Chapter 541 - Young Master, I’m Still Here
Chapter 541: Young Master, I’m Still Here
Luosang could not help but laugh. Before, she might not have believed what he just said, but after hearing what Lu Kang said, she actually believed him a little. Nian Junting was never willing to tell people about how he really felt, so who knew?
“Are you feeling better today? Have you had an anti-inflammatory shot yet?” asked Luosang.
“Doctor Han came over and gave me the shot.” Nian Junting held her hand and said, “Come here, sit on my lap and let me hold you.”
“No! Your legs are injured, and Sister Lan and Steward Wu are both here watching.” Luosang was shy. “I’ll make you dinner.”
In the kitchen, Luosang prepared the food with Sister Lan’s help. Sister Lan was very happy to see her. “You are finally back. I don’t even know how I got through the days without you. Oh my, I really regret telling Young Master that you were on your period.”
“I’m sorry, Sister Lan. I put you in a difficult position.” Luosang felt so guilty.
“It’s okay, as long as you and Young Master are doing good. When you two get married, you can have a couple of chubby little boys, and I’ll look after them.” Sister Lan chuckled. “Trust me, I’m good at babysitting.”
Luosang’s face turned red. Wasn’t this conversation a little off-topic?
She was in a good mood, so she made six dishes for dinner as well as a chicken porridge, which was Nian Junting’s favorite.
The meal was served. Seeing the dishes on the table, Nian Junting felt flattered. “You haven’t treated me so well in a very long time.”
“Just eat.” Luosang handed him a bowl of mushroom soup.
Nian Junting finished the soup, then took a deep breath and said, “This is food for human beings. It’s so delicious.”
Sister Lan wanted to cry. “Young Master, I’m still here. Does my food taste that awful?”
Nian Junting snorted, glanced at her, and responded, “Your food has no problem, but you do.”
Sister Lan didn’t know what to say. What problem did she have? She was just a little fat and not as pretty as Sangsang.
“Sister Lan, ignore him,” said Luosang. Meanwhile, she gave him a sweet smile. What surprised her was that the two of them had finished all six dishes. She had a great appetite, but tonight, Nian Junting had eaten most of the food.
“You might throw up if you’ve had too much.” Luosang was really worried.
“That won’t happen. Ever since you left, I was withering away. I need some nourishment.” Nian Junting sighed.
Luosang was immediately distressed. “How much weight did you lose?”
Nian Junting blinked. A short while later, he murmured, “About half a kilogram.”
Luosang was speechless. How can you say that you withered away if you only lost half a kilogram? Any person could be half to one kilogram lighter at night than in the morning.
“I lost two kilograms,” she said.
“Isn’t that because you worked too much?” Nian Junting asked.
Luosang didn’t know what to say.
After dinner, Luosang wheeled Nian Junting around the villa, as the weather was nice. A seven or eight-year-old child passed by with his grandma. He pointed at Nian Junting and said, “Grandma, that man is in a wheelchair. He’s been in a wheelchair since last year.”
Nian Junting glared at him, upset.
His grandma hurriedly responded, “Don’t say that. You see, he’s been in a wheelchair for two years, but that lady never left him. That is true love.”
“No, it’s like sticking a lovely flower in a dunghill,” said the boy.
Nian Junting was pissed off. Why on earth was he a dunghill? His leg was just injured temporarily. Luosang laughed her head off. She hurriedly wheeled Nian Junting away.
“That child is not adorable at all,” Nian Junting complained.
