Chapter 911
Luosang pouted and asked, “Shouldn’t you let me have a good look at our marriage certificate?”
Nian Junting could only take it out again and pass it to her. Luosang opened it. It was quite simple. There was one photo and a few lines of words. Just like that, two people were forever bound together.
“What a beautiful couple,” Nian Junting said.
Luosang noticed the registration woman giving them strange looks. She quickly pulled Nian Junting out.
After getting onto the car, Nian Junting took a photo of the marriage certificate with his phone and posted onto his WeChat Moments with the caption, “We are married.”
Luosang looked at the post. They soon received many people’s well wishes. She felt rather blessed.
After she liked Nian Junting’s post, she quickly reposted the two photos with the caption, “My Mr. Nian and I have finally tied the knot.”
Nian Junting curved his lips. He turned around and kissed her cheeks. Next, he took out a small gift box from the storage compartment and said, “For you.”
“You got me a present?” Luosang raised her brows. She was surprised. Her Mr. Nian was becoming more romantic.
“Yes, I must give my wife a present the day we get married.” Nian Junting nudged his chin, indicating for her to open it.
Luosang lowered her head to open the box. Inside was a retro bracelet. It was a tribal style and beautifully crafted. There was a small locket and red agate on the chain. It looked exceptionally elegant.
He used to always give her diamonds. It was rare that this time he gave her an agate bracelet. Luosang thought he was rather creative.
“I like this very much, but isn’t it a little big?” she asked as she doubtfully extended her wrist.
“It’s not too big.” Nian Junting’s thin lips curved slightly as he said, “I’ve felt your ankle. It’s just right for your foot.”
Luosang lowered her head to look at the chain. Her face was full of questions. “This is an anklet?”
“Now that we’re married, I must use an anklet to chain your feet. You can’t run away from me anymore.” Nian Junting took grabbed the chain and commanded, “Give me your foot.”
Luosang was speechless. She finally understood that he had ulterior motives in giving her a gift. This was only the first day of marriage, yet he was already chaining her feet. He was ruthless.
“What are you in a daze for?” Nian Junting asked. “Hurry,”
Luosang could only reluctantly raise her foot and extend it toward him. It was still summer, so she was wearing a pair of white canvas shoes and ankle length trousers. With the anklet on, the red agate contrasted against the fairness of her skin, giving her the air of an exotic beauty.
Nian Junting seemed very happy. He kissed the agate on her ankle.
Luosang felt embarrassed. “It’s very dirty.”
It was usually alright for him to kiss after she had showered at home, but now they were outside and had walked. There could be dust.
“It’s not dirty. I like it.” Nian Junting gently put her feet down. “I’ll treat you to steak for lunch.”
…
The two of them spent the day, which would eventually become their anniversary, together. They finally returned to the villa late that night.
Nian Xi was lazily lying on their sofa eating snacks. On her chest was a Corgi puppy. With its ears pointed up high, it looked extremely adorable.
“It’s so cute.” Luosang’s heart softened immensely while looking at it. She stretched her hands out to hug it.
“Don’t touch it.” Nian Junting pulled her back. “You’re pregnant.”
“But it is so cute.” Luosang’s heart was melting.
“It is quite cute,” Nian Xi said as she patted the puppy, showering it with love.
