Chapter 254: The Appearance of a Pseudo-Legendary
"Flygon, what are you trying to convey?" Yuga was truly perplexed.
Seeing Yuga's bewildered expression, The Great Flygon decided to nudge him and carried him onto its back, then took off.
The Great Flygon carried Yuga out of the Ecopark, ascended into the sky, and headed towards the outskirts of Verdanturf Town.
At first, when The Great Flygon hastily flew out of the YoYo Day Care, the trainers in town assumed there was another troublemaker causing problems. It wasn't until they saw The Great Flygon fly out of Verdanturf Town that they collectively breathed a sigh of relief.
Yuga didn't understand where The Great Flygon was taking him, but he knew it had to be urgent for it to be in such a hurry.
The Great Flygon guided Yuga to a rocky area, then placed him on the ground and gestured for him to follow.
"Flygon, where are we going?" Yuga was highly curious about why The Great Flygon had brought him here.
The Great Flygon turned its head and let out a cry, signaling for Yuga to follow.
Yuga followed The Great Flygon to the entrance of a cave, where The Great Flygon called out into the darkness.
"Ah-woo!"
Soon, a response echoed from inside the cave.
There was a Pokémon inside the cave! Yuga was surprised.
After the response, The Great Flygon proceeded into the cave, and Yuga silently followed.
The cave was incredibly spacious, and even with The Great Flygon's massive size, there was no sense of crowding.
The cave wasn't deep, and after a short walk with The Great Flygon, they reached the end. In the shadows, a Pokémon of equally massive size was revealed: a Dragonite.
Upon seeing this Pokémon, The Great Flygon instinctively lowered its body in a show of respect.
With The Great Flygon no longer obstructing his view, Yuga could finally see the Dragonite clearly. It appeared to be much larger than ordinary Dragonite.
This Dragonite looked extremely weakened. Its skin was charred all over, as if it had been roasted by flames, making it impossible to discern its original color. Its eyes betrayed a profound weariness.
When this Dragonite saw the human in front of it, its pupils constricted for a moment but quickly returned to calmness.
It sensed the blessing of the Forest God emanating from the human before it. No Pokémon would bear ill will towards the Forest God.
"Ah-woo!"
The Dragonite called out to The Great Flygon nearby.
The Great Flygon responded.
Although Yuga couldn't understand their communication, it was evident that they were exchanging information.
During this moment, Yuga used his Insight ability to examine the Dragonite before him.

Yuga didn't know if Legendary Pokémon had levels, but he believed this Dragonite couldn't be far from being a Legendary Pokémon.
This Dragonite was much stronger than the Champion-level Lucario he had previously encountered. Its aptitude, level, and moves were all overwhelmingly superior.
Yuga believed that if this Dragonite were to face the Latias they previously encountered, it might give Latias a tough battle. However, Yuga could clearly sense that the Dragonite's life force was gradually diminishing, and its injuries seemed severe.
After a brief exchange between The Great Flygon and the Dragonite, The Great Flygon nudged Yuga with its head.
Yuga asked The Great Flygon, "Are you suggesting that I save this Dragonite?"
The Great Flygon nodded in response. It had always known that its owner was a highly capable human. It believed that he could save this Dragonite, the king of Dragon-type Pokémon.
Yuga observed the Dragonite's injuries and felt somewhat helpless. He had rushed out without Chimecho, Florges, or even any medicinal items. Moreover, he didn't think that ordinary treatments would be effective for the Dragonite's condition. The fact that an opponent had inflicted such injuries on such a formidable Dragonite hinted at the adversary's immense power.
Just then, Yuga noticed that golden electricity began to emanate from the Dragonite's body, filling the cave. He was taken aback by the sudden change.
From this electricity, Yuga sensed a profound pressure that left him struggling for breath.
"Is the Pokémon that battled Zapdos a few days ago you?" Yuga asked in astonishment.
The weakened Dragonite nodded in response.
Indeed, only a Legendary Pokémon like Zapdos could have inflicted such injuries on this Dragonite. Only such a Pokémon had the right to challenge Zapdos.
Despite its defeat, it could take pride in the battle.
However, what Yuga didn't know was that the Dragonite hadn't battled Zapdos to challenge it but for another reason.
"I'm sorry, but I'm powerless to heal your injuries," Yuga said with regret in his tone.
"Flygon..." The Great Flygon cried anxiously upon hearing Yuga's words.
The Dragonite itself had no significant reaction. It was well aware of the extent of its injuries. The electric energy left by Zapdos within its body was challenging to remove—it was the ower of a deity.
The Dragonite shifted its wounded body slightly and gently placed a small, injured Pokémon in front of Yuga.
It was a Dratini!
This Dratini, like the Dragonite, had suffered severe injuries, with its body covered in charred patches and its vitality The Greatly diminished.
This must be the Dragonite's offspring.
Yuga asked the Dragonite, "Do you want me to save Dratini?"
The Dragonite responded with a nod. Despite knowing that these injuries were challenging to heal, it hoped that the human before it, who had received the blessing of the Forest God, could help save its child.
Yuga approached the Dratini, touched its body, and immediately felt a strong surge of electricity winding around his fingers, causing him to shudder involuntarily.
Quickly retracting his hand, Yuga marveled at the power of Zapdos, even in the residual electricity. However, the injuries on the Dratini seemed less severe than those on the Dragonite. At least, Yuga didn't sense the same overwhelming pressure that lingered around the Dragonite due to the residual Zapdos's energy.
