Chapter 6 Mu Shuiruo
There was a pained groaning sound.
Everything around Ling Tian was dark. His consciousness was still submerged in darkness.
Ling Tian slowly regained consciousness. He began to vaguely remember what had happened so that he ended up in this state.
After facing the Wrath of the Heavenly Dao, he fell into an unconscious state. He knew this, as he exhausted all his strength to resist such divine damnation.
He knew that his body must still be badly wounded, as he could not use the vitality of the World Tree that resided in his heart. The Heavenly Dao knew that he could not do much harm to him, so had to seal his heart to prevent the vitality granted by the World Tree from helping to heal Ling Tian\'s wounds.
Ling Tian tried to open his eyes, but he felt that his eyelids were too heavy, so it took him a while to open his eyes properly. It felt like an eternity.
Huh?
When Ling Tian opened his eyes, he was surprised to see a roof.
\'Wasn\'t it supposed to be in the middle of the plains?\'
\'How is there supposed to be a roof here?\'
\'Where am I?\'
\'Has someone brought me somewhere?\'
Feeling a little stiff, he tried to get up.
Ling Tian struggled for a long time, but in the end, he was so weak that he could only sit up. Even his face was so red after all that effort he made.
Haaa...
Ling Tian gasped, trying to regain his strength.
Ling Tian released his spiritual sense to check his body.
\'I knew it!\'
His immortal strength had been sealed back into his Dantian.
His body was filled with both internal and external wounds. It seems that the vitality of the World Tree was able to escape a little from the seal of the Heavenly Dao, managing to heal its organs slowly in time. At this rate, it would take him a few weeks to recover over 70%.
Even the muscles and cells in his body had an undetectable restriction that weakened his whole body. In short, it is as if Ling Tian had never cultivated a technique of body refinement. He was no different than a mere mortal right now.
He knew that he didn\'t have an ounce of immortal essence in his meridians, but could easily begin to heal his body.
Ling Tian realized that almost his entire body was covered with bandages and underneath it, some herbs had been applied to treat the wounds. He even had a handkerchief over his forehead, the water seemed to have dried up.
\'It seems that someone has been taking care of me...\'
Ling Tian realized that he had even been changed. These clothes looked a little rough and a little tight. They were clearly men\'s clothes, specifically speaking of a young adult.
Ling Tian checked his body and noticed that his storage ring was missing. He directed his gaze across the room where he was sitting.
The room was small in size, with enough space for a bed and a small table and chair. The window was on his right side and the morning sunlight was coming in.
\'It looks like it\'s barely dawn.\'
Ling Tian soon checked the small table. Indeed, his spatial ring was there.
Just as he wanted to move and stand up to pick up his space ring:
Drrr
The sound of the door opening reached Ling Tian\'s ears.
Ling Tian turned his gaze to the door. He was shocked.
Her skin was tender and as white as the purest snow, shining like the finest and most beautiful jade. Her hair was long and deeply black. A face like the purest, cleanest jade in the world resided in her. She had the purest pair of eyes in the world. He had never seen such eyes even in the immortal world. A delicate porcelain nose. Slightly flushed cheeks. Thin, outlined eyebrows. Exquisite, thin cherry lips so perfect they added a fascinating charm. Her perfectly sized breasts stood out under the dress she wore, and from the shape of her body, one could tell that, although she was still developing, she was still so perfect. Although her dress was not of the finest and most beautiful fabric, it was still neat. All this work of art, emanating purity and holiness, was in a young woman of apparent 18 years of age. And she stood there as if she could not believe that Ling Tian was awake.
Ling Tian was stunned, looking at such stunning beauty that even he, who had seen all kinds of women before, couldn\'t help but be stunned by such a woman. No immortal fairy in the immortal world could compare to this woman.
He quickly tried to calm himself before he realized that in her hands she seemed to be carrying a bowl with some water and inside was a towel. Instantly, Ling Tian knew that she was coming to change the towel that he had on his forehead before.
Ling Tian quickly understood all this and deduced that she had been in charge of taking care of him, so he showed a grateful smile as he spoke softly to her in a weak tone: " H-hi, how are you, thank you for taking care of me." Ling Tian even found it difficult to speak, as he still felt weak.
The woman\'s face turned red immediately while the nervousness could be seen clearly in her.
Ling Tian was amused to see the expression on the girl: \'It seems she still maintains her innocence as a little girl.\'
"Little sister, what\'s your name...?" Ling Tian asked nicely. He wanted to know the name of his benefactor. Although he knew she probably looked after him, he was sure someone else had to bring him in. He didn\'t think such a beautiful young woman would carry him from the plains.
The girl blushed even more at the sight of Ling Tian\'s smile. Despite that Ling Tian was full of wounds on some parts of his face, it still could not help but show that he was handsome. Although she had seen many men who did not \'lose\' in appearance before, it was the first time she had blushed to see Ling Tian looking at her. There was a strange feeling for her when she saw him. That had never happened to her before. After a few seconds, she replied: "S-Shuiruo... Mu Shuiruo..."
Ling Tian was surprised to hear such a beautiful and somewhat heavenly voice from her. It seemed that her voice was in accordance with her appearance, showing that she was like a work made by the heavens themselves with a sacred and inviolable beauty.
"That is a beautiful name, as is your beautiful appearance." Ling Tian said what he was thinking, making Mu Shuiruo blush even more.
Ling Tian smiled, "I seem to have caused you a great deal of trouble." He gave her a friendly smile: "My name is Ling Tian, you can call me brother Tian or whatever you like."
He was not an ungrateful person. He would repay kindness with kindness. To whomever reached out to him when he needed it most, he would be eternally grateful and do everything to return the favor when needed. As for Mu Shuiruo, he would be gentle and grateful. Ling Tian knew that some days must have passed and she had been looking after him every day.
"Sister, how is he-?"
A young man with a face full of some scars and some rough clothing entered the room and stopped his words as he saw Ling Tian awake.
