Saleen’s command was cruel. His fleet had been obstructed by the gigantic combat vessel. If they had attacked each other with long-range weapons, the dragon skeleton combat vessel might not have been its match.

The enemy had no intentions of letting him live, so Saleen did not intend to let them either.

The warriors and mages on the deck of the gigantic combat vessel had already been slaughtered by the dragon skeleton combat vessel. The deck had been torn apart and the coiled-up metal was glowing faintly.

After the demons and spirits of the dead had disembarked, the dragon skeleton combat vessel did not stop destroying the gigantic combat vessel as its dragon claws continued to swipe around. It crawled forward and soon made its way to the control cabin of the gigantic combat vessel. The window was made of crystal and the captain and mages behind it were still in shock.

The dragon skeleton combat vessel was completely controlled by the winged skeleton and his spirits. There were no human sailors at all. Saleen’s gaze became hard as he looked at the cabin through the crystal window.

The sharp dragon horn on the dragon skeleton combat vessel struck fiercely and the cabin was pierced through. The dragon horn unleashed the power that it had been harnessing and the entire cabin exploded in flesh and blood.

There was no one of significant power there!

Saleen was shocked. The gigantic combat vessel definitely possessed formidable power. If the weapons on its deck had been used for long range attacks, as far as Saleen was aware of, no combat vessels could survive. That was because the combat vessel was so huge and as a result it could carry so many weapons.

Such a combat vessel would not even have to consider the size of its weapons, only how powerful they were.

It was because the dragon skeleton combat vessel suddenly traveled at such a high speed and pounced onto the gigantic combat vessel in such a suicidal manner that it managed to successfully land on its deck. No one on the vessel could ever imagine that a gigantic object that was close to two-hundred yards long would suddenly leap up into the sky.

Impossible. Definitely impossible. There should be a grade-9 opponent in charge of such a huge combat vessel. Saleen opened his elemental eyes and searched for his target.

Although he was only a grade-8 sorcerer, he did not fear any grade-9 opponents. Since he had the winged skeleton, Eleanor, and a few Sregl Island mages, not even a grade-9 opponent would have the upper hand over them. Besides, after Saleen advanced into a grade-8 sorcerer, his water puppet has also become stronger.

The water puppet was just like another Saleen, even if it did not use crystal finger.

Saleen did not need to worry about getting injured either. He had already refined Nicholas’ equipment. A Scepter of the Fallen could quickly heal any form of injury.

Fallen divine spells of attacking nature were hard to defend against. If not for the fact that he had absolute control over Nicholas, Saleen might even fear him. Curses could not be traced. Aini lost his magic chords because he was secretly attacked by a Holy Master a while ago.

The appearance of the gigantic combat vessel did not look normal. It was one-thousand yards long and more than three-hundred yards wide. It looked swollen, its deck looked too broad and eighty percent of its cabins on top were gathered at the rear. There was huge flying equipment on the deck and it looked like it was four to five times bigger than Wings of an Elf.

Saleen was confused, but it was because he was not thinking from the enemy’s point of view. There was plenty of equipment on the deck of the gigantic combat vessel to prevent enemies from boarding, the cabins on the deck were all made from metal and they could shoot plenty of crossbow arrows. It was just that all the things were ineffective against dragon skeleton combat vessel.

When this combat vessel was designed, it never crossed their mind that their enemy’s combat vessel would fly onto their deck.

There were some powerful opponents on the deck initially, but the few black metal grand swordmasters did not manage to react in time and were all crushed to death by the dragon skeleton combat vessel. The equipment on the deck had all been swept away by the dragon tail, so when Nailisi led her people down, they no longer met with the same level of resistance.

Naturally, high-level mages could not go up to the deck. Only a few grand mages were on the deck with white-robed mages. After the attack from the grade-9 magic array, they were all either dead or injured and could no longer put up any resistance.

The winged skeleton’s mental strength was so powerful that everyone on the deck that was injured, or unconscious were all turned into spirits of the dead by him. There was no one left to control the remaining equipment on the deck.

Saleen released the water puppet and said, “Bring enough spirits of the dead with you. I don’t believe that the strong opponent on this vessel can continue to keep hiding.”

Saleen wanted to use the water puppet as a bait to lure out the strong opponent. He took out his crystal ring and put it on water puppet’s finger and said, “Don’t use crystal finger unless absolutely necessary.”

“Yes, Your Highness.” After the water puppet had recovered, it was no longer as sharp as before. A longer time would be required for the intellect to be the same again. When Saleen saw that the water puppet was answering very obediently, Saleen sighed in his heart. He was on the brink of witnessing a life being birthed from nothingness, but because of the serious damage caused by the Shenhe previously, the water puppet’s intelligence was almost completely wiped out.

It would be terribly difficult for the water puppet to become like how it originally was. Even if its intellect was back to normal, it seemed that something within the water puppet had changed forever.

The water puppet led all the spirits on the dragon skeleton combat vessel out of the cabin and onto the deck. The unique attribute of the water puppet was that it allowed Saleen to be able to see what it saw.

The dragon skeleton combat vessel was already in the middle of the gigantic combat vessel. Nailisi led the demons down to the cabins and finally met some strong opponents.

In the cabins one level below the deck, there were no soldiers except for a few low-level mages that were controlling metal puppets that were less than two yards tall. The miniature size of the puppets meant that they were designed specifically to fight within the narrow and enclosed space of the cabins.

When Nailisi saw that they were up against a group of puppets, she did not hesitate to ask the human soldiers to retreat and send forth a group of white-feathered zombies instead. On the death dimension, zombies were a strange group. Even low-level zombies were extremely strong and possessed very resilient soul flames, making them very difficult to kill.

The zombies charged forward and began to tussle with the metal puppets. The puppets were clearly not as high-level as those possessed by Saleen and Lex. They moved much slower, and if not for the fact that they were extremely strong and there were so many of them, they might not even be as powerful as a normal soldier.

Metal broke and bones cracked. The cabin was full of the foul stench of zombies and metal lubricant. There were two-hundred to three-hundred zombies up against over one-thousand metal puppets in four to five huge cabins.

“Nicholas!” Nailisi was peeved that Nicholas was not doing anything to help.

“I’m here.” Nicholas observed for a while before discovering the metal puppets’ weakness. When they were not under the control of mages, they would utilize magic eyes to observe their surroundings. The cost of making such puppets was low, but they did not have the same senses as humans, so they could only rely on their sight to fight.

Nicholas pointed his Scepter of the Fallen forward and black aura began to fill up the entire cabin.

The human soldiers that had followed Nailisi were all clad in magic equipment. Their eyes were shielded by a sheet of crystal, allowing them to see at least one-hundred yards ahead of them amongst the fog. The mages that were hiding in the cabin were no longer able to see where Nailisi and the rest were. This divine spell that Nicholas had cast was not very powerful, but just rarely used. It was called rust.

The fog was caused by the metal puppets rusting instantaneously then using water vapor to induce the metal powder within the rust. It would be difficult to dissipate the fog even by using magic.

The mages could use their senses to detect the location of their enemies, but they could no longer control the metal puppets. The components within the puppets were decomposing very quickly and were making strange sounds as they disintegrated.

The mages tried to activate the secret door within the cabin so that they could escape. They did not expect the switch of the door to be affected by the rust, causing it to stop working.

Rust was effective only on metal and was not harmful to humans. The mages all possessed elemental shields, so they would not be harmed even for an instant.

“Nicholas, let’s go further down and not stay here too long,” Nailisi said calmly. Regardless how many rooms they had searched on that level just beneath the deck, all they found were soldiers and puppets and not a single powerful opponent.

Nailisi wanted to kill at least one grade-9 opponent while she was in peak condition.

Nicholas was helpless. When he hit his Scepter of the Fallen forcefully on the ground, a black ring of light lit up and a hole that was three yards long in diameter appeared under his feet.

“Down!”

Nailisi commanded the demons down to the second level. She took one last look at the first level and saw that the mages were hanging onto their magic shields for their lives, and not only were they unable to leave, they did not dare to break through the line of zombies either.

When matched up against death mages, elemental mages usually tried to lengthen the distance between them in case they were snuck up on by the spirits of the dead summoned by the death mages. Many spirits fought similarly to grand swordmasters, so in a combat over a short distance, elemental mages were no match for death mages.

Nailisi thought for a moment before turning herself into a spirit of the dead, then followed the demons down to the cabins on the second level.

After she advanced, her powers as a spirit of the dead were no different from that of the Three Kings. The only difference was that the appearance of Nailisi’s spirit was that of a three-faced bone demon.

Three-faced demons looked like skeletons, but were much more powerful, and had often advanced into the level of Kings on the death dimension. When Nailisi transformed into a three-faced bone demon, there were three faces on her head that allowed her to see in all directions. Her hands turned into gigantic skeletal claws and a sharp and short skeletal tail appeared at her back.

When Nailisi descended into the cabin on the second level, the corpses of two demons flew towards her. She was taken by surprise. She did not want the demons to be sacrificing their lives for no reason. More than one-hundred demons were retreating quickly as a Rotting Lizard that was more than six yards long dashed forward.

It was a middle-aged man dressed in a long white shirt that was killing the demons. There was an air of arrogance about the man. He pointed his long sword forward and the grade-6 Rotting Lizard turned into dust from his silver sword aura.

A silver grand swordmaster? In such a narrow and enclosed cabin, it would not be easy to deal with a silver grand swordmaster. Nailisi laughed coldly and said, “Nicholas, give me three seconds.”
