Chapter 706 - 706: Special Channel

“Was it not Andy whom you wanted me to kill yesterday?” Luo Feng inquired.

Old Blake didn’t deny it. “Yes, but now, I’m not asking you to kill him. I’ve merely provided you with information that he possesses valuable antiques. If you’re interested, you can investigate further. If not, then it can’t be helped.”

Having said that, Old Blake said no more, simply staring intently at Luo Feng.

Of course, Luo Feng was interested in the Shangfang Sword, a potent symbol of power and authority. However, he wondered about Old Blake’s intentions. Was he testing Luo Feng’s abilities?

Regardless of Old Blake’s motives, Luo Feng wouldn’t miss this opportunity. “Understood. I’ll take my leave now.”

Luo Feng then made his exit. Watching him leave, Old Blake’s lips quivered as if he wanted to say something, but he remained silent.

Upon leaving Blake’s residence, Luo Feng made inquiries about Andy. It didn’t take long for him to identify his target. While there might be many people named Andy, only one in Florida was known for his underworld connections and his penchant for antiques.

Luo Feng soon arrived at Andy’s residence. As Andy was about to step out, he noticed Luo Feng, an unfamiliar face, and immediately became cautious.

“May I help you?” Andy inquired.

“My name is Luo Feng,” he replied. “I’ve heard you possess a Shangfang Sword that’s over four centuries old. I’d like to take a look and possibly purchase it. Would you consider parting with it?”

Luo Feng’s straightforwardness momentarily stunned Andy. He had gone to great lengths to obtain that sword. While Andy enjoyed collecting artifacts, he primarily did so to sell them for profit. He wasn’t keen on selling the sword, especially not to someone of unknown origin.

“I’m not sure what you’re talking about,” Andy responded, attempting to leave. Luo Feng, however, blocked his path.

“We can negotiate the price. I am here with genuine intent,” Luo Feng assured him, producing a case filled with money. By a rough estimate, it contained at least five million dollars.

Seeing such a sum, Andy hesitated before finally deciding to engage with Luo Feng. “Follow me,” he instructed, leading Luo Feng inside.

As they settled in the living room, Andy soon had the Shangfang Sword brought to him. He unsheathed it, displaying its magnificence. “This piece came at a great cost to me. The money you’ve shown is merely a down payment.’

Luo Feng felt an uncanny familiarity with the sword. “May I inspect it?” he asked. Andy handed it over without hesitation.

After a thorough examination, Luo Feng was certain he had seen this sword in a museum before. “It’s in excellent condition for its age. The original owner must have cherished it greatly. How did it come into your possession?”

Gloating, Andy replied, “I didn’t get this from a collector. I took it from a museum.”

Luo Feng probed further, “Aren’t you concerned about the repercussions of stealing from a museum?”

Andy confidently retorted, “Don’t worry. They won’t trace it back to me. I’ve covered my tracks. They might not even realize it’s missing.”

Growing impatient with Luo Feng’s persistent questions, Andy added, “To be frank, I didn’t steal it from an American museum. Just by looking at it, one can tell it’s not of American origin.”

Though Andy didn’t explicitly state it, Luo Feng deduced that the artifact was most likely stolen from Beijing. There was no way he was going to pay a hefty sum for a stolen item..
