Chapter 386 Identity
The first to react to Bruce's words were Carla and Bella.
The former knew that Arthur was a Reincarnator, but not from those Dimensions.
She already knew enough about those Dimensions because Arthur had told her.
Plus, he was an earthling to begin with.
However, Bella thought differently, she looked at Arthur suspiciously.
She hadn't heard of the concept of reincarnation before, so she didn't know anything, but now she did.
She couldn't help but wonder if Arthur was a reincarnator who came from those Dimensions because he was indeed a man who had changed a lot suddenly.
It actually made her a little uncomfortable because the one she loved was the real Arthur. She was less comfortable if he merged with a certain unknown figure.
Arthur didn't change his expression, he was still quite calm, and even smiled slightly.
"Do you have a method to figure it out? If there is, we can use that," he asked Bruce.
This kind of thing is not something that can be explained with words. It won't work because there will always be suspicion.
Arthur didn't want to bother explaining either. Therefore, it was better to use a certain method, if it also really existed. If it didn't exist, things might become difficult.
Bella looked at Bruce after hearing Arthur's words. She agreed with his suggestion because she too could only be convinced by it.
Of course, the fact that Arthur suggested it made her more convinced of him.
This meant that he was not afraid at all.
"There is always a difference between those created on earth and those Independent Dimensions. That's what we've concluded after constant battles with them. Even people who come to earth by reincarnating still have that difference," Bruce said.
Hearing that, Arthur couldn't help but be interested.
If there really was such a thing, he thought he needed to know about it so that if he accidentally met someone from those Independent Dimensions, he could know about it.
He asked, "then were you able to discover that difference from me? How did you guys tell the difference?"
"Just by instinct," Bruce replied, slightly confusing Arthur.
"We have very keen senses, and we can tell the ones who are connected to the ones who have killed us the most," he explained.
"Oh..." Arthur showed a strange look.
He wasn't sure if the Werewolf-like races in the Sky World also had such abilities. He had never asked and they had never publicized it either. Perhaps to those who lived there it was a secret.
"How about you show me your magic?" Bruce asked.
Since it was not something difficult, Arthur casually created a small fireball on top of his index finger.
Bruce's eyes looked at the fireball seriously.
However, he only stared at the fireball for a moment. He then looked into Arthur's eyes.
"What's the result?" Arthur asked with a faint smile.
He had never killed a Werewolf, and he thought none of the people connected to him had ever done so, so the results should be normal.
"Nothing, I don't feel anything from your magic other than that it's very deep and mysterious. Yes, it's the most mysterious magic I've ever felt," Bruce replied.
Arthur smiled at that. He replied, "now you won't try to find out about my magic, will you?"
"Of course, no. We werewolves aren't that type. Plus, we already have our own path, so we're not interested in other people's magic no matter how good it is."
"That's good, however, someone who is too curious about other people's is hard to make friends, easier to make enemies." Arthur laughed.
"By the way, who is the Reincarnator?" He then changed the topic.
At the same time, Bella seemed to let out a sigh of relief. Perhaps it calmed her down that Arthur was proven not to be the Reincarnator of those Independent Dimensions.
And she didn't think anything else because she didn't know that there was another world besides those Dimensions.
"The current crown prince of the British Kingdom. He rarely appears, but he has spread magic to the main members of the royal family including the Queen," Bruce replied, not hiding about it anymore.
Upon hearing that, Arthur's eyes showed an understanding expression.
"No wonder," he said.
"It seems that you already know some?"
"Yeah, I know the rise of the Kingdom. They're very aggressive in building up power. Even targeting rich people to take over their wealth."
"This is indeed a serious problem, which is why we need to take action. Their development needs to be stopped or no one can stop them. If that's the case, it's only a matter of time before the earth is overrun by them.
"And to stop them, we also need to build power. Money is one that we desperately need."
"What exactly is money for?" Bella suddenly asked.
Although she understood that everything needed money, a woman from a business family like her still wanted to know the details.
Bruce looked at Bella and explained, "We Werewolves control wolves as an army. To increase our strength, we need to increase our wolves. And we don't have the time to gather wolves. Therefore, we will pay the hunters. That requires a lot of money because one wolf is very expensive in this era. And we also need to train the wolves. That's just one example, there are many other things that require money, like paying people like Brenton to work for us."
"So complicated," Bella said after hearing Bruce's explanation.
"Then how much money do you need?" she asked again.
"There's no exact count, the more the better of course," Bruce replied. "And we Werewolves aren't the kind of creatures who like excessive luxury, so you don't have to worry about giving us money because all the money will definitely be used for this business."
He gave an additional explanation because he didn't seem to want to be perceived as corrupt.
That he did not have an exact count only proved that this clan really did not have good financial management.
"Give me the account number you use to keep your money," Arthur said afterwards.
At this moment, he suddenly felt sorry for this clan and so wanted to help them in a completely voluntary way.
Hearing his words, Bruce's face, which had always looked serious, immediately looked excited. He took out his cell phone from his clothes pocket, punched it a few times before showing it to Arthur.
The latter took out his cell phone and wrote down his account number.
After that, he sent it to Rebecca, asking her to send 500 Million Dollars to him.
He deliberately sent a lot so that this clan would take his services seriously.
And he didn't feel awkward asking Rebecca for it because she was a subordinate that he subdued.
She was probably almost like a slave even though he treated her quite well.
Even so, he still explained to her what the money was for.
He told her about the Werewolves and the problems that the earth was currently experiencing.
Rebecca apparently answered his message very quickly: (Honey, you turned out to be very good, trying to protect humans secretly. I will naturally support your kindness.)
Her message was accompanied by a picture of her at this moment. She was in a meeting room where behind her was the Eiffel Tower, indicating that she was still in Paris. She is wearing formal clothes with her hair in a neat bun, probably meeting with the top brass of European Banks.
That is indeed what she is doing.
In fact, her smile as she replied to Arthur's message was enough to surprise the more than twenty people at the meeting.
They had not seen Rebecca smile so brightly, only the occasional faint smile that was barely noticeable, but now she actually showed a smile that seemed like she was in love.
This was hard to believe considering her status and identity and age.
Out of curiosity, one of them finally asked, "Mrs. Rebecca, don't tell me you've met a man you're in love with?"
The person who asked was a white-haired old man, looking so elite that it took a deep aura not to look like a commoner when around him.
He was Adam, the current Director of the European Bank.
Although the European Bank has less influence compared to the Fed, it is also something that can shake the world.
In fact, he is the equivalent of ministers who lead strategic ministries.
Rebecca looked at him after hearing his words.
Surprisingly enough, she laughed softly.
"You can actually guess with just one look, is it because of your many romantic experiences when you were young, Mr. Adam?" she said.
Of course, for a woman like her, she would not be awkward or embarrassed just talking about romance.
Her confirmation was certainly surprising since it had been a long time since she had chosen to be alone. And they knew enough that she was not a woman who would play around with men just for fun. She is truly a pure single lady.
Adam looked into her eyes and replied, "congratulations Mrs. Rebecca, it looks like we'll be seeing your smile more often, which will definitely make the businessmen happy. Perhaps this is a sign that the world is about to enter a new era of prosperity, hehehe."
"Maybe," Rebecca replied because she thought so too. After all, Arthur could indeed lead the world into a new, more prosperous era.
"If I may know, what kind of man would you be attracted to, Mrs. Rebecca? I honestly can't think of a man who would be able to conquer you. Given that you are so beautiful, you must only be attracted to really handsome men, right?" Adam became even more curious so he tried to find out.
"Unfortunately I can't tell anyone about that," Rebecca replied very casually.
She was still rational about not spreading nonsense that could upset Arthur.
