Chapter 50
Chapter 50
"What if I say, that afternoon when we stayed at Qinghe Xiaolou, I dreamed about a car accident happening on the way back, do you believe it or not?" She suddenly became serious.
Xu Xiuhe carefully recalled that day. Indeed, the car had already been driven out of the garage, then Shen Yin suddenly mentioned staying overnight at the small building. Xu Xiuhe became serious and looked at Shen Yin.
"That afternoon, I don't know why I slept for so long. The dream was so realistic. In the dream, you were driving, Zhengzheng and I were sitting in the same positions as in reality. After waking up, I thought I was overthinking, but it was really raining outside."
Shen Yin said, getting a little excited, unwilling to recall it.
Xu Xiuhe gently patted Shen Yin on the back, as if to soothe her. Then he said, "I believe you."
This comfort seemed to work. Did Xu Xiuhe really believe her?
"Does anyone else know about your prophetic dreams?" Xu Xiuhe asked.
"No one. I also know it's really hard to believe and no one will believe me if I say it. But it really happened. Only you and Zhengzheng know for now." Shen Yin said while helping Zhengzheng get some food.
Zhengzheng seemed to not hear Xu Xiuhe and Shen Yin's conversation at all, eating deliciously without any distraction.
"Then what else did you dream about?" Xu Xiuhe asked.
"I dreamed that at Shu Yi's press conference tomorrow, the stage she was standing on collapsed, and the big light on the ceiling fell directly on her, blood all over her head, and then she fell down."
"I don't know if it will really happen, but the dream was still very realistic, the same feeling as the car accident dream, only the time before it happens is a little longer than last time."
"Where is the press conference?" Xu Xiuhe asked. Based on his observations over the past two months, Shu Yi seemed to be Shen Yin's only friend.
"At Qingfeng Mingyue. My purpose in telling you this is, if this really happens, can you check whether this is an accident or someone deliberately harmed her."
Xu Xiuhe looked at Shen Yin and said, "If Qingfeng Mingyue wasn't my asset, would you not tell me about this at all?"
Shen Yin thought for a few seconds, then nodded.
Xu Xiuhe was really angry. "Why wouldn't you tell me?"
"If I told you, would you believe it?" Shen Yin retorted.
Xu Xiuhe looked into Shen Yin's eyes firmly and nodded, "I would."
Shen Yin's heart beat faster under his gaze.
Finally, Xu Xiuhe changed the subject, "So what do you plan to do, if this dream comes true, how do you plan to stop it?"
"I'm going to the press conference tomorrow, to respond accordingly."
"No." Xu Xiuhe directly refused.
"I'll send Zhengzheng to my mom in the morning, and go by myself, it won't be dangerous."
After getting along for two months, Xu Xiuhe also discovered that Shen Yin was a very opinionated person, and it was difficult for others to change her mind once she decided on something.
"Alright, pay attention to safety, call me anytime if anything comes up."
The next day, Shen Yin packed all the things Zhengzheng would need during the day in a bag. She wore a mask, hat, and sunglasses, then drove Zhengzheng to Yu Lan Garden.
Because she didn't tell Fang Yue in advance that she was coming over, when she was close, Shen Yin called Fang Yue.
"Hello, mom, are you home?"
"I'm home, what's up?"
"It's like this, I might have something to do this morning and can't bring Zhengzheng with me conveniently. Could you help me watch him?" Shen Yin asked.
"Of course, of course, should I go pick up Zhengzheng?"
"No need, Zhengzheng and I are almost there, just come open the door."
Fang Yue was delighted. It seemed like there was no longer any estrangement between her daughter and herself. She was free every day, tending flowers and drinking tea. Of course she would be happy to look after her grandson.
"Zhengzheng, be good and stay with grandma this morning. Mommy has something to do and will come get you in the afternoon."
"Okay, with grandma."
"Zhengzheng is so good." Shen Yin picked Zhengzheng up from the back seat and handed him to Fang Yue.
"Mom, thanks for the trouble." Shen Yin thanked her again.
"What trouble? I'm overjoyed. Or should I just dedicate myself to looking after Zhengzheng for you from now on?"
"Sounds good." Shen Yin said with a smile. Of course she couldn't bear to be separated from Zhengzheng, unless she was too busy to take care of him. It was great that her own mother was willing to help look after her child, so she was happy to agree for now.
"Say bye to mommy again, Zhengzheng." Shen Yin waved to Zhengzheng as she got in the car.
Seeing that, Zhengzheng shook his little head and waved his little hand. "Bye bye."
Shen Yin was farsighted and fully armed. After all, she now bore the title of wife of the president of Yuan Group, she had to consider not just herself but Yuan Group as well.
Sure enough, as she expected, the entrance of Qingfeng Mingyue was surrounded by reporters and media. This time she didn't need to show her face or have the strictly required entry tickets from last time.
So Shen Yin went straight from the underground parking lot and took the elevator up to where the press conference was being held.
Because she was fully masked up, no one could see Shen Yin's face. Her figure and temperament were also unlike ordinary people, so the staff assumed Shen Yin was a lead actress and directly led her to the dressing room backstage.
Shen Yin looked around one by one until she finally saw Shu Yi's dressing room.
Knock knock knock, Shen Yin knocked three times.
Shu Yi opened the door and immediately recognized that the woman in front of her with even her eyes hidden was Shen Yin.
"You're so late, I thought you weren't coming." Shu Yi said in a slightly complaining tone.
"This is the first time you're wearing clothes I designed, how could I possibly not come? I had to send Zhengzheng to my mom first, didn't I. With so many people here, I was worried it would be unsafe to bring him."
"True, look, your design is so gorgeous." Shu Yi spun around in front of Shen Yin.
Shen Yin looked it over. It was great, very striking and fitted perfectly, but it seemed to still be missing something.
