Chapter 134: Chapter 134 – First Parkour Video
— Damn, that was loud. My momma thought I was watching an AV!
— Animal video, right? And it's VR, your momma can't hear it!
The video was in the first POV, only showing the scenery as well as Max's gloved hand. This way, the viewers could enjoy the experience through screen or VR mode, allowing them to experience what was played in real-time.
Naturally, most viewers already switched to VR mode for a better experience. Only a few people watched in screen mode, mainly because they wanted to chat while watching.
"Stop right there!"
A voice came from behind Max. He turned around and saw another person in the distance with the exact same face as him, pointing his hand at him. What made that person different was the fact he wore a security uniform and a cap.
— Oh?
— Security Breeze?
— This man has no friends so he took all the roles by himself?!
— What a dedication
— Poor Breeze, I am willing to become a security for you
Yes, he took all the roles himself by shooting the same scene twice, from the 1st and 3rd POV, and combining both footage in one. Once again, with the video editing application at this age, it was pretty easy.
Max, who was confronted by the security, cursed loudly.
"Shit! He's here!"
It began from there. He started running toward the nearby boxes and jumped. His feet were planted on the edge of the tall box, and he rolled over it before meeting a dead end in the form of scaffolding that blocked his way.
Looking around, he saw the security guard was going after him while he was brandishing a black stick. It was bad!
Without any other way, he began climbing the scaffolding before him.
"Hey! You're not allowed there!" The security Max shouted loudly, watching him from the ground.
It led to an unfinished building, which had a few gaps here and there. He climbed like a monkey without stopping even once. At some point, he couldn't grab the next pipe and had to jump.
The video slowed down, showing Max extending his hand toward the opposite wall.
— Grab it!
— Take it!
— You can do it
— Calm down guys, he should be able to make it
The dramatic, slowed video ended as Max grabbed the wall and pulled himself up. The screen suddenly changed when the wall filled his vision. He climbed up the wall and began running on a roof with a few levels.
— Did it suddenly change place?
— The transition is so smooth!
While running, Max looked behind. He watched the security guard appear from the metal staircase and chase after him.
"Stop right there!"
No one stopped when they were asked to! With that in mind, he ran faster. A fence stood before him, and he couldn't go around because there were walls on both sides. Still, he didn't lower his speed and actually ran faster.
The viewers' hearts palpated in excitement. They knew what he would do next. And their guess was correct.
Nearing the fence, he suddenly jumped toward the wall and kicked it, boosting himself up. He jumped over the fence easily and rolled on the ground to soften the landing. That led to another smooth transition as he was now in a Sky Rail station, running in the clean hallway with a flickering light.
The ticketing counter wasn't stopping him. He vaulted over the first railing, his fingers barely grazing the cool metal. The rhythmic beat of footsteps echoed behind him, a sign of the security guard still following him.
With adrenaline coursing through his veins, he sprinted across the platform. The click-clack of the guard's boot resonated with his fast pace, urging him to pass his limit.
Heavy breathing became the only ambient noise, together with tense background music. He hurdled over the turns, ducked under low-hanging signs, and seamlessly went through the station's twists and turns.
And when he was at the end of the corridor, he leaped onto the railing of the stairs, his legs propelling him upward with a powerful strength.
"You there! Stop right now!"
"Haha, catch me if you can." He gave a middle finger to the guard before climbing the stairs outside.
Once again, when his vision was filled with the metal stairs, he was transported in another location seamlessly. He was in an urban area this time, climbing down the stairs by jumping down the railing.
Neon signs flickered below as he landed on the sign and jumped down to the building's roof. A daring rooftop-to-rooftop gap awaited him. The ground seemed so far away, giving him excitement to jump over to the other side.
Glancing back, he saw the security guard falter for a moment. He knew that this was his escape.
He gathered his strength for the final leap. He soared through the air, landing on the opposite building with a controlled roll.
This time, the guard couldn't follow him anymore. He had no courage to chase after him through a long jump that could risk his life.
With a quick salute, Max continued running and disappeared into the shadow of the roof. With a victorious escape, he continued to trace the urban pathway and took a drink from the nearby vending machine.
Clack!
"Phew!"
And with that, the video ended. The livestream screen changed back to show Max sitting on his chair.
"How is it, my dear viewers? I have successfully escaped the evil security guard that doesn't allow me to do parkour. No one can stop Breeze from doing as he pleases."
— Holy that was good!
— It's a movie level!
— While there is a lack of effect, it's really good! The transition is also really smooth!
— Damn! Just Damn!
— How can you run like that? This is insane!
— GG GG GG GG BREEZE THE GOAT!!!
— I think I wet myself a little…
— That was amazing!
[BloodSucker has donated 500 diamonds!]
[F*ck! Can we use this footage in the contest? No, let me use it for the contest!]
"Hmm? You want to use this footage?"
Reading the donation from BloodSucker, Max hummed. He didn't think BloodSucker would join the contest. And the idea of using his new video for the contest also never flashed in his mind.
But… that sounded interesting. He wanted to see how the people in this future world edit parkour's footage.
"I will share all the raw footage I saved in a public link after this stream. Feel free to use it in the contest."
— I should've waited! I already uploaded 2 videos!
— This isn't fair, I also want to join with the new footage, but you announced it too late!
— Can I upload 3? Can I?
"Well, because this is my blunder, I will allow the one who has uploaded 2 videos to delete one and change it. Of course, I still limit it to 2 videos for every person. No exception will be made from this point onward." He said. "Feel free to use the Midnight Heist VODs too."
— You're the best!
— Hyaa!
— I love you Breeze!
— The most humble streamer ever
"Hehe, I am glad you understand that I am the most humble streamer ever." He nodded in satisfaction, "But that is that. With the matter of video finished, let's head to Midnight Heist! I hope I become a police officer this time."
