Chapter 49 - 49: 49: When?
But Yigol Novak couldn’t bear to hurt Suri Drew, he just couldn’t.
He could wait patiently until she was ready to accept him.
He wanted to cherish Suri in every way, always putting her needs first, naturally never letting his desires make her unhappy.
“Wifey,” Yigol whispered softly.
Suri’s eyelashes fluttered a few times but she remained silent.
“Wifey, don’t be nervous, it will hurt your body. Don’t worry, I won’t hurt you,” Yigol gently coaxed her.
Suri opened her eyes and hesitantly looked at Yigol.
Her eyes were full of nervousness.
They had already come this far, and she truly loved him. But no matter how far they had come, she was still nervous.
“You, what are you doing? Hurry… sleep,” Suri stammered softly.
“Sleep? Sleep?” Yigol was taken aback and asked with surprise.
“You… how could you… hmph, I’m ignoring you,” Suri blushed, but her nervousness eased a lot.
“Hee hee,” Yigol saw that she was feeling better and wasn’t as worried.
Suri became even more embarrassed, wanting to get up and tidy up Yigol a bit.
“You, don’t you dare, I, I’ve only known you for three or four days,” Suri said without daring to look into Yigol’s eyes.
“What do you mean by ‘don’t you dare’?” Yigol teased, “Wifey, I don’t understand. I’m too dumb to understand what you mean. If you could be more specific, or even better, demonstrate what you mean,” Yigol continued to tease.
As soon as his voice fell, his head was suddenly hit by something. Then came a barrage of soft pillows, not painful, but he was quite overwhelmed.
Yigol couldn’t help himself, trying to gain an advantage in a teasing exchange and bearing the consequences.
With all this commotion, Suri’s nervousness disappeared entirely.
Yigol didn’t resist, letting Suri hit him like this.
At first, Suri just blindly hit him without noticing anything. When she finally began to calm down, she realized that Yigol didn’t dodge at all and was being pummeled like a wooden mannequin.
Suddenly, her heart gave a lurch, and she stopped.
Seeing Yigol’s helpless smile, Suri felt silly.
After feeling silly for a while, she suddenly laughed.
Suri asked with a smile, “Why, why don’t you dodge at all?”
“I’ve been knocked out by you, wifey. I need resuscitation, save me, wifey,” Yigol said pitifully to Suri.
“You’re not pretty but quite daydreaming. Knocked out, huh? Let me help you with first aid?” Suri pretended to be disgusted in her reply.
“Sure, but you have to hold my hand tightly,” Yigol intertwined his fingers with Suri’s.
Suri unceremoniously shook him off, “Go away, annoying.”
Yigol suddenly leaned forward, startling Suri who quickly pulled up the blanket tightly around herself and moved back several times, “You, you…” She couldn’t even say her words properly due to the panic.
“Wifey, I want to discuss something with you.”
Yigol saw Suri’s guarded expression and felt a bit helpless. If he really wanted to do something, could this little girl escape?
“Wha, what? You, you must not mess around…” Suri’s eyes darted around as she looked at Yigol.
That adorable and charming reaction made Yigol’s suppressed fire want to burn again.
He struggled to control himself, not daring to get any closer to Suri. Otherwise, he was really worried that he would lose control over himself.
“Wifey, when you and Sana went shopping today, I ran into the real estate agent I bought my house from before. I suddenly had an idea.”
“Wifey, don’t you think our current place is a bit small?” Yigol asked tentatively.
Suri shook her head, “No, I think it’s great. If it were too big, it would feel empty. When the house is empty, your heart will feel empty too.”
“But when Sana came, our place started to feel a bit crowded. How will it be when our family gets even bigger? We can’t just put our parents in a hotel when they visit!”
“It’s not about money, but since they’re family members, they should stay at home to be close. But look at our current place, it’s not convenient for guests.” “We must keep this house as it’s the base of our love.”
Suri lowered her head and mumbled softly, “I, I never said I wanted to be with you for a lifetime.”
“Wifey, if you keep lying, I’ll come and get you,” Yigol moved his body a bit, deliberately getting a little closer to Suri.
“You dare.”
Unexpectedly, the always shy Suri suddenly “toughened up.”
Yigol swallowed hard and gave up. He really didn’t dare.
He really wanted to dare, but if he did, the rift between him and Suri would never be mended.
“Wifey, I was thinking, instead of buying a wedding house, why don’t we build one ourselves?”
“We’ll build whatever we want. The most important thing is for you to be comfortable at home. So when you have time, think about your ideas and write them down. Then we’ll find a designer to make a design draft and find someone to build it.”
“It would be best to finish building before the end of the year. What do you think?” Yigol asked.
“What, what does it have to do with me?” Suri replied, looking down.bender
Yigol smiled. If Suri really thought it had nothing to do with her, she wouldn’t have been impatient and would have dared to look at him.
Was she shy?
“Of course, it has to do with you. It’s our wedding house. How can it have nothing to do with you? Since you’re the lady of the house, it’s only right that you take care of it. Otherwise, what if you don’t like it after our wedding banquet?”
“Who said I was going to marry you?” Suri’s little face turned beet red.
Yigol looked at her adorable expression and was filled with a mix of laughter and tears.
“Alright, alright. Whatever you say goes. Can you just do me a favor and provide some ideas for reference, please?”
“When I get married and move into my wedding house, my partner will definitely love it because you’re so beautiful and your ideas and style will naturally match a girl’s taste. My wife will definitely love it,” Yigol said with a smile.
“Who are you planning to marry?” Suri asked casually. Without realizing it, she moved a bit closer to Yigol. Since they were already quite close, this brought them even nearer to each other.
In Yigol’s perspective, her huffy look was just too adorable no matter how he looked at it..
