Chapter 1075: The War Forge Assembly (1)

"Correct me if I\'m wrong, but the thing about the plot of land I bought is already sorted out, right?" asked the young man with slight curiosity.

"Pretty much." Julian nodded in response, opening up a rift before taking out a piece of parchment not long after. "There were a couple of obstacles here and there, but we got there in the end."

Receiving the parchment that was given to him, it went without saying that the young man looked at in detail.

Taking note of the various lines of text that were written on it, Valyr summed it up as basically a list of what he needed to keep in mind now that he was the owner of a plot of land within Algerie Kingdom.

Aside from the fact that he would need to pay a slightly substantial land tax every year due to the sheer size of the land he got, most of the other things that were written on the parchment pretty much reiterated what he thought as common sense.

With that, it did not take long for him to reach the end of the parchment, which actually gave him a rough idea of the plot of land he\'d bought.

Other than that, he took note of the fact that the parchment was made from high-quality material, which gave him more than enough confidence to place it in his spatial bracelet for the meantime.

"I suppose I need to make a visit to the plot of land to finalize things?" asked the young man as he looked at Julian, to which the latter nodded in response.

"Pretty much every plot of land bought from the kingdom needs to go through that procedure," said the man as he shrugged his shoulders. "Then again, you don\'t need to head there before the meeting. Someone from the guild is keeping an eye on it until you head there."

Nodding in response, Valyr thanked Julian once more for helping him out on his request to buy a plot of land, which naturally caused the latter to become curious as to what he planned on doing with it.

In response, the young man told him that he planned on establishing a forge alongside making it his personal estate, which surprisingly piqued more interest from Julian than he initially thought.

In fact, the man was more than interested in Valyr\'s idea that the remaining time before the meeting quickly passed by, with the young man eventually being forced to write down a list of all the suggestions Julian gave him that he felt like he\'d implement.

"Oh... I got carried away again." Just as the young man began to wonder how much more suggestions the man before him was storing in his mind, Julian caught himself at the very last minute, realizing the amount of time that passed.

Briefly sending a couple of messages through his system, the man soon let out a sigh of relief as he looked back at Valyr with an apologetic smile. "Sorry. It\'s been a while since I\'ve talked about topics like these in depth. Let\'s head to the venue, shall we?"

Not wanting to sour Julian\'s mood any further, Valyr merely nodded in response as he took a look at his status screen. "There\'s still 30 minutes left before the meeting officially starts, no?"

"That it does." Julian nodded as he walked out of his workshop beside Valyr. "However, most of the people that are part of the meeting usually arrive before that, so the meeting usually ends up starting earlier."

With that in mind, the two slightly hastened their pace as they left the Blacksmith Guild, their gait more or less akin to a power walk as they arrived at the entrance of the Imperial Production Guild in less than five minutes.

Knowing who Julian was and the reason for their appearance at the guild, the guards at the entrance swiftly gave way to the two, informing them of the others that had already arrived at the assembly hall.

Thanking the guards in response, Julian and Valyr eventually arrived at the assembly hall, with the latter being greeted by the sight that slightly caught him off guard.

Though Julian called it an assembly hall, the hall appeared more like what the inside of a stage theater would look like instead of what he had in mind.

Noticing that there was a small stage at the end of the room surrounded by what looked to be at least over a hundred chairs, Valyr could not help but inwardly gulp, failing to recall the last time he\'d done public speaking to such a large audience.

Nevertheless, he was still able to maintain his composure, noticing that half of the seats were already filled with what he felt were the directors manning the other branches of the

Blacksmith Guild.

Naturally, amongst those directors included one he\'d met just a couple days ago.

"Julian!" As if he was waiting for them, Byron appeared in front of the two with a wide smile on his face. "And if it isn\'t Ylvar!"

"Sir Byron." Valyr smiled, giving the man a respectful bow in response.

"I suppose my hospitality back at the empire was to your liking?" Nodding back at Valyr\'s bow, Byron soon threw a question at the young man.

"You\'ve definitely made me feel at home, Sir Byron," replied the young man, quickly coming up with a response that he felt was just right. "I do apologize for not being able to stay too long, though."

"Considering that you\'re attending this assembly with Julian, there\'s no need to apologize." Byron let out a bit of laughter in response, only to shift his gaze towards Julian as he asked

him a question.

"I\'m guessing there\'s a special reason as to why you brought the prodigy along?"

"Remember that one proposal that\'s been shot down by the directors multiple times already?" asked Julian back, to which Byron nodded after a bit of thought. "Yeah, he\'s the

inspiration for that proposal."

"Wait..." Slightly frowning at the man\'s words, Byron briefly furrowed his brows before his eyes slightly widened in realization. "You\'re saying...?"

"If you\'re thinking what I\'m thinking, then yes." Julian nodded with a grin.

"Ylvar\'s here to show a couple of things for the frontlines."

"A couple of things the other directors are definitely going to like."
