Chapter 321: Arrangements
Chapter 321: Arrangements
By now, the main Ecopark in the Ecopark was nearly empty. Most Grass-type Pokémon had moved to the Flower Sea, which was more suitable for them. Flying-type and terrestrial Pokémon enjoyed the vast Grassland, where Flying-types could soar and terrestrial Pokémon could frolic to their heart\'s content. Even the Linoone now resided in the dense forest near the Heart Lake Island\'s, becoming neighbors with the Greninja. Their extended training together had turned them into great friends!
Upon Yuga\'s arrival at the Grassland sub-Ecopark, he found Houndoom and Ninetales resting beneath a lactation tree with their Fire-type Pokémon. Nonchalantly, they lay in the shade while Meowths dozed on the branches above them.
Seeing Yuga, both Houndoom and Ninetales rushed over joyfully. After observing the Pokémon following Yuga, they understood that new members had joined the Ecopark.
Yuga introduced the new Fire-type Pokémon, which included Rapidash, Ponyta, Typhlosion, Houndour, and Camerupt, to Ninetales. He encouraged them to explore the Grassland restoration area and adapt to the environment.
Rapidash and Ponyta were thrilled upon seeing the expansive Grassland. Their enthusiasm was evident as they eagerly prepared for an exhilarating race.
Subsequently, Yuga introduced the two Flareons to the Eevee family living in the Grassland. The entire Eevee family gave the two newcomers a warm welcome.
This was the first time the Flareons realized they belonged to such a diverse family with various evolutions.
Next, Yuga brought Lotad and Surkrit to the Grassland Lake. The Marshtomp in the lake were leisurely swimming, but upon noticing Yuga\'s arrival, they swam energetically to the shore to greet him.
Yuga gestured towards Lotad and Surkrit, saying, "Starting today, they will also be living here. You, as the elders here, must take good care of them, alright?"
All five Marshtomp simultaneously nodded in agreement. The leader of the group waved at Lotad and Surkrit, signaling them to join in the water.
With a leap, the two Surkrit entered the lake and floated on the water\'s surface. The two Lotad, however, cautiously tested the water\'s surface with their front paws and accidentally fell in. After resurfacing, they looked left and right, reassured by the safety of the water, and began to swim happily.
After settling Lotad and Surkrit, Yuga found the Swellow (Earlier), who was responsible for managing the Flying-type Pokémon. The Swellow (Earlier) immediately became tense upon seeing the three new Swellow, fearing that its position might be threatened. Without further ado, it engaged in a skirmish with the newcomers, firmly establishing its dominance and putting them in their place.
Yuga didn\'t object to this because it made managing the group more convenient.
Henceforth, the Swellow (Earlier) became the leader of the Flying-type Pokémon in the Ecopark, while the Honchkrow remained the true mastermind behind the scenes. After all, who could blame the Swellow (Earlier) for being wary of it? (Henceforth referred to as the Leader Swellow)
Watching Leader Swellow solemnly disciplining the three new Swellow, Yuga chuckled, shook his head, and left.
The last ones needing placement were Ariados and Ursaring.
However, Yuga didn\'t put them in the Grassland sub-Ecopark. Instead, he took them to the Desert sub-Ecopark.
In the Desert sub-Ecopark, there were three oases. Two of them were occupied by the Gligars and Flygon, respectively. Only the middle oasis was home to the Snorlax. Yuga decided to place Ariados and Ursaring there.
When Yuga arrived, he found Snorlax still fast asleep under a fruit tree. He gently patted its soft belly and called out to it, but there was no response. Yuga had no choice but to let it be.
Since Yuga had severed Snorlax\'s sweet honey supply, it had lost all enthusiasm for life, spending much more time sleeping than before.
Seeing that Snorlax remained undisturbed, Yuga turned to Ariados and Ursaring, saying, "You two can settle down here comfortably. As for it, we don\'t need to bother with it."
Both Ursaring and Ariados nodded, looking around at the fruit-laden trees. They were very pleased with the environment here, knowing they wouldn\'t have to worry about food and drink anymore.
Wild Pokémon often fretted over food in the wilderness, considering how to fill their bellies as their top priority.
So, seeing an oasis filled with food everywhere, both Ariados and Ursaring had tears in their eyes. For the first time, they realized how fortunate it was to be tamed by humans.
Ursaring happily embraced its child, found a large tree, and made it their home. The Ecopark had stable weather conditions, so it was suitable for living anywhere.
Initially, Yuga wanted the Miltank family to take care of Ursaring\'s child since they had experience. Still, Ursaring refused, insisting on guarding its child itself, possibly due to the trauma of it being taken away once before.
Ariados gracefully leaped onto a tree and began spinning silk to create a web, preparing to establish a residence in the fruit trees.
Seeing both Pokémon settled, Yuga turned and left.
However, Yuga didn\'t hurry; instead, he went to visit the territory of the Gligars to check on their leader, Gliscor, and its three wives.
Yuga\'s arrival received a warm welcome from Gliscor and the "Queens."
( Note : it called queen because the chinese name for Gliscor is Scorpion King )
Yuga carefully examined the conditions of Gliscor and the Queens and was relieved to see that they were all doing well.
The Miltank family took great care of them, and while the Queens hadn\'t become pregnant yet, their physical conditions had improved to varying degrees. It seemed they had consumed quite a bit of Moomoo Milk.
Since they had just returned from their adventure the day before, Yuga didn\'t ask the Pokémon to train today. Instead, he gave them a day off.
The Flower Sea Trio—Florges, Vivillon, and Chimecho—returned to the Flower Sea together. Absol lounged under the Weather Tree in the main Ecopark, enjoying some rare leisure time. Dragonair flew back to the central lake on the island and dived into the deep waters.
Charmander on the Grass, watched as one companion after another departed. It gazed at Yuga with teary, watery eyes, looking pitiful.
Charmander stared at Yuga, and Yuga stared back at it without moving. Finally, Charmander couldn\'t help itself, ran up to Yuga, and hugged his leg tightly, refusing to let go.
After some consideration, Yuga sighed.
Charmander had recently left its mother and was still young, at an age when it loved sticking close to others. It seemed like Yuga would have to spend more time with it.
During this period, wherever Yuga went, he had a little tag-along following closely behind him.
