Chapter 695: Kripton

"Axel, you talk as if creating a new move is so easy. Well, it is easy for you and your Pokemon but if you are really interested in the answer then let me tell you.

I am not totally sure about it and I only have lots of theories. It is said that fairy-type Pokemons are not from this realm and are from a different realm. Since it was becoming difficult for Togetic to learn a new fairy-type Pokemon, Axel decided that he would think about it when it reached elemental rank.

When Togetic reaches elemental rank, it would have a fairy-type core. Right now, its fairy-type core is 80% mastered. Charles knew that Kripton was way stronger than itself as it was a master-rank Pokemon, so it kept quiet. Axel had also told it to learn from Kripton

"You will go inside my \'Ash world\'", said Kripton as its eyes gleamed with red light.

The surroundings of Charles started to change rapidly. The lush green trees and grasses around it started to disappear. All of its friends started to disappear and even Axel, its father started to disappear. Charles knew that it was not in any sort of life-threatening danger but it was still uncomfortable right now.

All the surroundings changed and Charles was now inside a place that was filled with ash around it. The ash on the ground was too hot to even step on for Charles. There was an active volcano on the far right side. There were also some trees but these trees were different. It looked like someone had sucked the soul out of them. They were black in color as it they would turn to ash if Charles even touched them.

Charles immediately did its \'Dragon dance\' and got ready for a fight. It didn\'t know where it was but it was ready for anything.

Suddenly, Charles could feel a movement on its back. It turned back and flew back to create some distance. It could see Kripton slowly flying towards it.

"You are good to sense me so fast but still very slow. If I was your enemy, you would already be dead.", said Kripton.

Charles started to sweat when it heard it cause it was true. It didn\'t know what this was but Kripton was a lot stronger than it thought.

"Oh, it is rare for me to see a scared Charizard.", joked Kripton.

This angered Charles to no need. Scared? It was going to show this Kripton once and for all.

It directly used \'Blaze\' and fired up \'Flame wings\'. It came at a blinding speed to attack Kripton. Kripton gave a soft smile and clicked its fingers. Suddenly, the ashes that were on the ground, moved up to block Charles. At least, that was what Charles thought but instead, it started to spread now it was difficult for Charles to see anything as everywhere there were ashes that covered the whole area.

These ashes were different. There were heavier than normal ashes and they were very hot, even for Charles.

"Now, Boom!", said Kripton, and immediately all the ashes there floating and spreading around started to ignite. This created a chain reaction and there was a massive explosion.

BOOM!!!

Charles hurriedly used \'Dragon scales\' and also \'Flame armor\' to block the explosion.

Even with all of its defensive moves, it was still hurt and there were multiple burnt marks on its body.

Charles got ready for another round and it stood up.

ROOOOARRR

It gave a huge roar. This was an insult to its pride.

"Ok, Calm down, calm down. I just wanted to show you...."

Kripton could not complete its sentence as Charles punched Kripton right on its face with \'Hellfire punch\' and sent it flying. Even though it was not hurt, the power of the punch was too high and it flew backward and stabilized itself.

"I said STOP!!!", shouted Kripton as it punched Charles to the ground. Only then Charles decide to stop.

"Now, let me finish. I hit you cause I wanted you to experience what a real domain looks like."

"Yes, the one that you have is a pseudo-domain, a pre-domain, not a real domain. This is a real domain and I have worked very hard to reach such a stage...."

Kripton then started to talk about the uses of its domain. Charles was surprised to hear it. If its pre-domain moves could reach such a stage then no one could stop it.

The ground which was also made from the mountain of ash started to rise up and a sea of sand started to float in the sky.

"This is the ash made of hot sand. I recommend you to use your defensive moves but also try to feel it as much as possible.", said Kripton with a smile.

"Red, how much time would it take?", asked Axel as he was looking at the red glow that was covering Charles and Kripton. The red glow that surrounded them was only 5 meters in diameter, not the vast and infinite land that Charles had seen.

"It would depend on how much your Charizard could hold on.", replied Red.

And after 20 minutes, both of them came out and Charles was riddled with injuries. The injuries were not serious, but there were multiple of them all over its body and it looked like it had consumed all of its stamina.

"Charles!!!", shouted Axel as he ran towards Charles.

"Red, what is happening?", asked Axel as he confirmed that it was not seriously injured.

"Don\'t worry about Charles. It would be okay after a day of rest. If you want to have a through understanding of the ash of the fire core, then you should first feel it first hand. That was what Kripton did.

So, it became injured after training on it. We will do it once every week and it will slowly start to understand ash.", said Red.

Axel immediately took Charles to the Pokemon center where it was treated.

"Don\'t worry. It is a king-rank Pokemon, so its passive healing ability is naturally high. It would be okay after a day of rest. You can come to pick it up at night.", said the nurse which made him feel relieved.

Axel calmed down after hearing from the nurse. It looked like mastering directions would not be easy.

A few days passed and now it was the 7th day since he came here. After continuously training for 7 days, Axel had finally fulfilled the first requirement. He could not hold his breath for a long time.

"Axel, I suggest that we directly go to the third requirement. Since you will only be here for a month, I will also be here for only a month. So, we should start to train the third requirement right now.", suggested Red.

As they were talking 2 men came to the room to meet with Gordon. When Gordon saw those men, he was surprised beyond belief. His hand started to shake and the tea spilled in his hand but he didn\'t care.

He just could not believe that he would meet the former champion Red today.
