Chapter 728: The Third Dao Source!

Chapter 728: The Third Dao Source!

The words, drenched in a crimson so deep it seemed to bleed, emitted a chilling, blood-red glow. They had a piercing quality even greater than that of the Celestial Sourcecores, and perhaps only upon closer inspection could one grasp their enormity.

They appeared as four words, yet also as a mountain of blood poised oppressively over the heads of these three unexpected visitors, suffocating them with its weight.

Moon Fairy said nothing more and continued to stride toward the direction of the words.

The Great Mother and Pale Revenant followed in silence.

As the trio drew nearer, the words swelled in size, hanging over their heads like the Celestial Sourcecores shaped into letters, each as large as the Celestial Court, pulsating with a dread-inducing blood-colored power.

But Yun Xiao knew their purpose was likely not to house beings, but rather to serve as a mere signboard—a declaration of territory.

“What kind of place has an endless teleportation array at its entrance and uses four Celestial Sourcecores as its signboard?”

“How could someone have shaped four Celestial Sourcecores into the form of words?”

Despite Yun Xiao\'s extensive experience within the Great Dao Celestial Realm, he was still profoundly shaken.

The invisible oppressive force of the four bloody words weighed directly on their hearts!

“That direction…”

Quickly, the silver eyes of Moon Fairy, as well as those of the Great Mother and Pale Revenant, saw it.

At the end of their sight, right below the four bloody words, a boundless black shadow finally appeared.

This shadow was so vast that its edges were indiscernible; the words served as its label. From the perspective of Moon Fairy, it looked like an endless black wall, obscuring everything.

The whole world seemed swallowed by darkness.

A primordial, vast, eerie, and sinister celestial energy surged from that direction. This black power carried with it an inherent lament, sweeping past with the soul-chilling cries of ghosts and howls of wolves.

The Great Mother’s face turned pale, and she couldn’t help but reach out her hand to steady Pale Revenant’s head, trying to calm her own nerves.

“Don’t be afraid,” Pale Revenant said, pulling away her hand and gently clasping the Great Mother’s pinky, reassuringly.

At that moment, Moon Fairy stopped and seemed to talk to himself.

“A coffin?”

His silver eyes looked down. The one who had just mentioned the coffin

was the newly arrived Yaksha Ancestor.

“Heh.” The Yaksha Ancestor rolled its eyes, uninterested in engaging with Moon Fairy.

“No need for that monkey to say anything, I’ll say it,” the Nian quickly interjected, “Indeed, this black shadow is an immense coffin.”

Hearing this, the Yaksha Ancestor sneered, “Parrot what you hear, that’s all you can do with those cloudy eyes of yours. What can you see, mutt?”

“You’re no different. Don’t pretend. Those who know, know,” the Nian chuckled.

The Yaksha Ancestor, for now at least, held a deep aversion to it.

His crimson eyes flickered as he gazed into the black shadow and spoke lightly, "This is a Sourcecore Sanctuary shaped like a rectangle, resembling a coffin. Its form, combined with the abundant dark power of death within, makes it appear from afar like a cosmic coffin."

Yun Xiao was well familiar with the concept of a cosmic coffin.

However, unlike the ancient bronze coffin, which was genuine, this black shadow was essentially a variation of a Celestial Sourcecore, or rather, a real world.

A Sourcecore Sanctuary was akin to a special type of Celestial Sourcecore similar to the one of Naraka. When the internal structure of a spherical Celestial Sourcecore collapsed, it would transform into a Sourcecore Sanctuary. The Celestial Sourcecore\'s energy depleted quicker, creating a harsher environment for existence.

Put simply, it was the gradual death of a Celestial Sourcecore. The duration of its collapse depended on the Sourcecore Sanctuary\'s size and degree of decay; some perished quickly, while others formed new structures and endured for eons.

"Does this mean the Sixth Paths of Reincarnation here is a sanctuary similar to Naraka?" Moon Fairy murmured to himself.

The four bloody words above were the sign for the black shadow below, known as the Six Paths of Reincarnation.

"Samsara Galaxy, Six Paths of Reincarnation, a place of legend... I wonder if this place relates to rebirth." Yun Xiao gazed at the black shadow, pondering.

A rectangular Celestial Sourcecore, vast as an endless black coffin, appeared before them—mysterious, immense, eerie, and chilling!

"Hmm?" Suddenly, Moon Fairy\'s expression shifted to one of disbelief.

"What is it?" Pale Revenant asked softly.

"Nothing," Moon Fairy replied with a slight smile, "We have a target now."

The Great Mother and Pale Revenant, including the Nian and Yaksha Ancestor, were all puzzled, not understanding his cryptic comment.

In fact, as Moon Fairy approached this Sixth Paths of Reincarnation coffin sanctuary, his true body elsewhere felt the third black Primordial Coffin tremble again.

"This Six Paths of Reincarnation is a Dao Source!"

It was the third Dao Source that Yun Xiao had encountered after the Divine Pillar and Demon Continent.

The previous two Dao Sources had transformed into the Heaven Burial Sword Soul and the Prison Warden Sigil, becoming two powerful means for the Creator Immortal\'s rebirth, transcending his past life.

What of this Six Paths of Reincarnation then?

"To possess it, one must first understand it, control it, and assimilate it..."

For now, not to mention his true self was not present, the gap between Moon Fairy and this boundless black coffin was more than just a little.

"Yaksha Ancestor, how much larger is this coffin world compared to Naraka?" Moon Fairy asked earnestly.

Since Moon Fairy devoured it, bringing it here to witness this vast world, the Yaksha Ancestor\'s heart was certainly changing. Perhaps it was beginning to understand the feelings described by the Nian.

Although it had merely exchanged one prison for another, at least this human-formed prison allowed sight, movement, speech...

It was a step up from the tedious and lonely Immortal Asylum.

The Immortal Asylum was truly dreadful, with its endless silence and solitude, punctuated only by the brutal roars of other Sins of Heaven.

So, after Moon Fairy asked his question, the Yaksha Ancestor calmly replied, “About 3,000 times larger.”

“Three thousand!” Moon Fairy was somewhat taken aback.

Naraka\'s Sourcecore Sanctuary was collapsing, but it was nearly as vast as the Great Dao Celestial Realm. This meant that this coffin-shaped Six Paths of Reincarnation world was about 3,000 times the size of the Great Dao Celestial Realm!

Imagine, 3,000 Great Dao Celestial Realms combined; how vast would that be?

“No wonder I can feel the celestial energy from this world from such a distance, even though it’s wildly cold and violent, it’s still ten times denser than that of the Great Dao Celestial Realm,” Moon Fairy exclaimed in awe.

“If you could get inside, it would be at least 1,000 denser, not even on the same level,” the Yaksha Ancestor stated coldly.

“Yeah, right!” the Nian chuckled dismissively.

“Useless mutt, no one asked you,” the Yaksha Ancestor hissed.

“Silly monkey, silly monkey, with a butt for a head,” the Nian taunted.

“You stupid mutt, stooping to childish insults. I feel bad for your mother for raising such an idiot!”

"I\'m rubber, and you\'re glue…!.”

“…”

As the conflict escalated, Moon Fairy tuned out the venomous exchanges of these two Sins of Heaven.

Fighting between the eyes above and the eyes below was headache enough.

Turning back, Moon Fairy smiled at the two corpse demons and said, “We can’t return to the Great Dao Celestial Realm. But since we\'re here, let\'s try and adapt. My true self will figure out a way to deal with Lu Fan. From today, you are with me on a new mission.”

“What’s the new mission?” Pale Revenant asked, her eyes brightening, her confused heart suddenly finding direction.

Moon Fairy looked toward the boundless black shadow ahead, all six of his eyes brimming with intense purpose.

“To devour the Six Paths of Reincarnation!”

The vault of heaven stretched out, a void of bleakness. In this gray world, only the dim starlight above and the blazing Celestial Sourcecore behind illuminated the expanse.

"Yun Xiao, there! The Western Kunlun Palace lies ahead!" The Devil Eye solemnly pierced the cosmos with a beam of red light that cut through the dense smoke ahead.

"I see it too," Cao Shuo manned the helm, her tone as serious as her quickening pulse.

They both knew the imminent clash would decide the fate of all beings in the Great Dao Celestial Realm.

Through the thick smoke, Yun Xiao\'s eyes caught sight of a colossal azure bird, thrice the size of the Nine Thunders Divine Ark.

Cao Shuo turned, her gaze solemn. "The Western Kunlun Palace is guarded by the Azure Bird Mystical Array. If we attack, the celestial array will suppress our powers, weakening us."

"Oh…"

The strength of the Chaos Soul they were about to confront was unknown; charging in recklessly was a poor strategy.

However, Yun Xiao barely hesitated before instructing Cao Shuo, "Drive the Nine Thunders Divine Ark at full speed and ram it into the rear of the azure bird."

"That would tear the divine ark apart in the Azure Bird Mystical Array," Cao Shuo frowned.

"Is there a chance we could break through the celestial array?" Yun Xiao asked.

"The Nine Thunders Divine Ark is renowned for its speed. A full-speed collision might just do it," Cao Shuo responded gravely.

"Then no more words. Accelerate and ram!" Yun Xiao commanded.

"You should evacuate the ark first." Cao Shuo’s temperament was decisive.

"Do you have a plan to escape before the collision?" Yun Xiao asked earnestly.

"I can jump ship in an emergency. No big deal." Cao Shuo felt warmed by his concern and nodded.

"After you escape, stay clear of the battlefield and leave the rest to us. Don’t get close; we can’t afford to have you taken hostage," Yun Xiao cautioned.

Cao Shuo chuckled wryly at this, giving Yun Xiao a bemused look. "You silly boy, do you think I’m some headstrong young heroine? I’ve survived this long by playing it safe. I’m just the helmsman here; only a fool would rush into your high-stakes game. Sure, I\'d be lonely without my man, but death is another matter."

Yun Xiao rolled his eyes; she truly was a woman free of constraints.

"Alright, hit it!"

Yun Xiao, along with the Devil Eye, Divine Dawn, and the War Princess, said no more and evacuated the ark. They circled around to approach the Western Kunlun Palace from the side.

As the group disembarked, the Nine Thunders Divine Ark thundered to life, its celestial power surging as it propelled forward like a lightning bolt, a thunderous swordfish slicing through the sky. It flashed brilliantly as it charged towards the unsuspecting Western Kunlun Palace, which lay dormant, its energy consumption at its lowest, utterly unguarded...
