Chapter 171: Chapter 171 – Biozone Monthly Segment [2]
"Hello, guys! Hahahaha, thank you for the welcome!" He said in a normal voice, but everyone could hear him due to the sound system prepared by the production crew. His confidence was over the roof and there was no sign of nervousness in his action.
Meanwhile, Max walked normally with a soft smile. His clothes were a simple black jacket with a blue accent and black pants. There was nothing fancy, and he looked like a regular boy in an outing.
He tried his best to look calm. It was his second time appearing in front of a large crowd. But compared to the first time in Knight's Journey program, a real crowd was watching him directly and calling his name here.
"Breezee!!"
"Kyaaaa, that's Breeze in virtual flesh!!"
"He's so handsome! More handsome than his video."
"Don't you think he becomes more charming? What actually happened?"
"So chill. I like it! I will call it Breeze's style!"
— Goddamn, he looks neat.
— Compared to Flexy, he's friendly-looking. Is it because of his clothes?
-official
— Evelyn and Flexy: Dressed formally. Breeze: I am going to my friend's house type of clothing
— Hahaha, he just wears a jacket like usual. Does he think he's going to a friend's house?
— Even so, it's frustrating that those clothes suit him to a T, making him look more handsome!
Hearing the shout and reading the slowed-down chat, Max frowned slightly.
'Have I made a mistake with my clothing? They said anything is good as long as it's appropriate.' He thought, looking at his own body.
'It's not my fault. Besides, I only have these clothes for my VR avatar besides the suit for roleplay! They should've prepared one for me if there is a dress code!'
Grinding his teeth, he glanced at his friend to shift the blame. This so-called expert and big streamer also didn't say anything at all.
He climbed the staircase and sat on the sofa beside Flexy, facing Evelyn across from him.
"Hello, guys. As a starter, I will ask a light question. Fufufu, it's been a few days since we last met, but it seems that someone has grown a lot since that time. And your clothes are quite unique on an occasion like this, Breeze. What makes you choose that?"
She looked at him with a friendly smile.
However, her gaze said something different. It bore through him as if she could tell whether he was lying or not.
And Max, who was caught off guard by the question that somehow was aimed at him, responded reflexively.
"I got no other clothes… So I have no choice but to wear my usual one."
Everyone was speechless at that answer. No one expected him to give her that answer. He could've said he preferred these clothes or that this was how he presented himself.
But… They never thought that a streamer with an average of 10K viewers said he had no other clothes like a poor person. Not only that…
"Even so…" Max paused. He glanced at his friend and smirked, "I think my 'default' clothes still look better than my friend over here."
"Huh? What do you mean, buddy?" Flexy was surprised because he was suddenly dragged into this. "Look at me, proper and handsome. What are you saying? You look better in your rag jacket?!"
Max looked at Flexy and huffed.
"At least I am not reflecting the neon light and blind people's eyes."
— lolol
— He speaks fact
— Just a beginning and there is already a good laugh lol
— Based Breeze. At least he's not blinding lol
— Turn off the light, please! My eyes got blinded by Flexy's clothes!
"G-Guys…"
Having the chat against him, Flexy looked dejected and lowered his head.
Evelyn immediately followed suit.
"Don't worry, Flexy. I prepared something in a case like this!"
She took out sunglasses from her VR inventory and wore them.
"Now I can see you with no problem. It's no longer blinding!" She exclaimed happily, only to add the pain to Flexy's feeling.
The funny conversation continued, with the topic resolving Flexy's bright clothes that reflected the spotlights. Many viewers from the spectator area also laughed. It was a great start for the monthly segment.
Because many people told him that it was blinding, Flexy decided to change the color of his clothes from bright orange to matte orange. It was still orange, but it was no longer blinding.
"Are you satisfied now? Can we continue the question?" He desperately begged.
"Fufufu, you're right." Evelyn took off her sunglasses and smiled, "Let's continue the question. We will not talk about Flexy's blinding clothes again."
Many viewers expressed their disappointment, but some were glad they left behind that topic. Evelyn continued her questions, this time about their streaming activities.
As the more senior of the two, Flexy was supposed to answer first. But for some reason, he asked Max to answer the question before him.
"What did I do in my stream lately?" He asked, a mocking smile appeared on his face. "Suffering. That's one word I can say to answer that question."
"Suffering?" Evelyn asked curiously. "What kind of suffering have you experienced?"
"Hehehe…" An evil laugh escaped Max's lips as he hunched forward, "Do you want to know? I can share it here. Oh, please do let me share it. It's something that–"
"That's such a wonderful answer, Breeze." The host quickly cut off Max before he could ramble about his suffering.
Having been cut off, Max wasn't angry or anything. Since the start, he and Flexy planned to troll and have fun in this podcast.
"What about you, Flexy?"
So, when Evelyn turned to the orange-haired streamer and asked the same question, he answered jokingly.
"I eradicated small bugs," Flexy said, narrowing his eyes and balling his fist as if he had done something hard.
"Those bugs are so persistent that I must use a thick chemical and explosive to destroy them. Not only that, but I also need ray guns and heat hammers to crush them. It's a really dangerous stream, but I enjoyed it. I will eradicate all the roaches and win the next tournament! Damned roaches!"
"I-I see…" Once again, it rendered Evelyn speechless.
— Poor Evelyn
— When Breeze and Flexy are together, they become a troll
— What did he do to our Breeze? He has become a jokester now
— Isn't he always like that?
— That's called friendship dude. You just can't be serious when you're with your friend
— True true, the boys band together.
The duo laughed and then explained what they actually did in their stream, which was preparing for each tournament for the game of their choice: Midnight Heist and Roach Planet.
Evelyn shuddered when she heard the game Flexy played, most certainly because of disgust toward the tiny monster. However, the podcast continued with jokes, and the host had no chance to ask about their secrets because they were always joking around.
