Chapter 268: Planning ahead 1
Chapter 268: Planning ahead 1
Shedinja first decided to make a proper shape of \'Shadow ball\'. It took advice from Nidorino as Nidorino had practiced it for a long time. It started to concentrate and \'Shadow ball\' started to form. This time, the process was super slow but Axel didn\'t mind.
The first time was a failure. However, Shedinja was not disheartened. It knew it would take some time for it to form a perfect shape. Under the guidance of Nidorino, Shedinja started to train.
Over the past few days, Gogoat\'s stat increased rapidly. This was due to Axel\'s talent. All of them reached S rank within 1 week. Its grass-type move was also boosted by a high margin. It was close to learning \'Field control\'

Ding!
Field control- 40% (learned)

Axel also told everyone about the way to improve their move mastery like he did with Shedinja. Following the example, Gogoat tried to improve the mastery of \'Grassy terrain\'.
\'Grassy Terrain\' would turn the ground into a grass filed and everyone inside the grass field would recover their Hp in a very small amount. The power of the grass-type moves also increases. However, with the help of its hidden ability \'Grass pelt\', Gogoat\'s defense would also increase in addition to its health.
However, the move had a severe disadvantage. It would also increase the Hp of the enemy and their grass-type move. Axel wanted Gogoat to only affect itself not others and then the training continued.
Gogoat was very mature and it was also very intelligent. It started to manipulate infinity energy to control the effects of \'Grassy Terrain\'.
###
As he was thinking about leveling moves from 39 to 40 he came across a situation of a certain Pokemon, Beedrill.
As of right now, Beedrill had 2 new moves Resolve (StageII) and \'String armor\'.
\'String armor\' was an armor made of strings but \'Resolve (Stage II)\' was completely different.
It was the first passive ability of any of Axel\'s Pokemon. Beedrill would try to permanently reduce its size and concentrate its power and infinity energy which would boost its power to a massive degree.
\'Resolve\' was created by merging 2 moves \'Minimize\' and \'Clam mind\'. Both of them were now at level 39. If both of those moves could level up to 40 (epic stage), wouldn\'t \'Resolve\' also upgrade?
Resolve (Stage I)- massively increased the stats to Beedrill to an unbelievable degree.
Resolve (Stage II)- also increased the stats of Beedrill but the increase in the level of the moves was very high.
So, what would stage III do?
Thinking about it Axel looked at Beedrill\'s stats

---
This surprised Axel a lot. Most of Beedrill\'s moves, especially bug-type moves had leveled up a lot. It had just learned \'X-scissor\', \'Furry cutter\', \'Lunge\', and \'String armor\' a month ago.
How could it increase the level of those moves to \'good stage\'?
Did that mean that its \'Resolve (Stage II)\', could increase the move mastery to such an extent?
Axel had turned off the notification of the system since the tide and only look at it if he wanted to. So, he didn\'t know that Beedrill had improved a lot.
Axel also noticed that only bug-type moves had a massive increase. Others didn\'t.
This gave Axel a new motivation to train its passive move \'Resolve\'.
"Beedrill, come here. I want you to improve the mastery of your moves \'Minimize\' and \'Calm mind\'. If you could do that, your \'Resolve\' would upgrade for sure"
Bzzzzz..
Beedrill was also excited by this prospect. Every morning, it would give itself an hour, practicing \'Minimize\' and \'Clam mind\'. It knew that its trump card was its passive move and it wanted to get stronger.
The main ingredient for \'Resolve\' was \'Minimize\'. \'Calm mind\' just assisted it to perform \'Resolve\'.
\'Minimize\' would instantly decrease the size of Pokemon to the lowest degree and it would raise evasiveness. However, it had a massive flaw. With the decrease in size, the power of the Pokemon also decreases considerably. When the move is over and the Pokemon become normal-sized, it would retain its lost power but it would not be 100%
For example, if a Pokemon with 100% power use the move and decrease its size, the power of the minimized Pokemon would only be 10% and after it retains its normal size, it would be around 60-70%.
That was why trainers very rarely use this move. It had many disadvantages. With the increase in level, the 10% had increased to 20% and 70% had increased to 80% for Beedrill but Axel still didn\'t want it to use in battle.
So, to increase its level to 40, Axel and Beedrill came to the conclusion that 80% would have to be 100%.
This would be a herculean task and it would take some time but Axel felt that after this was achieved, its level would increase to 40.
It was already 11 am and now he had instructed his Pokemons. It was now time to meet the brave soldiers of Hakone City.
