Chapter 412 412. LILUA

His results in the hunted maze had been an A, and so his rewards had been given to him based on that grade.

Noah had checked these details during his bedridden time due to boredom, and the items which were all based on the abilities of the hollows were actually utility items.

[Hollow Armor[Tier 3]: Pieces 3/3]

[Hollow helmet, Empty Breastplate, Hollow boots]

[Hollow Armor: When equipped at any time, you become immune to all physical attacks within the third tier, and gain a 150% increase in physical damage dealt]

[When equipped during day-time, you gain a 175% increase in movement speed as a result of the equipped boots]

[During night-time your movement speed returns to normal, but your physical attacks gain another 50% increase in damage dealt. Making your physical attacks max at 200% increase in output]

[Do note that elemental attacks wear down the armor's durability]

[Upgrade requirements: ????]

Noah found the armor favorable in all ways even if it would almost not be needed. He wondered what he would achieve if he equipped the armor on Muliix.

Noah had never actually laid eyes on the armor due to his location, but he imagined it would be very plain.

With that dealt with, he lay on his bed and fell into myriads of thoughts, after which he fell asleep for hours.

"How are you capable of sleeping so much?" Riveta's voice sounded almost mocking but mostly contained wonder.

"I don't know. It just happens," Noah shrugged sitting in front of the dining table while dummies came to serve them.

He remembered how it felt eating the meal she had allowed him to take the other time, and how they had really helped him lighten his mood in the seemingly endless maze.

The duo ate mostly silently, but times came when they exchanged words. Noah felt comfortable with her after all she had done. It would be impossible not to.

He had long since begun to think high-level cultivators were very easy to associate with, but he also had to be careful of extreme, vile personalities.

His time with Riveta was filled with banters and jokes and teases. She clearly enjoyed his company. and he did hers.

He got to find out that she was of the fire element, and had a deep love for forging.

Apparently, it had taken her two centuries of hard work to finally complete her tower and it was her greatest work. Noah agreed even if he had not seen most of its abilities.

"I believe it's high time I left," Noah said at some point after spending another three days with her.

"Yes. I've had my friendly-people-meter full. I need to spend another century or two alone; adventuring. Even with my power there are still places I can't touch due to how strong the beings and creatures there are."

"I see," Noah smiled. "Then I hope we meet when you need people around, and hopefully I'd have gotten far stronger," he declared.

"I'm sure I'll hear of your feats wherever I am," she shook her head with an even bigger smile.

"If you say so," Noah chuckled a bit before falling silent for a while.

"It was nice meeting you. This is my second departure, hopefully it lasts long so we can have a nice reunion." he added finding his words a bit weird even to himself.

"Get going before you start saying weird stuff," Riveta giggled and both of them fell into a companionable laughter after which Riveta waved her hand and his figure disappeared in a blue light.

Noah opened his eyes in the plain, and turned into a deep-yellow streak that shot towards a seemingly random spot in the plain.

Riveta caught sight of that event and wondered to herself who that man really was, but she simply shrugged and moved on to other things, next time they met he would probably tell her.

Noah blazed across the lands with relative ease. His surroundings had turned into a blur moving past his already determined mind.

Noah had an idea of where he was going. Or a set destination.

A town named Lilua. It was a town that wasn't exactly popular, after all according to the guild, it didn't have much trouble so no one ever needed to go there for any reason.

Noah only liked and felt curious about it due to its position.

The town was relatively big, and apparently had a population of about 12 thousand, but that wasn't its most interesting details.

The fact that the town was built on the remains of a mountain was.

Due to its unique location, it was elevated a few hundred meters above the ground level. But even at that no one really visited them.

According to the map he had on him, it was south-east of the plain, and was pretty close to the edge of the borders of their nation.

Then again, terms for distances was different in Cregar. Pretty-close would still mean hundreds of miles away.

Noah ran at about mach 30 constantly for a bit over one minute. He traveled about 380 miles in his chosen direction even if he had sometimes required taking normal paths or simply running across streams or rivers.

Moving at that speed made any sort of distance or obstacle pointless. Noah could quite literally run though walls, or in that case, run through thick formations of trees, or randomly placed boulders.

His journey was short and barely did anything to him. His essence reserves was crazy. He could run hours maybe days if he aimed at emptying his core while running.

But he doubted he would ever need to run that long.

After sprinting past a series of valleys and a very dense regions of vegetation filled with dangerous beasts that even had power in the Fourth tier, Noah's gaze eventually fell on a cubical wall set on what looked like a mountain that had been cut in half, creating a flat portion capable of hosting habitation.

He had only journeyed through those dangerous regions since they were the shortest path. If he had taken the normal carriage path seeing as such a roads even featured dangerous stops, he would have spent longer.

The vegetation soon began to recede, and quickly he found himself in a wide clearing surrounding the elevated town.

He had to come to a halt at that point.
