Chapter 501 The True Uma-Sarru Pt. 7

Chapter 501 The True Uma-Sarru Pt. 7

His arm outstretched, he shifted it into one the same size as when he was a dragon.

Complete with scales, claws, and a dangerous amount of musculature.

With great joy, he swung his fist downward and by it sailed right into the snout of the roaring Jaldabaoth.

There was a horribly loud cracking sound followed by a deluge of rust colored blood and fanged teeth.

Abaddon smiled like a demon as he sensed all of the pain he had caused his enemy.

It filled him with such a monumental joy that was almost better than sex.

…Almost.

Jaldabaoth hit the ground like an overgrown sack of potatoes; roaring obscenities and holding his fragmented snout.

Smiling, Abaddon cocked his fist back a second time and prepared to punch a hole in Jaldabaoth\'s chest that was half the size of the Empire State Building.

However, he missed the moment where Jaldabaoth activated another spell.

A glowing sigil appeared just above the body of the current Uma-Sarru like some sort of a protective shield.

But Abaddon would learn too late that it\'s true purpose was much different than the barrier from earlier.

The instant that he made contact with the sigil, his body passed through it harmlessly like he was moving through a bead door- and he disappeared from this world entirely.

With Abaddon nowhere to be seen, Jaldabaoth finally sat up as he rubbed his face.

As his broken jaw slowly began to heal, the current abyss king showed an uncharacteristically large smile before he disappeared from this plane as well.

-

Abaddon couldn\'t say exactly where he\'d ended up.

It was a world very different from any he had ever been to, though admittedly his record was only at two so far.

The sky above was permanently dark, and the land beneath him was permanently golden.

It was as if this place was dead and thriving at the same time; almost reminding one of a level from a video game.

The air was not only extremely acidic, but detrimentally humid as well.

He couldn\'t imagine anything or anyone being able to survive here.

Save for he and his dragons of course.

… And perhaps those born of the abyss.

"Do you like it, Abaddon? This world is the first to fall to my glory and it holds a special place in my hearts."

Jaldabaoth showed a remarkable propensity for hiding as he threw his voice around an open field while keeping his body out of sight.

But by this point, Abaddon was so out of it that he had only one thing on his mind.

"You have multiple hearts?" Abaddon asked the air with maddened eyes. "Do they all taste the same?"

Yaldabaoth\'s laughter echoed around this empty world for miles.

"I implore you, beast. Give your life in the pursuit of finding out."

From out of nowhere, the entire makeup of the world began to turn on Abaddon.

He thought his vision had simply become cloudy, but this was more than that.

The very world became hazy, shifting, and spun around like a damn washing machine chamber.

Everything that Abaddon was seeing was undeniably real, but that didn\'t make it any less disorienting.

A dragon\'s eyes could see through all illusions and barriers without exception, but since this was neither, he was effectively stuck.

To make matters worse, he had begun to realize that he was feeling slightly weaker than average.

A fact that was immediately taken advantage of.

Out of nowhere, claw marks were raked across his chest and sent him flying.

In midair, he was caught across his back with another brutal slash and sent clattering towards the ground; his body only staying intact by a few threads of flesh.

As soon as he hit it, a giant fist came down and buried him several inches within the golden soil.

"I hope you didn\'t think I forgot about earlier… I am of the vengeful sort after all."

From that point on, the lion-headed dragon rained down a flurry of blows that made the entire continent tremble.

At the peak of the overlord\'s anger, he opened his mouth wide and released a beam of horrible black flame onto his fallen adversary.

To ensure that his foe was not burned beyond what could be considered edible, he stopped after around a minute and peered into the crater he had created.

Abaddon still had the dragon\'s sin of pride in his body.

But even though he should have been growing stronger with every blow he suffered, the truth was that these attacks were special; in that they damaged soul and body alike.

The dragon could certainly feel it, and it didn\'t tickle either.

And then there was something about this world and it\'s atmosphere… it was weakening him by some means that he didn\'t understand yet.

And in the same breath, it was also strengthening Yaldabaoth by a creeping margin.

His enemy certainly wasn\'t this strong before they came here.

His wounds normally would have healed in under twenty seconds, but they were taking their time and dragging the process a bit.

Abaddon\'s body was hacked up quite a bit with claw marks, and he had a huge number of broken bones, bruises, and golden blood leaking from various points of trauma.

Jaldabaoth laughed hysterically as he gloated above Abaddon like the battle was already won.

His laughter only grew in intensity as he watched the dragon start to squirm as he brought himself back to his knees.

"I must admit I feel like I should thank you…"

Out of everything the abyss king was expecting Abaddon to say, that certainly wasn\'t among it.

"Oh? Are you still suicidal, little dragon? You feel grateful to me for bringing you closer to death, is that it?"

Abaddon chuckled as he spit blood onto the pavement.

"Ah… not quite. It\'s for helping me fulfill a dream…"

"Yes, yes, your new life is rather dreamlike, isn\'t i-"

"No… not that."

One of Abaddon\'s arms finally recovered enough for him to ball his hand into a fist.

"Not quite… you see, ever since I got my powers… I have always wanted to destroy a world..!"

Jaldabaoth recognized a familiar, annoying power swirling around Abaddon\'s hand, and his remaining eye went wide as can be.

"Don\'t you dar-"

Unfortunately, Jaldabaoth was too late.

Abaddon slammed the full weight of his fist down onto the ground, with no small amount of destruction magic imbued within.

If a dragon with the strength of a collapsing star wasn\'t dangerous enough, the power to destroy literal concepts from creation was certainly overkill.

The planet never stood a single chance.

At the very moment that Abaddon struck it, there was an explosion like none other he had ever witnessed.

Time seemed to function in slow motion as cracks ran along the surface and traveled all the way to the depths of the planet.

Once the planet\'s core was reached, all hell broke loose.

On the planet of eternal black and gold, blinding white light filled Jaldabaoth\'s vision.

His scaly and overgrown body felt like it was hit by a Mack truck as he was pelted with debris on top of debris.

When he finally regained his vision, he hated what he saw.

He was floating within the cold expanse of space, staring at a true wasteland.

Chunks of his first conquest floated all around him- ruined beyond repair.

"No....NOOOOO!!!"

It appeared that contrary to popular belief, one can be heard screaming out in the depths of space if they are loud enough.

On a floating asteroid, Abaddon held his stomach as he smiled at the sight of an anguished adversary.

\'Always a wonderful sight to see…\'

In the middle of his gloating, Abaddon finally felt his spine fuse itself back together while his organs returned from a liquified state.

But his energy was still too low, and it it wasn\'t coming back fast enough.

The battle still wasn\'t over, and he needed something to give himself a recharge.

At that moment, he felt a memory resurge.

One from before he had his kingdom, his family, and his new identity.

He didn\'t know if his body was strong enough to enact this on the same sort of scale as before, but he could at least do something similar.

And it would easily be the coolest thing he had ever done so far.

\'I\'m checking so many things off my bucket list today.\'

"ABADDDONNN!!! WHERE DO YOU HIDE, BEAST!?"

Jaldabaoth roared endlessly into the infinite domain surround him.

Using his tail, he smashed away any rocks that were obscuring his vision or just touching him and sparking his annoyance.

He suddenly paused on a dime and craned his head to look over his shoulder.

There, he found his enemy a fair distance away, in an unexpected position.

"ABADDONN!!!! I\'LL SEE YOU SHATTERED ACROSS THE DIMENSIONS!!"

As if he were oblivious to Jaldabaoth\'s roaring, Abaddon smiled when he finally reached his objective.

A brilliant, white, shining star.

And a particularly large one at that.

Growing into a towering seven headed dragon, Abaddon lurched forward with his center head opening his mouth.

For the first time in his new life, Abaddon ate a star completely out of existence.
