Chapter 1086: Pursuit, Tracking Compass!

Chapter 1086: Pursuit, Tracking Compass!

However... Shang Xia quickly realized that he was celebrating a little too early.

Just as he found a spot on a random asteroid to rest and restore his list energy, a familiar aura entered his range of detection.

“Is this a coincidence?!” Shang Xia was stunned. However, he maintained his caution and he remained on his asteroid without any intention of leaving. Instead, he observed the other party’s actions with his divine soul.

As the other party drew closer, Shang Xia quickly realized why he found the other party so familiar. It was one of the True Immortals who appeared with Yan Wujiu back when they first ran into each other.

All of a sudden, the True Immortal stopped moving.

Shang Xia was confident in his ability to conceal his aura, and he heaved a sigh of relief when he saw that the other party wasn’t close to him when he stopped. He became a lot more relaxed than before.

Shang Xia didn’t know why the other party wasn’t moving, but he didn’t dare to observe too closely for fear of being detected. He could only quietly observe while trying his best to remain hidden.

It was then that an idea appeared in Shang Xia’s mind. Since there was only 1 of them... If he caught the other party off guard, he wondered if he would be able to kill the enemy before backup arrived.

However, he managed to suppress his thoughts at the very last moment. It would be for the best if he didn’t cause any trouble at the moment.

One had to know that Shang Xia wouldn’t have any reinforcements and he didn’t have the qualifications to gamble his life with the other party at the moment.

Maintaining a half meditative state to conceal himself, Shang Xia knew that before he truly completed his rank six secret art, he would only be able to restore his inner qi using essence crystals. He brought quite a few high-level essence crystals with him and he was using them to recover as he observed.

That was right... Even though he reached the second tier of the Six Direction Realm and reached the level of Inner Fusion, he hadn’t completed his rank six secret art!

Even though it sounded unbelievable, he could already control the power of the world as he wished. He could even perfectly utilize his inner qi. He even managed to come up with 2 moves of his martial arts in the Six Direction Realm... Even so, he hadn’t fully developed his secret art!

The reason Shang Xia was able to reach his current level was because he received the blessing of the world...

However, Shang Xia also understood that increasing his cultivation through a method like that wasn’t really sustainable forever.

The Six Direction Realm was somewhat different from the Four Constellation Realm and the Five Element Realm. He required a lot of external treasures to grow in the past, but in the Six Direction Realm, the focus was placed on the transformation to his own body. Completing his secret art seemed ever more important.

That was something Shang Xia understood when he just entered the Six Direction Realm...

He had been thinking of how to deal with it ever since. Even though he had been working on it the entire time, his rank six secret art was a lot more complicated to develop than any other before it! He didn’t even have a complete idea of where to go with it and he would only gain inspiration occasionally and work on it when he got the chance.

In his current state, even though he was able to restore his inner qi by absorbing the energy contained in the Essence Crystals, he was still trying to temper every single part of his body to attempt to form a perfect system with his Six Direction Origin as its core. Even if he only managed to form a primary outline, it would be good enough.

Before he could fully absorb the energy contained in the essence crystal, changes in the space around him caused him to snap awake.

Another first tier True Immortal appeared in the region covered by his divine soul. This time, it was on the other side!

That meant that he had already been pincered by the enemy!

If he still believed that it was a mere coincidence that the other party appeared and his location wasn’t revealed, he might as well snap his neck off and give it to the other party to kick around!

The asteroid he was hiding on exploded instantly and he turned into a streak of light that traveled thousands of miles with ease. He quickly arrived in the space tens of miles away from the first True Immortal he detected.

It wasn’t as though he didn’t want to get closer. They were all True Immortals regardless, and even though he was slightly stronger than them, he couldn’t just ignore their domain!

Actually... The other party was already shocked by the fact that he appeared several tens of miles away without any warning.

That was also even after he released his domain to stop the enemy and had the assistance of his world!

A thunderous roar tore through the void and Shang Xia’s rod came crashing down.

The strike he used was the first he developed, and he had already gained near-perfect control over it.

Using it allowed him to completely suppress his enemy!

I can’t block it... I can’t... There’s no way!

That was the only thought that filled the mind of the first tier True Immortal.

Unfortunately, he couldn’t retreat, and even if he could, he wouldn’t dare! Not to mention the fact that it was so powerful that he was completely suppressed... Even if he managed to, the seal in space he placed would be completely destroyed and the opponent would be able to escape!

“True Immortal Lan, save me!” Helpless, the first tier True Immortal chose to risk it all. As he attempted to stop Shang Xia, he didn’t forget to call for help.

However, the person he called for wasn’t the other first tier True Immortal. Instead, it was the third tier True Immortal, Lan Zhengfeng!

“Stay your hand!” A dull roar came from the depths of the void. A rapidly enlarging light sphere also emerged from the void.

Indeed... It was the third tier True Immortal, Lan Zhengfeng!

Shang Xia’s heart sank. The other party really reacted too quickly!

What caused Shang Xia endless discomfort was the way the other party discovered his tracks!

Whatever it was, it wasn’t the time to think of that. He needed to break out of their encirclement in order to escape from their pursuit.

Only then would he gain enough time to think about what was going on.

Naturally... it was impossible for him to show mercy! As the rod came crashing down, Shang Xia pushed himself even further and started circulating his inner qi at a faster pace. The power the rod contained increased by 30 percent!

Hummm....

A dull buzz tore through the void, and the Void Origin of the first tier True Immortal had his domain crushed as he was blown into one of the spatial cracks that formed! A formless shockwave started to spread and any asteroid in a thousand mile radius turned to dust from the impact.

The next second, Shang Xia could feel the other first tier True Immortal rapidly closing in. However, the powerful shockwave forced him to freeze in place and he couldn’t even take a single step forward.

Only after pushing his domain to the limit and nullifying the power of the shockwave could he move again.

Of course... By the time he regained his motion, Shang Xia was no longer within the range of his divine soul.

Not daring to dally about, the True Immortal hastily rushed towards the spot where Shang Xia attacked his companion. All that could be seen was a massive region of chaotic streams and spatial fractures.

When he was still hesitating on his next move, the void was torn open and a figure emerged from within. He dragged the body of the other expert out with him. The violently fluctuating void around him returned to normal and the spatial fractures started to restore itself.

“True Immortal Lan, I...” The first tier True Immortal who arrived later quickly blamed himself. However, he was stopped before he could finish.

“You were not at fault earlier. I came late, causing True Immortal Luo to suffer serious injuries!” Lan Zhengfeng’s words caused the other party to feel a lot less guilty. Seeing his companion’s limp body in Lan Zhengfeng’s hands, he muttered, “Is Brother Luo...”

“The other party didn’t show mercy at all. True Immortal Luo’s Void Origin is seriously damaged. Even if he’s fortunate and manages to restore it, he will need 30 years or so to return to his peak state...”

The other True Immortal went pale in fright and gasped, “That person is actually so powerful...”

Lan Zhengfeng stared at him before he continued, “To be able to take one of my strikes head-on and retreat unscathed... Of course he’s strong!”

Realizing that he was speaking a little inappropriately, the other True Immortal mumbled, “True Immortal Lan, what should we do next?”

Lan Zhengfeng thought for a moment before he mumbled, “I’ll track that guy down. True Immortal Luo’s injuries are too serious and we can’t delay his treatment. You, send him to his sect in the Azure Roaming World!”

Heaving a sigh of relief silently, the other True Immortal acted as though he was regretful. “It’s a shame I cannot follow True Immortal Lan and watch you kill the foreign expert!”

Shooting him a strange glance, Lan Zhengfeng muttered, “True Immortal Luo’s Tracking Compass has been destroyed during the exchange earlier. Give me yours and send True Immortal Luo back as soon as possible! We can’t delay his treatment any further!”

Feeling a chill running down his spine when Lan Zhengfeng stared at him earlier, the other True Immortal quickly took out a strange compass and handed it over before tossing out a small boat that seemed to be carved out of wood from his sleeves. As he poured his void qi into the wooden boat, it started to grow larger and only stopped after reaching a size of 30 feet. Grabbing the injured True Immortal Luo, he started to fly through space.

Looking at their leaving figure, a strange light flashed in Lan Zhengfeng’s eyes. When they got far enough, he turned into a stream of light and flew in the direction Shang Xia left earlier.
