Chapter 255 First Customor
"I… I don\'t know what to say." She muttered with tears gathering in her eyes.
"Say thank you," Gus replied.
A light smile then appeared on the woman\'s face, she wiped the tears at the corner of her eyes, "Thank you."
"I will be forever indebted to you. If there\'s ever something you need I won\'t hesitate to help you." She said in a serious voice.
"Good! Though there\'s really nothing you can do for me at the moment, I\'m sure we will figure something out in the future." Gus commented.
"You can go in, Raphael will attend to you."
She took a deep breath after Gus spoke, and with a stern look on her face, she walked into the building.
As the beasts and humans outside of the building saw the woman walking into the building, they stood frozen, their jaw slack and a stupefied look on their faces.
"I was right, why would he invite us here to kill us."
It was the man from earlier that spoke.
"We can\'t be sure yet. What if she doesn\'t come out of the building? This is Raphael we are talking about, he is capable of doing anything." Someone said.
The man frowned upon hearing that reply, however, he didn\'t move from where he was. As much as he wanted to go into the building, he still wanted to be sure the woman would come out eventually.
"There\'s no rush! Once she appears out of the building, we do a little bit of findings from her and when we confirm that there\'s nothing skeptical going on about her, we rush to the building. Simple!"
An hour passed by quickly yet neither the humans nor the meta beasts outside of the building took a step closer. The front of the building became more crowded, and everyone\'s eyes were glued to the building.
It had been two hours since the woman went inside the building, and she still hadn\'t stepped out of the building. It caused the beasts and humans in the surroundings to develop a wary feeling about the situation they were in.
And even though they could leave before the situation took a turn, they somehow hoped within that Raphael didn\'t call them here to kill them, and instead he really intended to offer fifty gadgets to humans and beasts.
"Is there anything we were not told? Isn\'t it just to take a gadget inside the building and come out, what is taking that woman so long."
"She might have died."
As time passed by, gradually the beasts and humans arrived at different theories on what could have happened to the woman. They continued to speak to themselves, and it became difficult to believe that they were foes.
"Someone is coming…."
The area settled immediately, with everyone moving their gaze to the building. It took only a few seconds, and their eyes widened as they saw the figure that stepped outside the building.
A woman with black cascading hair down her back loose in waves. She had brown eyes, framed by thick lashes and an hourglass figure with curves in all the right places, and a narrow waist that accentuated her feminine shape.
"What the hell!!"
"I must be dreaming, how can this be possible? Someone, please wake me up from this dream."
The male student had only just spoken when he received a resounding slap on his face. He stood frozen with disbelief written all over his face. "This is really not a dream." He muttered, turning towards the person who had just slapped him.
The woman went into the building in a disoriented state, but in merely two hours she transformed to the extent that supposedly they hadn\'t seen her step into the building, they wouldn\'t have believed she was the same person.
Her body which was covered in blood and scars was spotless and the new set of clothes she wore hugged her body tightly. Overall, she looked flawless.
"Was a spa really necessary, Raphael," Gus said as it seized the woman from head to toe.
A smile was quick to form on the woman\'s face when she heard Gus. "This won\'t have been possible without you, Gus. Thank you very much." She said.
"It\'s alright." Gus smiled.
"Now that your injuries are gone, and you\'ve recovered, are you still going to pursue that person?" Gus asked.
There was an immediate nod from the woman after Gus spoke. She didn\'t have to think too much about it, and her answer was yes right away.
"You must think that I\'m crazy, but even if it\'s the last thing I\'m going to do in this world, I will not allow him to live after what he has done.". She said with a grim look on her face.
As she then remembered the torture and experience that person put her through, killing intent oozed out of her body. Sensing the killing intent that excluded out of her body, Gus couldn\'t help but nod his head.
"Very good. You didn\'t disappoint me." Gus said. "If you somehow survive through this, and you need somewhere to stay, you\'re always welcome here."
The woman\'s mouth opened slightly and a stunned expression appeared on her. She hadn\'t been expecting Gus\'s offer and even though it was said loud and clear, and she still found it unbelievable.
"I… I… I don\'t know what to say." She said in a trembling voice.
Gus shrugged, it was about to speak when the woman suddenly went on her knees.
"Thank you very much."
Gus watched as the woman shed tears while she spoke, and then shook her head. "There\'s no reason for you to cry. I said I was going to help if you manage to live after the revenge you want to embark on."
"If I\'m being honest, I don\'t think you will survive, I just said that to give you something to look forward to," Gus added.
"Thank you." The woman muttered.
She lifted herself from the ground, and after staring at Gus closely for a few seconds, she turned around. There was resolve in her eyes, and the will to live which had once disappeared surfaced. It only lasted briefly before it vanished.
As the figure of the woman was no longer in sight, the hairs on Gus\'s body suddenly stood on its end. Gus sensed danger, and as it moved its gaze to where the ominous feeling came from, its eyes twitched.
Before Gus were hundreds of beasts and humans rushing towards the building. Now that they had confirmed that Raphael wasn\'t bluffing, and he didn\'t intend to harm them, they were no need to fear.
"Fools! It took you this long to realize." Gus sneered.
