Chapter 713 - 713: Trailing
Luo Feng sighed, then got out of bed to buy breakfast.
As he left, Luo Feng overheard whispers among the people outside, indicating that Andy seemed to be planning some major move lately.
Given it was about Andy, Luo Feng listened for a moment.
“It seems that recently there’s some arrogant youngster who’s been challenging Andy, and now Andy is planning his revenge!”
“I truly never imagined that in our Florida, someone would dare to confront him. Don’t they know that Andy’s gang is the biggest around here?”
“And besides, Andy is the most ruthless in their group. If anyone dares to oppose him, Andy makes sure they end up dead. This is common knowledge. I can’t believe someone would dare to challenge him.”
“I don’t know, maybe some big shot wants to stir the pot. Anyway, it doesn’t concern ordinary folks like us; we just need to enjoy the show.”
From their conversation, Luo Feng didn’t glean much information, but it was his first time learning that Andy was such a formidable figure in the largest gang here.
After all, he had only been in Florida for two days; how could he know such details?
Just as Luo Feng thought he wouldn’t gain any more insights and was about to leave, the two men suddenly stopped him.
“Young man, you look familiar. Have we met before?”
With that question, Luo Feng turned around and examined the men closely.
After a long scrutiny, their faces lit up with recognition.
“I remember now! Aren’t you Luo Feng, the one who caused a commotion in
Atlanta?”
“I never thought I’d see you here again!”
One of them looked at Luo Feng with clear admiration.
Luo Feng hadn’t expected to encounter someone from Atlanta here.
“Could you give me an autograph and take a picture with me? I truly admire you! Having your autograph or a photo would give me such bragging rights among my friends!”
The man was extremely excited, and Luo Feng was a bit taken aback; after all, he wasn’t some celebrity idol.
The man then hesitated for a moment, and with a conspiratorial tone, asked Luo Feng:
“After all the commotion you caused in Atlanta, you wouldn’t happen to be behind the disturbances here in Florida, would you?”
“What are you thinking? I’m not a professional troublemaker. I’m here for an event and will be leaving tomorrow.”
After responding, Luo Feng didn’t want to engage further and turned to leave. The man tried to follow but couldn’t keep up.
Luo Feng hadn’t expected to be perceived as a mischief-maker by others. On second thought, he had indeed been involved in many incidents, though most were not of his own making. Nonetheless, his reputation had spread. A bit exasperated, Luo Feng quickly left the hotel, planning to grab some breakfast and then head out.
However, as he approached the breakfast shop, he spotted a group of bodyguards in black suits, seemingly searching for someone.
Seeing these gang-like figures, Luo Feng instinctively thought they might be sent by Andy.
Initially, Luo Feng wanted to avoid them, but before he could make a move, they spotted him.
Instead of making a scene, they whispered among themselves and then remained silent.
Seeing that he couldn’t avoid them, Luo Feng boldly approached them:
“You gentlemen look familiar. Are you working for Andy?”
To Luo Feng’s surprise, they still pretended not to understand, even after he was so direct.
“Sorry, we aren’t aware of any appointment Mr. Andy has tonight. If you have a message for him, perhaps you should contact him directly.”
“No need. Just relay my message. Also, tell him that the next time he sends people to tail me, he should choose those who are a bit smarter. Otherwise, when I talk, it feels like I’m playing a lute to a cow.”
After saying this, Luo Feng walked past them, bought breakfast, and left.
Soon after, he quickly returned to his hotel. But upon entering his room, he realized that Luna was missing.
A surge of anxiety overcame Luo Feng.
Could it be that when she woke up and found him gone, she went out to look for him? Considering that Andy’s men were always watching, if that was the case, the situation looked dire for her..
