Type-enhancing items were not recommended till a Pokemon reaches an uncommon rank. He took the warning seriously and just watched it evolve. After a few minutes, it evolved fully.
The Pokemon was covered in brown feathers, and had a cream-coloured face, underside, and flight feathers. It had a crest of pinkish-red feathers on its head and black, angular markings behind its black eyes. The plumage of its tail had alternating red and yellow feathers with ragged tips. Its beak and legs were pink in color.
It was Pidgeotto.

The rush of evolution had affected it. It was already told about it before the evolution and now it was closing its eyes to concentrate. When a Pokemon evolves or ranks up, the energy in its body would increase at a very high level. Such rush of power and energy would be difficult to handle mentally.
Pidgeotto did a good job and after a few minutes, it was already normal. It started to fly around Axel showing its happiness.

For a Pokemon having a 3 evolution line, it was commendable. Pidgeotto had good move mastery. Its evolution didn\'t bring any increase in the move level but that was okay.
While fighting with other opponents, it realized that \'Sand Attack\' was a valuable move. So, the move had leveled up quite a bit. It was still not able to use the combination of \'Tailwind\' and \'Aerial ace\' but Axel was hopeful that it would be able to do it after it fully evolves.
"Flappy, use \'Aerial ace\'", said Axel.
"Pi...."
Pidgeotto flew high in the air and then it struck the tree. The speed of Pidgeotto was way higher than before. The impact on the tree had also increased but the aim was off.
Due to the increase in its speed and power, it could not aim very well like before. Axel knew that this would happen. A Pokemon would need some time to get adjusted to their new form.
However, it was much harder for Pidgeotto. Normally a Pokemon would have to adjust the speed, timing and power of their attacks after the evolution. It would take some time but it was not so hard but for Pidgeotto, it was harder.
Since it was a flying type Pokemon, it would have to focus on its aim and speed while flying which was way harder than land Pokemons.
"Flappy, first you have to adjust to your new form. It would take some time but you must focus on it first.", said Axel, and Pidgeotto agreed too.
Unlike its baby form, it was more mature and could understand that Axel was right.

A few days later, Ivysaur evolved. This was to be expected as it was very late for it. Axel always chose to focus on the foundation of a Pokemon rather than their evolution and ranks. Ivysaur was no exception, however, in the case of Ivysaur, Axel focused more on the foundation in comparison to others.
There was a simple reason for it. He wanted it to be the next Hashirama Senju. For that to be possible, it should have a solid base. He looked at its stats and was pleased by it.
