Chapter 410: Eevee
Chapter 410: Eevee
There were Umbreon, Vaporeon, Jolteon, Sylveon, Espeon, two Flareon, and three Eevee.
"What\'s going on, little ones?" Yuga smiled, addressing the Pokémon.
"Umbreon," said Umbreon, stepping forward and pointing its front paw towards the three Eevee standing in front of Yuga. It seemed like they wanted to convey something.
Currently, Umbreon was the strongest among the Eevee family, serving as their leader. So, they probably had a request for Yuga, which was why they had sent their leader to speak.
Unfortunately, Yuga\'s Celebi Blessing ability to communicate with Pokémon through Telepathy wasn\'t quite perfected yet, so he couldn\'t easily understand them.
Seeing that Yuga was confused by their gestures, Umbreon started to get a bit impatient. Thankfully, Yuga had brought Chatot with him, which helped clarify what they wanted to say.
It turned out that they were concerned about the evolution of the three Eevee.
Many of the Pokémon in the Ecopark had already evolved. However, two of the Eevee in question were among the first arrivals at the Ecopark. Seeing that other Pokémon who arrived later had evolved, they felt a sense of urgency. That\'s why they brought their older siblings to "negotiate" with Yuga.
Two of the three Eevee had previously agreed to evolve into Leafeon and Glaceon, but their evolution conditions were unique, causing a delay. Leafeon required evolving near moss-covered rocks, while Glaceon needed to be near ice-covered rocks.
(Note: In the eighth generation, Leaf Stone and Ice Stone can be used for evolution, but this story maintains the old generations evolution methods.)
However, not just any place with moss or ice-covered rocks would work. It had to be a location with extremely concentrated Grass and Ice type energy.
These types of locations were rare in Hoenn, but they were more common in Sinnoh. It was in the Sinnoh region that these two Eevee forms were first discovered.
"If you want to evolve, you\'ll have to leave home for a while. Are you two okay with that?" Yuga squatted down and asked the two Eevee with ribbons around their necks.
"Eevee!" "Eevee!" The two Eevee nodded in agreement, indicating that they were fine with it.
Yuga let out a sigh. It looked like he would have to ask Flint for help. He didn\'t have the time to make a special trip to Sinnoh.
Fortunately, Flint was constantly traveling around Sinnoh, so asking him for assistance should be feasible.
Yuga explained the situation to the Eevee, and they didn\'t oppose the idea of accompanying Flint for some time.
"Now, what about you?" Yuga turned his attention to the third Eevee, which had joined the Ecopark later. Yuga hadn\'t asked it what form it wanted to evolve into.
"Eevee! Eevee!" The Eevee excitedly pointed at Vaporeon, expressing its desire.
"You want to evolve into Vaporeon?"
This Eevee nodded and then walked over to the Vaporeon, gently rubbing its head against the Water-type Pokémon. The Vaporeon responded happily, returning the affectionate gesture.
Yuga now understood; it was all about love! Even if your evolved forms are different, does that really matter in a relationship? Yuga couldn\'t help but feel amused. "So, you like someone and want to evolve to match them?"
But regardless of their unique relationship desires, Yuga gave them a thumbs-up in his mind. "You sure know how to play this game!"
This particular Eevee was quite selective in choosing its partner. Vaporeon was one of the strongest Pokémon in the Eevee family, it has a rare blue potential among them, alongside Umbreon and Jolteon.
Once Yuga had resolved the Eevees\' requests, he heard a voice in his mind, indicating a new task had been triggered.
[ Congratulations, host, for triggering the task: \'Perfect Ten.\' ]
[ Description: The Eevee family consists of ten members. How can three remain unevolved? A perfect ten is a complete family reunion.]
[ Reward: Universal Ice-type Pokéblock formula. ]
Yuga couldn\'t help but smile. The system was offering another opportunity!
This task wasn\'t particularly challenging; it was mostly a matter of spending some time. Yuga exited the Ecopark with a sense of accomplishment, intending to contact Flint to help with the evolution process and order a Water Stone.
However, as soon as he left the Ecopark, before he could even call Flint, Suzuki Koen stopped him.
"What\'s going on, Sister Koen?" Yuga asked, curious.
Suzuki replied, "Three guests have arrived at the shop, saying they want to see you. They\'re waiting in the meeting room."
"Someone wants to see me? Three people! Who could it be?" Yuga wondered aloud, as he headed towards the meeting room.
When he entered the room, Yuga was met with three unexpected faces: Genos, Butler, and Diane.
Yuga wasn\'t surprised that Butler had found his way to YoYo Day Care, given his role as an information broker. Yuga completely ignored Genos and, with a cold smile, sat down, addressing Butler and Diane, "I never expected you two to have the audacity to appear before me. Aren\'t you afraid I\'ll just kill you?"
To Yuga\'s harsh words, Butler wore a deeply ugly expression. If Diane wasn\'t holding him back, he might have angrily overturned his chair.
"Cough, Mr. Shimizu, there\'s no need for such hostility. We came today to discuss something with you," Genos interjected, realizing the tense atmosphere.
"Mr. Genos, did you bring them here?" Yuga finally turned his gaze towards Genos.
Seeing that Yuga wasn\'t being polite, Genos didn\'t take offense. As the head of the White Light Intelligence Bureau, he was well aware of Yuga\'s relationship with Mr. Kuni\'o. Furthermore, Mr. Kuni\'o hadn\'t kept his association with Yuga a secret, making it easy for the White Light Intelligence Bureau to gather information.
"Mr. Shimizu, please don\'t be so quick to anger. They\'ve come today to seek reconciliation with you," Genos replied with a forced smile.
"Are you saying you understand the situation between them and me?" Yuga asked.
"I have some knowledge of it," Genos sighed. He couldn\'t understand why Butler would provoke Yuga when he had nothing to do. In his opinion, Butler was digging his own grave. If it weren\'t for a favor he owed Butler, he wouldn\'t be involved in this mess at all.
Originally, Butler wanted to use this favor to beg Genos to invest in his experiment, but now he is using this favor to beg Genos to come to Yuga for reconciliation.
