Chapter 456: Very Happy Today

Song Qingyou nodded and lifted her blindfold.

She thought that she would see the crew. At most, she would be curious about the surprise they had prepared.

She never thought that Jiang Xuyan and Chen Lan would appear in front of her. They were pushing the dining cart, Lin Xuyang and Tang Guoguo were lighting candles, and Jiang Zhihan was holding a large bouquet of pink lilies and baby’s breath.

Beside and behind them were Zhao Yingnan, Shu Ling, Lin Siya, Xu Xingzhou, Tang Zinian, Ye Guiwan, Fu Chen, He Yuchi, Zhong Jiayin, and Gu Xingchen…

They were all people who could be considered friends.

On the castle behind a group of people, a projector was used to project the words ‘Happy Birthday’ in cursive letters.

Song Qingyou’s eyes flashed. Just as she was about to speak, a familiar figure walked out from behind the crowd, holding a crown in his hand.

“Dad.”

Song Qingyou called out.

Song Xingye smiled at her and gestured for her to lower her head.

“Happy birthday.”

“Qingyou.”

A crown with a pink diamond on top was placed on Song Qingyou’s head, making her look like a real princess.

Jiang Zhihan stepped forward and handed her the flowers.

Song Qingyou looked at the man who stood out among the crowd of artists and couldn’t help but laugh.

“Thank you.”

Her smile made Song Xingye, who was just about to help put the candles on, immediately alert. He turned around and wanted to take his daughter away.

An Sui felt that the situation was not good and went forward to hold Song Xingye’s arm.

“Uncle, didn’t you prepare a camera? Where should 1 put the camera? I came to take a photo with you and Qingyou…”

Song Xingye was dragged away.

Song Qingyou stood next to Jiang Zhihan. After greeting the others, she asked in a low voice, “Was the birthday party your idea or An Sui’s?”

After asking, she thought it through. “It should be your idea. If it was An Sui, we would at most have a meal on the deck below. 1 heard from the staff that the top floor of the Pearl is usually closed.”

Jiang Zhihan didn’t deny it. “Weren’t you curious about this place before you boarded the ship?”

Song Qingyou nodded. She really wanted to come up and take a look.

After all, there had never been a cruise ship that would transform the topmost floor into a castle in a manor. It even looked very much like the castle of Mont St. Michel in Country F[l] when viewed from a distance, as if it were a fairy tale world that was incompatible with reality.

“It’s very beautiful.” Song Qingyou praised him and turned to look at Jiang Zhihan, “But, is it okay for you to use the time that you’ve turned back into on my birthday party?”

After all, she had watched Jiang Zhihan work as a cat.

It was hard to lift his claws and type the words.

“To me, this is not a waste of time.”

His emerald eyes reflected the light of the stars in the night sky, flashing like a meteor that would fall into Song Qingyou’s heart in the next second.

Song Qingyou pursed her lips. The softest part of her heart seemed to have been touched, and her usually calm heart began to beat faster.

“You-”

She was never the type to back down.

Even if it was an ambiguous relationship, Song Qingyou wanted to take the lead.

But before she could say a word, she heard Tang Guoguo’s innocent voice.

“Why does sister keep whispering to that big brother? Sister, don’t you want to eat cake?”

The kid who had just graduated from kindergarten asked.

Song Qingyou snapped back to reality and finally remembered that she was still at her birthday party.

From the corner of her eye, she saw that Jiang Zhihan’s face was calm, but his ears were slightly red. She couldn’t help but smile.

She turned around and held the child’s hand as she walked to the three-layered cake that everyone had prepared.

“Why don’t we take a photo together first?” An Sui shook the camera in his hand.

Everyone agreed and surrounded Song Qingyou like stars surrounding the moon.

Since everyone knew Jiang Zhihan’s identity and how familiar he was when he gave Song Qingyou flowers…

Therefore, everyone silently left a spot in the middle for him.

After that, everyone ‘excluded’ Jiang Zhihan and Song Xingye and took a ‘group photo’ with them.

Next, Song Qingyou blew out the candles and made a wish. Then she was pressed into the seat and enjoyed the messy talent show that everyone had prepared.

Even Jiang Zhihan went on stage to sing a song.

Most of the time, Jiang Zhihan was giving meetings or speeches.

This was the first time Song Qingyou had heard him sing.

With Jiang Zhihan’s looks and voice, even if he didn’t have any singing skills, it wouldn’t be a dream for him to become famous overnight.

However, singing on stage didn’t suit Jiang Zhihan.

No matter how he looked at it, this person should be sitting in his office and seriously evaluating documents.

In the second half of the birthday party, everyone inexplicably held a discussion.

After chatting for a while, Jiang Xuyan and the others started to play party games. If they lost, they would be punished to drink. Even Tang Guoguo was forced to join, although children would not be punished.

Song Xingye was pulled along by An Sui to discuss company matters with Lin Xuyang.

Now that the An family and Longxing Logistics were working together, there was indeed a lot of work to do.

Song Qingyou declined the game invitation and took the opportunity to upload the ‘group photo’ to Weibo.

The fans all knew that it was Song Qingyou’s birthday today, but they didn’t expect her to invite so many people to a birthday party.

Gu Xingchen, Zhong Jiayin, and a few others were among them. They could totally foresee how popular this photo would be.

Jiang Zhihan waited for the person beside him to put away her phone before asking, “Do you want to take a look inside the castle?”

Song Qingyou stood up. “What’s inside?”

“Some decorations.”

Jiang Zhihan keyed in his password and fingerprint, pushed the door open, and entered.

The decorations he mentioned were all items that would only appear in major auctions.

There were paintings hanging on the wall, sculptures, porcelain, and so on in the display cabinet.

If you ignored the living room, bedroom, and kitchen, which were used to entertain guests, you could hold an exhibition anytime and anywhere.

Of course, Song Qingyou wasn’t very interested in these artworks.

Jiang Zhihan noticed this, so he gave a simple introduction.

After a while, the two of them stood at the top of the tower in the middle of the castle.

Looking down from the window, she could see An Sui and the others who were engrossed in the game, as well as Lin Xuyang and the other two who were chatting about work. They even took out their computers.

As long as she raised his head slightly, she could see the sea.

At this moment, a pink firework suddenly bloomed in the pitch-black night sky, followed by colorful lights that filled the sky, making the sky seem as if it was daytime.

The sound of fireworks covered the sound of the waves and the noise of the people downstairs.

Song Qingyou stared blankly for a while, then couldn’t help but turn to look at the person beside her.

The fireworks were definitely arranged by Jiang Zhihan, which was why the cruise ship was about to dock, but hadn’t docked yet.

Jiang Zhihan didn’t look at the fireworks as he turned his head to look at the person beside him.

When the other party looked over, their eyes met.

Song Qingyou felt a wave of heat rising up.
