Chapter 115: The Battle Ends (Edited)

Something amazing happened. Even Axel didn\'t know what it was. Pure dark energy started to revolve around Shedinja and then it expanded and reached Charizard. Now, Charizard was covered with dark energy.

Shedinja then used \'Hypnosis\' again. This time \'Hypnosis\' seemed to have an effect on Charizard. It was a bit drowsy and its senses were starting to get dull.

Shedinja then used \'Shadow ball\'. It had just learned \'Shadow ball\' a couple of days ago after the fight with Flint. So, the mastery of Shadow ball was not very high. But when the \'Shadow ball\' touched the dark energy that was covering Charizard, its power seemed to increase at an exceptional rate.

But no matter how powerful \'Shadow ball\' became, it didn\'t have much of an effect on Charizard. Shedinja was a rare ranked Pokemon but Charizard was a master ranked Pokemon. The difference of 6 ranks could not be met even by the most powerful moves.

Charizard was still angry but Alakazam came from behind and put it to sleep. Oak then withdrew his Pokeball. The battle was already over when Charizard decided to attack Shedinja.

"The game got a lot more interesting than I thought. I am sorry for the sudden change but Charizard had a soft spot for its dragon types.", said Oak while laughing.

\'Soft spot?? Marcus was going to be toast.\', thought Axel loudly.

"Anyways, you have passed the test and now you are formally my disciple.", Oak.

"So, I have become your disciple?", asked Axel to confirm again.

"Yes.", said Oak with a genuine smile.

Axel then got drowsy and fainted on the spot. It was too much pressure for Axel to hold it in. He was only holding it with pure will. Shedinja was also very tired from the new move that it just pulled out. But it was vigilant from the new people and Charizard.

Oak then said in a reassuring tone, "Don\'t worry. You guys are in safe hands."

Just as Shedinja heard it, its eyes started to slowly close and it also fainted. Fighting a master rank Pokemon was too much for a rare ranked Pokemon. Even if Charizard\'s attack didn\'t affect Shedinja and most of it was dodged, the very presence of a master ranked Pokemon was too much to handle.

Shedinja was treading much better against Charizard\'s aura but it was also affected heavily by it.

"Seems like, you have got your successor dad. Even I and Red were not so good at this stage.", said Blue.

"Yes, you are right. Now I just have to make sure that he reaches that stage.", said Oak.

Oak then turned to Alakazam and said, "Take him and Shedinja to Hospital and also treat all his Pokemons"

Alakazam nodded and teleported while carrying Shedinja and Axel.

Axel woke with a spinning head. His head felt like it was gonna explode. He slowly sat on what seemed like a bed and then noticed where he was. He seemed to be in a hospital and he recalled.

"Where are my Po.."

"All of your Pokemons are treated and they are safe. Do not worry. You just sleep right now." The girl who seemed like a nurse helped Axel to sleep again. Axel closed his eyes.

He woke up again. He was now feeling much more better. His head was fine and was not spinning now. He saw that he had a couple of bandages on both of his legs.

He looked out of the window and figured out that it was night right now. He slowly stood up from the bed and walked towards the door. He was feeling very hungry right now.

Just as he opened the door, he looked and saw the nurse again.

"So, you woke up. You should lie in bed right now. You can be discharged tomorrow morning. By the way, my name is Aina.", said the nurse

"Hello, my name is Axel. I am feeling very hungry right now. Is there any way I can find something to eat?", said Axel slowly going inside the room to the bed.

Aina followed him and said, "Of course you can eat. You have been sleeping for the past 2 days. You must be very hungry."

"2 days? That long?", gasped Axel.

He knew that he had fainted for some time as he was feeling very hungry but 2 days was too much for Axel to comprehend. He didn\'t think that he was so injured.

"Yes, a Pokemon\'s aura really consumes your mental strength. You may not have felt at that time but you were very tired. I should tell you that you do not have any lasting injuries. Your legs would take a couple of days to heal completely.", said Aina

"What about my Pokemons? Are they ok ?"

"Yes, all of them are fine. Shedinja healed first cause it was not injured very much. Nidorino and Beedrill took 1 day to be perfectly okay. They and your other Pokemons had their meal and now are sleeping.", said Aina.

Axel felt a breath of relief when he heard it. He knew that his Pokemon were not so injured to begin with but he was scared non the less. Hearing that they are fine, Axel felt a wave of tension go off his head.

The meal was brought by Mr. Mime. The meal was delicious, They consisted of roasted meat, some spicy things that he never had before, pickles, a glass of juice and a chocolate.

Axel was an Asian when he was on Earth. So, he had a habit of eating rice, dal, and curry on a daily basis. The Pokemon world never had it so he sort of missed it a lot. He decided to make a plan for it someday.
