Chapter 45 Rules Of Paradise

"My vision is to create a cultured paradise on Earth." Leon said to the women before him, "The city will thus be called Harem City, and [haremite] will replace the term citizen. So be aware of your future home if you accept my aid."

Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding!

Any woman who followed LeonTraxxx was stunned by the flurry of gifts he received, especially the five who thought Lindy was the source of his fame.

Their confusion prevented them from fearing his intentions, and he capitalized on that.

"For those who have followed me on the Forbidden Library, you'll notice the insane response I'm getting." Leon remarked.

"That's because I represent a harem god, and I'm currently espousing their cultured virtues.

If I represented a sex god, I wouldn't have gotten such a reaction. That's because sex is a common development in harem culture, but it's neither a virtue nor an expectation.

That's fortunate because I have a phobia that prevents me from sexually interacting with someone who isn't flamboyantly open about their sexual desires toward me.

I also hate it when the vast majority of people do that. So if you expect me to have sex with you for positive or negative reasons, I'd give up."

Silence. Shocked-silence. No one could believe what they had just heard.

Caitlyn shot a mocking glance at the three women she stopped from storming away. They returned wry smiles filled with minor shame.

"Harem City will have a militia to keep you safe, a sector dedicated to obtaining food and necessities, and other common comforts you're accustomed to." Leon announced.

"Even if you don't enjoy the culture, it will still be a paradise compared to anywhere else.

In short, I'll protect you, help you stay warm and fed, and lead you to a home where you can enjoy the comforts and security of your old life."

Hundreds of candidates had followed @LeonTraxxx on FL and were watching the live stream.

The women expressed excitement while the males made assassination plots with others.

Everyone before him was especially moved, as they were given a personal invitation.

"There are only three things I ask of you in return." Leon announced.

Hearts started pounding after his topical shift. Everyone wanted on board but knew it was too good to be true.

"First, you will work in exchange for your protection." He began.

"There is no quid pro quo. However, there is an expectation of fighting, searching for supplies, and doing chores. Tasks will be divided by talent or other practical considerations."

Everyone Leon saved was competent. If they weren't, they wouldn't have survived the first day, let alone the second.

The difference was that everyone moving to the Sanctuary was competent, and most males survived because they were violent animals.

They didn't need aid because they were damsels; they needed help because their opponents were op superhumans with violent tendencies.

Therefore, willingness to work and survive was an expectation, and everyone nodded.

"Second, unless it is critical for a life or death situation, no one will ever ask to join my real harem.

No. You should expect to never join my real harem or receive my power's benefits.

Only Harem City elites and militia will have that option if they seek it." Leon announced.

The surprises kept pouring in for the fifty women in front of him. They had forgotten their anxiety because they were too confused to care.

"Lastly, and most importantly, you will never question my partners or our relationship dynamics!" Leon declared.

"My sweethearts are not unreasonable. However, if someone tries to harm me, they'll turn that person's body into a geometry problem, and I won't punish them for failing to solve it."

A wave of dread washed over the group.

"I'll die for my women. I won't even cry about anyone else." Leon warned.

"You're currently alive because of these three. You have no right to complain about your protectors.

That includes our relationships. We are unique people and will not justify our relationship or accept our beneficiaries criticizing it."

He scanned the audience one last time.

"One last thing. If you call me a misogynist or whisper about it, I'll abandon you in the middle of the wasteland to prove I'll treat you like men." Leon warned in a frigid tone.

"Assuming my partners haven't already ripped out your jugular and created a neck tourniquet with it."

The three women who tried stomping away froze and started trembling.

"I have a phobia against using women. So doing so is triggering me.

If you're stupid enough to trigger someone powerful enough to protect a small city, you're proving that gender does not correlate with stupidity or incompetency."

After he finished his statement, he scanned his eyes around the group.

"Do any of you have any questions?" Leon asked unceremoniously.

His awkward closing instantly snuffed out his speech's power and energy.

After fifteen seconds of silence, he closed his eyes and cringed. He wasn't an inspiring leader, but he felt it was unnecessary.

Anyone turning down his offer was an idiot and felt annoyed he even felt the need to justify his actions.

So the thought of failing at something that shouldn't have been necessary was taxing.

Leon opened his eyes to face the situation head-on but was surprised by what he saw.

"Ummmm…." A shy blonde said why approaching him, "I… I don't have much, but I have this mana potion. I hope you'll let me join you."

He accepted the blue bottle she pulled from thin air with a perplexed expression. It was his turn to be speechless, so he accepted the mana potion with a small nod.

A tall brunette followed up with a red backpack. "I have some food items and camping supplies. It's not much, but…."

Leon put up his hands with anxious eyes and walked backward.

"Thank you… but… everyone that wants to join is welcome!" Leon announced loudly, "Please don't give me gifts; please don't give me gifts."

To everyone's shock, he was slightly trembling and breathing raggedly.

After the first person provided an offering, the women went through their belongings, looking for offers.

Many started crying because they didn't have anything and feared they couldn't get in because all they had to offer was their body, and he wouldn't accept it.

Leon was live on camera as fifty women discussed the topic, and he had a panic attack. His situational awareness disappeared while walking backward.

He didn't know he was walking to the light blue barrier that separated the Sanctuary from the death strip leading to it.

"STOP IT!" Caitlyn yelled to all of the women.

The world froze and stood still, and everyone drew their eyes to the blonde.

"Didn't you hear him!?" She screamed, "He has an image phobia about people thinking or discussing he uses women for sex!"

Caitlyn's attention to the issue only worsened things, so Leon's pace increased.

He finally snapped out of his haze when he saw the blue barrier at his back.

The feeling of primal fear superseded his phobia and helped him break free from the abnormal fear washing through his body.

Leon took a deep breath and watched Caitlyn's tirade with a complex expression. The blonde defended him but was making the fearful women feel even worse.

"If I see another person cry because—"

Caitlyn's eyes snapped to the side as a jolt of electricity pulsed through her body.

Stalker Instincts: Danger Sense kicked in.

Everyone turned toward the barrier just in time to see Leon staring at everyone blankly in the open. Then something surreal happened.

Leon looked like someone unplugged him. His body lost motor function completely, and he fell backward outside the barrier.
