Chapter 781 - You Should Address Us As Your Sister
Chapter 781: You Should Address Us As Your Sister
Yan Su was a little stunned and nodded her head after a long while. She couldn’t finish the food anyway so he could have some. They would be classmates in the future; they might as well build an amicable friendship now.
“Let me get you a bowl of rice.” Yan Su emerged from the kitchen with a bowl of rice.
The white rice was placed in front of Mo Liuxi and he looked down at it and up again. His harsh gaze expressed his disapproval. “I’ll let it go today, but you shouldn’t let strangers into your place in the future. Especially when you’re alone at home. There are too many bad guys out there.”
He felt compelled to remind her since she was Luosang’s roommate. It was for Luosang’s sake.
“...”
So, she shouldn’t have let him in?
Yan Su thought that she was an easy-going person, but she found it hard to like the man sitting in front of her. He was a good-looking fella though, she had to admit.
“As a stranger, why did you invite yourself into the home of a girl that you barely know?” Yan Su calmly asked him.
“Do you realize how thick-skinned you are?” Yan Su thought.
“Because I know I am a good person.” Mo Liuxi picked up his chopsticks; the dishes looked tasty.
“...”
Yan Su shook her head in exasperation. She lowered her head to concentrate on the food. She had lost her appetite by then so she put down her utensils after a few bites.
She was originally worried that she couldn’t finish all the food but the man opposite her had a voracious appetite. He even finished the entire bowl of steamed pork ribs.
Yan Su was astonished to watch him eat like that. She noticed his long lashes fluttering under the light. He resembled Luosang quite a bit.
Even the way he ate, and his appetite.
After a bowl of rice, Mo Liuxi looked up and said, “Do you have more rice?”
“No more.”
“Can I finish the rest of the food?” he asked again, his voice as clear as day.
“Knock yourself out.”
After finishing all the food, Mo Liuxi looked up again. “I’m not full yet. I think I have to grab some fried rice later.”
Yan Su held back her laughter. “You resemble my friend when you eat. She’s my roommate.”
“Oh really?” Mo Liuxi’s cold expression softened and he raised his eyebrows. He looked intrigued. “How so?”
“She eats as well as you do.”
“...”
Mo Liuxi thought about it. He did eat his food well. He must have taken after Mo Jin just as Luosang did.
“Why isn’t your roommate back?”
“She’s staying with her boyfriend.” Yan Su stood up to clear the table.
She then felt an eerie aura.
Mo Liuxi grunted and said, “Young girls nowadays really don’t know how to love themselves.”
Yan Su was miffed but also amused. “You look like you’re younger than us. I don’t think we’re young girls anymore. You should address us as your sister.”
“Uninterested,” he said coldly.
“All right. Go along then. You were here to borrow a pair of scissors and you scored a free meal too.” Yan Su handed him a pair of scissors.
“I’ll return it later.” Mo Liuxi left with the scissors.
Yan Su wiped the table and washed the dishes. When she came out, Mo Liuxi was there to return the scissors. “Thank you,” he said.
