Chapter 191 191. SHARE
The hustle and bustle of the Guio district remained as it was the last time Noah had been there. Actually, there seemed to be more humans moving about the streets of that area than he expected.
\'Probably because of the upcoming gathering,\' Noah thought, walking down the different streets of that district.
He had limited himself to telport outside the district, before going through the Inspection again. That activity being as seamless as he remembered.
Deciding not to leave for the run-down looking building; which was the Divine Lightning guilds\' head branch, Noah carried out the task he had planned out earlier.
Unfortunately for him, commodities had taken a sharp hike in price, and he could only buy what wouldn\'t hurt his purse.
"15 small silvers!" Noah grimaced, standing in front of a wooden stall. His audience, the seller of the multiple fruits before him raised his head up in pride, he seemed to enjoy watching that beautiful man utter curses.
"If you do not have the funds to purchase my goods; leave! A line of more capable Individuals is behind you," the man\'s pompous voice rang out, his left hand waving Noah away.
A frown appeared on Noah\'s face at those words, and he didn\'t hesitate to step out of the line. However before leaving, he imprinted the man\'s face in his mind, concluding on teaching the mere lower-stage cultivator a lesson.
Due to the three tier 3 guards standing beside the stall, Noah couldn\'t afford to make a scene.
Short trips to other stalls mostly ended up with his disappointment. However, stalls displayed by female merchants remained the most productive ones, since they usually gave him unfair discounts.
Noah found himself bottling up his shame while making visits to female stalls. They never dissaponted, and he soon found himself with what he considered enough food supplies.
A sigh escaped Noah\'s mouth after concluding his buying. Having sepearated himself from the large crowds gathered at the front entrance of that district, he felt the desire to rest.
"Rest is for the weak," he chuckled sweeping his gaze on his surroundings, before his eyes suddenly sharpened.
Although he remained relatively in the open, his senses had picked up an individual tailing him. The presence had popped up after he patronized a particular female merchant.
\'Do people still sense me as a lower-stage cultivator,\' Noah wondered. He had gotten tired of being followed by suspicious individuals in every large settlement he arrived at.
\'I guess stalking isn\'t a crime here,\' he quickly held back his laughter, since a person suddenly walked up to him.
An eyebrow rose on Noah\'s face when a man dressed in a fine green garment came and performed a light bow in front of him.
"How may I help you?" Noah announced, not feeling threatened in the slightest. The reason even he couldn\'t cause a scene was the same for the man.
"I am Sertio. I came not of my own accord, but of my lady\'s," the mid-thirties aged man revealed. His peak lower-stage power tightly bottled up within his figure, yet Noah could clearly sense his presence.
"Go on," Noah ordered taking a step backwards, he didn\'t like their closeness.
"My lady wishes to spend the night with you," the man immediately went straight to the point. Needless to say, Noah felt surprised by that blatancy.
"Me," Noah uttered, his words more to himself than the man before him.
"Yes, young sir," Sertio responded.
"What do you say young sir? She\'s also willing to reward you for your time," Sertio revealed, but his last words darkened Noah\'s mood.
"Are you suggesting that I become a mere prostitute," Noah eyes shone with disgust and anger. His expression turning ugly at the mention of that word, yet his emotions remained tightly concealed.
A swallowing sound unconsciously escaped Sertio\'s throat, at the silent danger he felt from the young man before him.
"Never, young sir! I was simply informing you of the possible gains," Sertio tried to explain, but even his words didn\'t sound convincing to his ears.
"Then my answer is a resounding no," Noah declared, turning to walk away, quenching every slight consideration he had on the offer.
"Sir, please do not be offended!" Sertio called out trying to grab Noah. His arm froze mid-air before that action could be completed. As he felt the presence of something that shouldn\'t exist, manifest in front of him.
In mere instants Noah\'s figure had become the emodiment of death!
Sertio\'s Instincts told him of the outcome of his frozen action, and cold sweat inevitably ran down his back.
Noah limited himself to allow a whiff of all his anger seep out, however passerbys around him had turned towards his figure, fear evident on their weak faces.
Thankfully, Noah had just enough control to limit the effects of his passive \'\'Elemental Aura\'\' skill to not turn that place into an icy environment. But even that couldn\'t stop frost from forming beneath his barefeet.
Continuing his walk at a relatively fast pace, Noah moved to quickly leave that area entirely.
He could feel the gazes of curious individuals on his back, and only after a few minutes did he get the chance to cool off.
"That was close," Noah muttered standing in front of a glass window which belonged to a cafe.
His eyes inevitably fell on the tea drinking establishment and he didn\'t hesitate to walk in to have some.
Noah spent the rest of the day simply moving about that district. He confirmed that the place had really experienced an increase in activities, and the reason remained obvious to him.
However, when night-fall arrived, the increase in activities and travelling individuals proved to make things more difficult.
"We\'re out of space," a middle-aged man sporting finely combed grey hair, and neatly steamed black butler-like attire, announced to a dejected Noah.
A sigh escaped the borders of his lips, then he exited the empty reception of that fine inn.
This had been his fifth hotel and like the other four, their rooms had been fully booked.
\'Why didn\'t I think of this and book a room earlier during the day,\' Noah facepalmed himself, searching the well lit cobble stone streets with his eyes.
He found himself spending tens of minutes traversing the streets of the district in search of an inn he could spend the night in.
Eventually finding a nice inn, three stories in height, Noah quickly rushed in, his eyes shooting dense beams of hope.
He however encountered someone on his way there, but didn\'t pay much attention to the lady.
"Do you have a room available!" Noah nearly shouted, but felt surprised to hear a second voice utter the same words.
Turning to glance at the individual who dared to try and steal his room, Noah realized that it was the same lady he almost bumped into on his way in.
"There\'s only one," the female receptionist announced switching gaze\'s between Noah and the other lady.
Noah felt relief spread in his mind at their words, and his bag of coins quickly appeared in his hands while he requested for the price.
"50 small silvers," the lady revealed, and Noah\'s arms instantly went weak.
\'By the gods!\' Noah screamed Inwardly shooting an astonished gaze at the receptionist who promptly dodged it.
She couldn\'t dare lock gaze\'s with that man, whom she confirmed was the most handsome person she had seen in her life.
Reluctance appeared in Noah\'s mind at that sight, and he immediately began considering crossing the whole district to sleep in the forest.
"I\'ll take it!" The lady behind Noah practically jumped, and an ugly expression inevitably appeared on his face.
"I\'ll take it," Noah\'s deep voice rang out inside the reception, before fiercely locking gaze\'s with the good-looking lady before him.
The black-haired lady behind the reception watched this scene unsure of the next action to take. Nevertheless, a sentence soon escaped her mouth.
"Will you both be willing to share?" She announced.
""Huh!"" Noah and the lady exclaimed in unison.
