Chapter 33 Absorb Beast Core

What he was currently wearing was his best clothes. It wasn\'t that impressive but at least, it didn\'t have any thread hanging out of the edges.

Fortunately for him, the agent was kind enough to tell him where to get simple materials like clothing, foodstuffs and furnitures.

Although there was no manufacturing companies or technological companies in this part of the city, there were numerous stores and simple businesses in it.

Since most of its residents were people who decided to live \'normal lives\', there were definitely some of them who decided to open up stores, restaurant and other types of simple businesses.

There was a clothing store at the next street, from what Mr Rey told him, they sold quality clothes in the store. He planned on heading there to get some clothes.

Without wasting too much time, he went to the store.

Just like the agent said, they did have quality clothes. The store only had one-storey and was also designed quite lavishly.

Although his dressing seemed to be subpar when compared to that of the other people in the hall, no one mocked him or stared at him weirdly. Everyone just minded their business.

Harry went around the store and picked the clothes of his choice. He also got a few casual wears and a pajamas, after getting all he needed, he paid for them and left the store.

Harry nodded his head in satisfaction as he observed his dressing. He was putting on a red jacket along with matching black pants.

Unlike the usual plain clothes he usually wore, these ones actually had some designs on it. The red jacket had blue and black lines around the collar and edges while the trousers had two blue lines at the side.

A slight frown suddenly appeared on Harry\'s face. He used one hand to raise his jacket to his chest and rubbed his abdomen with the other. A slight grimace appeared on his face as he felt the emptiness of his stomach.

\'I should get something to eat.\' Harry mumbled Inwardly, still holding his stomach.

He hadn\'t eaten anything since the last night, Although he hadn\'t felt the usual weariness around his body, or the stinging pain in his stomach, which were simply the symptoms of a \'disease\' called hunger, he still wanted to at least eat good food—one that he bought with his own money. After all, he now had enough money to afford it.

He had noticed that ever since he got the system, hunger didn\'t seem to affect him as much as it did before—if it did, he doubted he would have been able to complete his daily quest.

He assumed that his energy also had some refreshing properties like mana, however low stage Elementalists still needed food to survive—they were like normal humans in that aspect.

However, those with stage five mana core could do without food for days and even months.

As for grand and supreme grand mages, things like food and water were useless to them, they could survive and normally carry out their daily activities without the need of food and water. They only ate to savor the taste, not because of hunger.

So Harry\'s guess was that he could do without food for some days—three or four at most. He wasn\'t sure about his limit yet and he didn\'t plan on testing it anytime soon, but it was still quite surprising considering that his energy points was still quite low.

\'Yeah… I should eat something. When last did I eat what I want?\' Harry thought. He then locked his apartment and went to the nearest restaurant.

After walking around for a little while, he came across a restaurant that was called Jade restaurant. It seemed to be a well-known restaurant from the number of people patronizing it.

Harry salivated as he looked at the restaurant, the moment he walked in, the scent of different types of food wafted into his nose, making him salivate more. He had never been so excited about eating.

After making himself comfortable at one of the tables, a waiter came to him and asked for his order, presenting him with the order list.

Harry went through the order list, he didn\'t know what to pick so he simply selected series of food he felt like eating at the moment.

The waiter looked at him weirdly for a second before finally leaving to get his order. Although it took longer than usual—due to the amount of food Harry ordered—the waiter finally arrived with a huge tray containing all that Harry ordered.

He was silently cursing Harry in his heart for making him go through all these stress, never had he seen someone order so much food!

Harry\'s eyes shone in excitement as he watched the waiter—who for some reason seem to take hours to reach his table—approaching with his order.

The waiter finally reached his table, he placed the tray gently on the table, and then arranged the food for Harry to eat before finally leaving.

Most of the people at other tables stared at Harry weirdly, but Harry wasn\'t bothered about that, more like he wasn\'t focusing on them. His gaze was only on the table in front of him.

He looked at the different types of food in front of him, inwardly making a debate on the dish to try out first.

\'Turkey.\' Harry thought, finally making up his mind on the dish to start with. He then proceeded to grab the turkey leg on the table, after cutting it into smaller sizes that could fit in his mouth, he quickly ate it.

He felt a mixture of different flavours as he chewed the turkey, all of them coming together to create a sharp taste that was definitely pleasant to his tongue.

Harry\'s hand and mouth didn\'t stop moving until he finished everything on the table, making sure that there was nothing left on the plates.

\'Now that felt good.\' Harry thought while resting his back on the chair. He had a look of satisfaction on his face as he looked at his slightly bloated stomach.

He then left the restaurant but not before buying more food, but this time instead of eating at the restaurant, he decided to take it home so he would eat it later.

After he settled the bill, he left the restaurant and went back to his apartment.

"Host attributes," Harry called out while sitting down on the sofa in the living room.

He slightly nodded his head in satisfaction after seeing his attributes. Although he was still unhappy about the charm stat that was still locked, he consoled himself with his other stats that had increased tremendously.

A strange gleam suddenly flashed through Harry\'s eyes as he went to one of the rooms in the apartment.

The house had two rooms, however, he didn\'t have any use for the second one at the moment.

This room was scanty and full of space as the only thing occupying was a bed and a closet placed beside the bed.

Harry immediately rushed to the closet, he opened it and brought out the dull white stone inside it. His eyes gleamed with delight as he stared at the stone.

As for what \'stone\'… it was nothing more than the peak stage four beast core!

As he held the beast core and stared at it with gleaming eyes. An expected notification from the system flashed across his eyes.
