Chapter 111: Come, I'll show you something
An elegant figure—shorter than him but nearly as tall—materialized in front of him. She floated in the darkness and looked at him with a hand on her chin, deep in thought. Reol'ran's Will looked as beautiful as her main body. She was formed using one of her main body's abilities and the Will sustained itself using Mark's Mindpower.
It was a way for her to keep in contact with Mark even while her main body was in slumber. Her mind was awake, her will was sharp, and her body encased in an icy slumber.
He looked at her stunning figure.
She wore a simple but elegant, flowing dress of a girlish cut that came down to her knees. Like her white hair, it faded slightly in color at the very end and became translucent. Her feet, hands, and face were crisply distinct. Yet, the most striking part of all was her amethyst eyes framed with white and thick eyelashes and white brows.
The glistening pupils seemed to contain roiling mist buried beneath them.
"Had enough?" she asked, waving her hand in front of his eyes.
She brought her face close to his own. Her eyebrows and even her eyelashes were white, and this combination of color would have made most girls look fragile and weak. But her somewhat tanned skin made it so that she didn't look fragile, but more like a warrior instead—which she truly was.
"...You look more beautiful than I remember you to be," he praised.
Reol'ran folded her arms over her chest and observed him, a smile gracing her lips. There was a sort of elegant poise to even her slightest actions. The poise of elegance that was inborn.
She said: "You have certainly changed a lot since the last time you visited your Soul Space, too."
"I have?"
Curious, Mark vanished and appeared near the Violet Mirror which was like a small sun in this dark world. He looked into it at his reflection. Inside his soul space, he had never looked like his demonic self. Here, he had always looked like his human self from Earth.
In the soul space, he appeared as his own mental image of himself after all. His true soul.
How did he look now?
He looked different.
Like a mix of both his human and demon features. On top of his head, two obsidian horns stood majestically. Two sharp brows stood above his eyes, while golden pupils calmly stared forward with a sort of devilishness that seemed ready to do a hundred tricks. He had a sharp jawline that seemed to just cut like a blade, too. His hair was grayish.
He indeed looked like a perfect mix of his demonic self from this life and his human self from the previous.
Reol'ran materialized out of thin air and stood beside him, she and he had a similar skin color—a fairer tan. She was also shorter than him by more than 10 centimeters—about 180 centimeters.
They both looked into the mirror and Reol'ran smiled.
"Not half bad, we really do look like a match made in heaven," she said.
Mark looked at her form and curious, he touched Reol'ran's figure—his hand passed through her. She took a deep breath and released that right after, her face had a weird cringe to it.
"Don't do that, it feels... weird…"
Mark put his hand near her crotch area but that also just went through her. She looked at him with a silent glare that seemed to contain a thousand misgivings.
"I am a Tier 4 being, show some respect at least. And I am yo—"
Touching the area near her chest, he asked, "So, why did you call me here?"
She squealed.
The warrior of a woman didn't know what she was supposed to do in a scenario like this and just teleported far away near another source of light. She seemed flustered. There was even a reddish tint to her face.
A flustered warrior!
She said seriously, "Don—Don't do that. Okay? It's not fun, it's too tickly. I can't even itch when my main body feels this phantom itch. And I brought you here for a reason, not to joke around."
"Yeah, you said you wanted to show me something…"
Mark nodded with a playful smile and turned to look at the Violet Mirror once more.
This time, he also checked his own stats as a habit.

He read through the entire thing in a flash and smiled. Yuri surpassing him so soon had made him a bit insecure about his own pace but he couldn't help but feel that what he now had was worth all the effort. Not only his strength—but also everything he got because he walked this path. Abilities and women included.
His stats were very hard to look away from.
It looked so beautiful.
Reol'ran appeared beside him once more, somewhat annoyed. "It is becoming quite nice but don't grow too cocky. Let me show you what I wanted to do now, follow me. Don't daddle around like a fool."
