Chapter 654 654:- Bleak Atmosphere
Chapter 654 654:- Bleak Atmosphere
Once the hole on his wing had healed, Aditya transformed back to his human form. But that did not mean, all of his injuries had magically disappeared. He was still seriously injured.
But once he had transformed back to his human form, Julia, Riya, Alicia, and other girls carefully cleaned his body before placing him on his bed to rest.
As soon as Aditya returned back to the Dragon Palace, the wounds on his body rapidly began healing. Even without any healing potion or healing pills, Julia estimated that Aditya would be able to heal all of his injuries within 13 to 15 days at most.
Fortunately, Riya still had two more Dragon Grass with her. Julia had used one of the Dragon Grass to make a special Healing potion. As drinking the healing potion, Aditya\'s wounds began recovering even faster than before.
"I have fed him the special healing potion that I made. All of his wounds should heal within 2 to 3 days. He should wake up tomorrow." Julia said in a low tone. The Goddess was sitting next to Aditya and was staring at his unconscious face.
"I see." In times like this, Adam did not know what to do. He wasn\'t sure how he could comfort his daughter.
For Adam, fighting an army of goblins was much easier than dealing with such situations.
He was very awkward in such situations. But that did not mean he didn\'t wish to do anything.
Adam looked at his wife who was standing with him.
Sophia nodded her head with a small smile.
Julia felt her mother\'s hand on her left shoulder.
"Don\'t worry, everything will be okay." But Julia did not reply.
"You\'re not weak. You\'re not a burden to him." A mother could understand what her child is worried about.
"Hmmm...!!" Julia just nodded her head.
"I have some important do to finish back at home. You stay here with Julia. I will return within a few hours." During this time of the year, Adam is usually very busy. Even if he wanted, he cannot afford to stay here for too long.
"Alright."
After Adam left the room, Sophia sat next to her daughter and began talking to her about many things.

In another part of the Dragon Palace,
Riya opened her eyes. The first thing that she saw after opening her eyes was the familiar-looking ceiling of her bedroom. The next second, she quickly remembered what had happened to Aditya. Remembering this, she instantly sat up.
She was about to remove the blanket covering her but then Amelia stopped her.
"Relax...!!!"
"Mom....!!! Where is he? How is he doing?" Riya asked. Her tone was slightly desperate.
"Don\'t worry. He is fine. Julia has fed him a Special healing potion that she made from The Dragon Grass."
"According to her estimation, he should wake up within the next 24 hours. So you should rest." Amelia gently said.
"I can still use my powers to accelerate his healing speed." Riya was about to get up. Amelia once again stopped her. She put her hand on Riya\'s shoulder and made her.
"You already have done more than enough. Besides, you haven\'t even recovered all of your exhausted Mana. First, take some rest then you can heal him."
Riya was so exhausted from healing him that she fell asleep as soon as sat on the chair. Amelia was the one who carried RIya to her room.
Sigh....!!!
Amelia secretly sighed in relief seeing Riya finally calming down.
Amelia knew just how crazy her daughter was for Aditya. She was afraid that after waking up, her daughter would exhaust herself again while trying to heal him. When it comes to things related to Aditya, it was extremely difficult for Amelia to change her daughter\'s mind.
Riya became silent for a few seconds before she raised her head and looked at Amelia. "Mom, is there any way for me to become even stronger?" Despite being Mid-5th-order, Riya had the power to defeat any Peak 5th-order cultivator. Yet, she wasn\'t satisfied with her power.
Being with Aditya, she is reminded again and again that no matter how powerful she is, it never was enough. Riya knew that she could never reach Aditya\'s strength. He was only a beginner 4th-order cultivator, yet he was so much stronger than her. And in the future, the power gap between them will only keep increasing as his cultivation progresses.
In the race to get the Dragon Grass, instead of fighting by his side, she had become his liability. Even today, while Aditya fought the Hydra, she and others had once again become his liability. Riya felt that this must end.
She already had accepted the fact that she could never reach his height. But Even if she cannot become as strong as Aditya, she at least hopes to be strong enough to not become a liability when he fights.
Sigh.....!!!
Hearing Riya\'s question, Amelia sighed. She could also understand her daughter\'s thirst for power. But what could she do?
"To be honest, even I am not sure what kind of training could make you even stronger."
"I have already taught you everything that I know."
Hearing Amelia\'s answer, Riya was disappointed. But this did not mean that she had given up completely.
"I know a way that you could use to get even stronger." It was Lilith\'s voice.
The next second, Lilith mysteriously appeared in Riya\'s room.
"I did not mean to eavesdrop on both of your conversations. But I just happened to pass by. I couldn\'t control my curiosity." Unlike other times, when Lilith would be focused on provoking Amelia, this time, Lilith sounded really serious.
Amelia wasn\'t too pleased to see Lilith interrupting their mother-and-daughter moment. But she did not say anything. Since Lilith was here to give useful advice to her daughter. For today, Amelia controlled her hostility.
"How can I become stronger?" Riya\'s eyes were burning in determination.
"I can point out your goal, but you need to figure out how to reach it yourself." Riya nodded her head, signaling Lilith to continue speaking. Amelia also curiously listened.
"You\'re already stronger than an average cultivator. The only way that you can become even stronger would be by figuring out a way to reduce your Mana Consumption and increase the damage of your attacks."
"You could already recover your Mana reserve by draining Mana from other cultivators but what are you going to do when you fight a single strong opponent? At that time, this trick of yours might not work. So focus on decreasing your Mana consumption and increasing your attack Damage."
"Make your attacks more lethal."
"More potent!!"
Riya nodded her head in understanding.
"Thank you, Aunty."
"There is no need to thank me, dear. Since we are going to be sisters in the future, it would be best if you stopped calling me Aunty." Hearing this Amelia nearly coughed out blood.
\'Now that Lilith has mentioned it, if Lilith does marry Aditya, wouldn\'t that mean, she is also going to become Riya\'s sister and my stepdaughter?\'In this scenario, Lilith would not become Amelia\'s stepdaughter through her marriage to Aditya; instead, she would be Amelia\'s daughter-in-law.
Just thinking this, Amelia felt her head was spinning.
Her lifelong rival and bitter enemy is going to become her future daughter-in-law. \'Is she okay with this?\' Amelia couldn\'t help but think.
But when she raised her head to look at Lilith.
Lilith left with a wink towards Amelia.
Clearly from that wink, Amelia understood her answer. \'That bitch is enjoying every single second of this.\' Amelia gritted her teeth.

In Alicia\'s room,
"Here, drink some tea and calm yourself." Alicia offered a cup of herbal tea to Lara who had come to her room.
Lara took the cup and sniffed the tea. The strong smell of the herbs filled her nose, making her feel more relaxed. Then, she took a small sip. The tea was very hot, but it tasted surprisingly good. She couldn\'t help but feel a bit shocked by how nice the flavor was.
"How is it?" Alicia asked as she sat down opposite Lara while holding a cup of the same tea.
"It\'s good...!!!" Lara was surprised.
Vampires aren\'t able to enjoy tea or any kind of drink like other races are able to. As a result, Vampires aren\'t that fond of tea or juices.
It was because, other than blood, any other type of liquid tastes blend in their mouth.
Lara does not have a habit of drinking tea. But occasionally, she would drink one or two cups when she was chatting with others. Lara mostly drank normal tea because of its smell. Even though she couldn\'t taste anything, at least, she could enjoy the amazing aroma of tea.
But the tea that Alicia gave her was different. For the first time in her life, Lara was able to experience how tea tasted.
"What kind of tea is this?" Lara couldn\'t help but help. Lara found the tea really enjoyable.
"It\'s a special kind of tea that I have asked my subordinates to make. This tea has Cocoa mixed in it. This is the reason why this tea tastes so good to Vampires." Alicia explained as she took a sip.
"Really.....!!"
"Yes!!! Since you have given me positive feedback, I guess, I will start a mass production of this tea for the Vampires." By doing that, Alicia would be able to further expand her tea-
selling business and make more profits.
Lara was about to do something but Julia spoke first. "Don\'t worry, I will hand a supply of this special tea to Watson so that you can enjoy this special anytime you want."
"Thank you, Sister." Lara nodded her head with a smile.
"So Lara, why are you here? Do you need anything from me?" Alicia asked with a somewhat stiff smile on her face.
Hearing this, Lara put the teacup on the table and honestly replied. "Lara is worried about Aditya.
"What\'s there to be worried about? Just relax. Now that everything is over. Aditya will recover within a few days."
Lara noticed as Alicia was saying these words, she wasn\'t looking at Lara. Instead, she was looking outside through the window.
"Sister Alicia, you\'re also worried about Aditya. Aren\'t you?" Lara asked with a small smile.
"Worried? Of course, not!! Why I would be worried?" Alicia felt too embarrassed to admit the truth.
Hearing this Lara smiled. "Sister Alicia is embarrassed."
"I am not.....!!" Alicia quickly replied. Her voice was slightly louder.
But seeing Lara giggling, Alicia realized that there was no use in hiding it.
Alicia just nodded her head.

Scene Change______
As for Sasha, the Goddess kept herself distracted by taking a few Assassination missions. After making sure that Aditya was alright, the Goddess left. Before leaving she said that she was going to return the next morning or before then.
Sasha was frustrated. She was frustrated because of not being able to help Aditya and just watched as her man got seriously -
injured while fighting that Hydra. Just like Riya, Sasha also felt the need to increase her strength.
She wanted to take out her frustration on someone so taking a few assassination missions was definitely the right choice.
As Aditya was still unconscious, the atmosphere in the Dragon -
Palace looked bleak. However, that did not last long.
As Aditya woke up the next day.
