve been consulting the Seers for clues."

"Have they found something? They wouldn\'t bring everyone unless they did, right?" Lee Seng tapped his cheek as he kept his head propped up.

"Not sure. Calis came over and told everyone they were needed. Maybe the Seers found something?"

"Here\'s your food, dears. Enjoy. Let me know if you need anything else." The restaurant owner smiled, handing off the food. The two gave thanks to the owner and turned their attention back onto their conversation.

"Maybe. I hope I get cleared to do some actual work soon. I\'ve been itching to do something." Lee Seng grabbed a meatball on a stick and took a bite of it. The flavors melted in his mouth as he tried to fight off the heat by scarfing it down. "Hot." Lily chuckled and took a sip of the soup.

"Mmm! It is good!" Lily exclaimed. "Try it!" Lee Seng nodded, setting the single bite meatball down and taking a spoonful of soup liquid and blowing on it. He took a bite and instantly his eyebrows raised.

"Wow. The meat and the soup work well together." Lee Seng nodded in approval.

"You don\'t count training Fae one of those tasks?" Lily continued their conversation.

"I haven\'t really been able to even teach her anything. She\'s just been cleaning and doing energy training. She said you already taught her the basics, so I feel bad I haven\'t been able to show her anything \'Savior\' worthy." Lee Seng\'s lips pouted before he licked his lips and continued to eat. "Fae is a great student, but I feel like I\'m teaching someone who\'s slightly younger than me. She picks things up fast and I want to spar with her to teach her some things, but I can\'t."

"You\'ve been getting her acquainted with curses, no?" Lily asked. Lee Seng nodded. "Our job is that. You should know why we exist."

"Yeah, yeah, I know, rightie." Lee Seng rolled his eyes. "I just want her to be able to use her powers with Savior magic." Lee Seng had come to realize during his first month of being \'awake,\' that Savior magic was his Light magic. It was given to those in the Savior sect, but Lee Seng, Keng and Lily\'s Savior magic acted differently from Fae and River – the two students who Lily found during her journey around the Merfolk village.

Lily had found Fae in the jungles. She was drawn to some sort of Light that led her to Fae. River, on the other hand, was a Water Elf and Fox Spirit hybrid. He was fishing and glowed in the distance. It was hard for Lily to get them to join, but with word that Keng was back, she travelled back home in hopes to find Keng. Keng had \'secured\' River and Fae to join with a promise of correcting the Curses of the world with their gifts. Lee Seng still couldn\'t believe that\'s what Keng said.

After Lee Seng had awakened, River was introduced to him. He was a light blue skinned Fox Spirit who spent most of his time in the library. He did nothing but read the Savior books. He\'d finish a large pile and then ask to go back to the Temple for more. Keng would run back and forth and as a result, Lily found it hard to train River. River was such a bookworm that he neglected the other half of his training – doing it.

Lily paid for the food and the two thanked the owner before leaving. The two moved back down the path they had come. Revit was much larger now – not that Lee Seng could recall, but that\'s what he was told, constantly. Revit had quickly become another human and Fox spirit melting pot zone.

"What now?" Lily asked. "You still feel like walking around?" She looked at Lee Seng to check on him. He didn\'t seem too tired. That was a great sign. Lee Seng poked his cheeks up and thought for a moment. There were many things to do in Revit – many that involved walking to a place, but Lee Seng couldn\'t think of anything he wanted to do right now.

"Where\'s River and Fae?" Lee Seng asked.

"Probably in the library." Lily answered. "Why? It\'s study time for them."

"Are they gonna be there the rest of the night?"

"They honestly shouldn\'t be there anymore. River will most likely stay there until it\'s pitch black. Fae will probably meet with her friends she made before going home. Why? Wanna see the students?" Lily looked at him. Lee Seng shook his head. He didn\'t want to see them now. He was itching to move his legs around.

"Good." Lee Seng smiled. "You\'re not busy since you\'re with me, right?" Lily nodded. A bigger smile grew on Lee Seng\'s face. "Let\'s go for a run!" Lee Seng went into a jog, smiling as he waved for Lily to follow him.

"Ah!" Lily picked up speed to follow Lee Seng. "Are you sure this is a good idea?"

"It\'s fine!"

"What if you—"

"It\'s fine! Keep up slowpoke!" Lee Seng moved through the crowd, kicking it into a full run. Lee Seng turned left into one of the alleyways and looked up as he exited the alleyway within seconds. Lee Seng turned left onto the road and followed it. An exit appeared in sight and he made a beeline for it.

"Lee Seng! I think you should take it slow!" Lily telepathically told him. Lee Seng ignored her as he neared the exit. Guards focused on Lee Seng as he ran straight towards them.

"Is that the Leader of the Saviors?" A guard asked.

"I think so. Why is he running?" The second guard wondered.

"Yo!" Lee Seng waved before sprinting past them.

"Ahhh! Lee Seng! You shouldn\'t go out! It\'s dangerous! You haven\'t—" Lily began to say as she sprinted past the guards.

"It\'s fine!" Lee Seng laughed. He lowered himself towards the ground and put his arms behind him. Lee Seng pushed himself up and leapt. Gravity exploded out of his feet, flinging him into the air.

"L-Lee!" Lilly came to a stop and watched as Lee Seng sailed through the air. Lee Seng giggled like a kid. He was fine. He was—

A strange feeling washed over him. As Lee Seng turned his head right, Lily felt it too. There was something wrong. Something dark was coming their way.
