Chapter 300 - 300: Heart Connection

At that moment, Luo Yangyang only had one thought in her mind.

She was going to get the ring back!

Luo Yangyang put on a thick, warm down jacket and rushed out of the door like a gust of wind.

The door of the room next door was tightly shut, and not a single ray of light could be seen through the crack in the door. She did not know if Feng Sheng was asleep or not in the room.

In Feng Sheng’s bedroom, the heater was not even turned on.

In the dark and cold night, the cold wind blew gently, causing the curtains to flutter.

He leaned against the floor-to-ceiling window frame, his feet covered with cigar butts. He couldn’t even count how many he had smoked.

There was a cigar between his slender fingers. The only light in the dark bedroom came from the sparks of the cigar in his hand.

Feng Sheng narrowed his cold eyes and looked into the distance.

He stood still and watched, not even smoking his cigar. Judging from the slightly stiff posture of his reclining chair against the door, he had been standing for a long time.

Feng Sheng stood there like a statue. His cold eyes seemed to freeze, but there was a change in his expression.

He saw a white ball moving in the snow.

When he took a closer look, his cold eyes suddenly froze.

The figure in the white down jacket running on the snow in the back garden was the little thing that he was so familiar with and had held in his arms all night.

Under the moonlight, he could see everything clearly without any extra light.

Luo Yangyang ran to the approximate location where the ring might have fallen and stopped. She bent her waist and lowered her head, carefully observing the snow.

Fortunately, it had stopped snowing a few days ago. Otherwise, once the snow covered her, she might not be able to find the ring even if she turned the entire back garden over.

“Ring Ring Ring, come out quickly. Don’t hide anymore.”

The snow was white, and so was the white jade ring. Luo Yangyang bent down and stared at it for a few minutes before she felt dizzy.

Feng Sheng was still leaning against the door frame. He stared at Luo Yangyang, who was about to merge with the snow in the distance. The corners of his lips suddenly curled up.

“Little thing.” Feng Sheng’s cold and thoughtful black eyes faded away. There was a hint of affection in the corner of his eyes.

She had gone to the place where they had quarreled in the middle of the night. What else could she have done other than looking for the ring?

He pampered her so much, so he knew that the little thing wouldn’t be so heartless.

After much deliberation in the middle of the night, he also found out the problem that caused the conflict between the two of them.

He had pushed her too hard.

He shouldn’t have allowed the little thing to accept his arrangements without asking.

Although she was still young, she had her own ideas. He should not be so stubborn that she had to follow his ideas.

Even if it was for her own good and for their future, he should have discussed it with her.

The little thing’s character was originally good at forbearing and obedient. If she had not been forced into a corner, her emotions would not have rebounded so much.

“Where is it? It should be nearby.”

Luo Yangyang bent so hard that her back was aching. She straightened her back and looked at the footprints on the snow nearby. She frowned.

She had clearly searched so carefully, but why didn’t she see the ring?

Even though Feng Sheng knew that he was partly responsible for their quarrel, he was still a little angry when he thought about how Luo Yangyang had thrown the ring away on impulse.

Therefore, he was not in a hurry to find Luo Yangyang. Still wearing his black suit, he put out his cigar and went to the bathroom.

The first thing Feng Sheng did when he came out of the bathroom was walk to the window.

Seeing that Luo Yangyang was still searching for the ring in the snow, he did not bother drying his hair. He put on his coat and left..
