Chapter 61 - 61: Mandy The Party Pooper
“Girls from Porthampton University won’t date Connor, but it doesn’t mean that girls from other schools won’t date him!”
Brandon Guthrie suddenly said coldly.
Everyone was stunned. Then, they realized what was going on.
“Connor must have hooked up with girls from other schools. He’s here pretending to be a rich kid to pick up girls!” Charlie quickly said.
“Hehe…”
Brandon couldn’t help but sneer. He had been thinking of ways to take revenge on Connor for the past few days, but he had never found an opportunity.
Now that the opportunity had finally come, how could he let Connor go?
“Mr. Guthrie, do you want me to expose Connor now?” Charlie asked Brandon excitedly.
“Don’t worry, let’s wait a little longer. I want to wait until he’s about to succeed and expose him. Only then will it be interesting!”
Brandon smiled sinisterly.
Everyone understood what Brandon meant.
On the other side, at one of the tables.
After a short exchange with Connor, Natasha realized that Connor actually had a pretty good personality, and he didn’t look too bad either.
Most importantly, Natasha felt that Connor did not have ulterior motives like the other guys. Most of the guys were always thinking about getting her into bed or having some fun with her. However, Connor did not seem to have any intention in this regard.
This also made Natasha feel that Connor was a very decent gentleman, so her impression improved.
Although Natasha would not fall in love with Connor simply because of this, at the very least, she was not averse to chatting with Connor.
When they chatted, a faint smile played on Natasha’s lips.
Connor had a good impression of her, too. However, he wasn’t sure if Natasha would still talk to him like this after she found out that he was a pauper.
Dominic saw that Connor and Natasha were getting along quite well, so he was very happy for them.
However, Cindy simply couldn’t bring herself to be happy for them.
She did not expect Natasha to get along so well with Connor. Even after chatting for so long, she still didn’t show any disgust toward him.
Cindy was a little hesitant. When they returned to the dormitory, should she tell Natasha about Connor?
Although Cindy didn’t want her roommate to know that she had a loser friend like Connor, she couldn’t bear seeing her best friend being deceived by a loser like Connor.
“Natasha, you haven’t had a boyfriend before, right?”
Dominic suddenly asked Natasha with a smile.
Natasha was stunned for a moment.
Then, she replied softly, “Yeap, I haven’t met someone to my liking, so I have been single my whole life so far…”
“You’re so beautiful; there must be a lot of guys pursuing you, right?”
Dominic grinned, then he looked at Natasha and continued, “Well, Connor is my best friend. I know him very well. He is recently single. Why don’t you two give each other a chance?”
“Dominic, what nonsense are you talking about? Natasha and Connor have only known each other for less than two hours. Why are you asking them to give each other a chance?”
Cindy remarked angrily.
Meanwhile, Dominic turned to look at Cindy. A hint of helplessness flashed across his face because he didn’t expect her to ruin the moment.
“I think the same that Connor and I have only just met. We can start as friends…”
Natasha hesitated for a moment and said softly.
“That’s true. You two have only just met today. It’s better to start as friends!”
Dominic grinned and then reached out to nudge Connor. He said in a low voice, “Connor, what are you waiting for? Quickly add Natasha on Facebook. You guys can chat when you are free…”
Natasha didn’t seem to mind. So, she elegantly took out her phone from her Gucci handbag and tapped on the Facebook app.
Connor couldn’t help but hesitate when he saw what Natasha was doing. He then took out his phone.
Connor had a good impression of this woman, Natasha Scott. After all, she was better than Mandy Hines in many aspects.
Although she couldn’t be compared to a woman like Freya Phillips, Freya didn’t seem interested in Connor. There was no need for Connor to suffer. So, he took out his phone to add Natasha on Facebook.
He planned to tell Natasha that he was penniless to test her reaction after adding her on Facebook.
If she was still willing to date him, he didn’t mind getting along with her.
But if she turned hostile and refused to acknowledge him, he wouldn’t waste his time on such a woman.
“Ah, who did I think it was? Isn’t this the King of Delivery of our university, Connor McDonald?”
Just as Connor was about to add Natasha on Facebook, a girl suddenly walked up to Connor and called out strangely.
Hearing this mocking voice, Connor was stunned, then turned to look behind him.
He realized that it was none other than his ex-girlfriend, Mandy Hines. Behind Mandy were Brandon, May, Lily, and others.
“Mandy, what are you doing here?”
When Dominic saw Mandy, he immediately knew that something was up. He quickly stepped in and spoke loudly.
“Dominic, what do you mean? You don’t own Duck. If you can come and hang out here, can’t we come to hang out, too?”
Mandy sneered and replied disdainfully.
“My family may not own Dusk, but this is our table. You are not welcome here. Please leave!”
Dominic knew that Mandy wanted to stir up trouble, so he wanted to get rid of her as soon as possible.
“Dominic, we’re all classmates. You don’t have to be so calculative!”
Brandon stood up and said with a smile.
“That’s right. You’re in such a hurry to chase us away. Are you feeling guilty?”
Lily also stood up and shouted.
Natasha, Cindy, and Tiana seemed puzzled when Mandy and the others suddenly appeared.
They didn’t know how this group of people was related to Connor..
