Chapter 45 - 45: Having Money (Please keep reading!)
Upon hearing this, David Jones’ smile suddenly stiffened.
No wonder there was such a blessing as the Blessed Dungeon coming his way. It turned out to be a low-level dungeon with extremely scarce resources.
Maybe the Guild had already thoroughly searched and mined all the resources inside.
“There’s a Mount Heaven Snow Pool in the Mountain Southshore Dungeon, which is the area with the most concentrated Arcane Force.”
As if sensing David’s thoughts, Gavin Maud added.
“The energy essence gathered in the Snow Pool at the peak of Mount Heaven can accelerate the growth rate of pets, enhance their potential, and even have a tiny chance of enabling pets to complete species evolution.”
Hearing this, David’s eyes brightened, and he quickly asked, “How long does the guild allow entry to the dungeon, and how are the pet resources obtained by the trainer distributed?”
Seeing David’s eager eyes, Gavin Maud laughed and said, “The environment inside Mountain Southshore Dungeon is extremely cold and harsh, so the guild does not recommend trainers to stay long.”
“Therefore, the dungeon is open for only three days. During this time, all the pet resources you find inside belong to you, and you can bring them out freely. Of course, pets living in the dungeon cannot be taken away privately by trainers, except for those who have already signed a Beast Taming Contract.” “Is the dungeon already successfully developed by the guild?”
David nodded, showing some hesitation and curiosity.
Every discovered dungeon in Flowery Kingdom was extremely rare and precious.
Firstly, dungeons might contain special pets that have never been discovered, any of which could fetch a sky-high price.
Secondly, the pet resources born in the dungeon were diverse and the Arcane Force was dense, making it suitable for trainers to cultivate their Arcane Stars. Lastly, the core of the dungeon could be melted by senior blacksmiths onto high-level Star Rings, allowing the Star Ring to merge with the vast space within the dungeon, making it the trainer’s exclusive private space.
When David thought about the many benefits of dungeons, he couldn’t help but feel envious.
How come he didn’t discover an unowned dungeon!
After pondering for a while, Gavin Maud felt there was no need to hide this information and said, “Yes, the Guild has already sent someone to explore the dungeon. However, the pet resources guarded by the beasts in the dungeon were not taken by the Guild but were kept as tests.”
“As long as you have the strength, you can obtain many pet resources in the dungeon!”
It turned out that the dungeon was another battleground set up by the Guild for the newly graduated trainers.
It was estimated that many trainers from Waterland City would be able to enter the dungeon, and the competition would be fierce.
However, David was determined to get to that Snow Pool.
After all, pet resources that could help with evolution were few and far between!
“Guildmaster Maud, is the entrance to this dungeon fixed or random?” David asked.
“There’s no fixed entrance to this dungeon. At that time, the Guild staff will be responsible for transporting you inside. Don’t worry, the random transport location is usually pretty safe; you won’t suddenly appear in the air or inside a glacier,” Gavin Maud said with a smile.
“Of course, the safety of teleportation is limited. If you’re unlucky, you might be teleported directly into a beast’s lair or onto a tree inhabited by numerous Toxic Wasps!”
“Ah? So isn’t the death rate very high?”
David frowned upon hearing this, wondering why Guildmaster Maud spoke such frightening words so seriously.
Did the survival of trainers entering the dungeon depend on their luck?
“Ha ha, it’s not that exaggerated. That kind of thing doesn’t happen even once in ten years for unlucky people.”
Seeing David’s nervous expression, Gavin Maud couldn’t help but chuckle.
“Moreover, the Guild has already mastered the core of this dungeon. In case of such situations, just trigger the Guild’s specially made Void Stone fragment by your thoughts, and you can safely leave the dungeon.”
David pulled a wry smile, suddenly realizing that the seemingly solemn Guildmaster of the Trainer Guild was not very serious.
“Thank you, Guildmaster Maud, for enlightening me.” David stood up and politely expressed his gratitude.
“I just told you some of the specific information about the dungeon that I know.”
Gavin Maud laughed. He liked communicating with young and newly graduated trainers best, as it made him feel much younger.
Upon returning to his apartment, David felt a great sense of gain.
Not only did he win the championship in the Championship Challenge organized by the Trainer Guild, but he also learned a lot of information about dungeons from Guildmaster Maud.
Of course, the most important gain was the qualification to participate in the dungeon and the one million Star Coin championship prize.
Truth be told, the timely one million Star Coin prize helped David’s not-so-wealthy family overcome most of their difficulties.
With that thought, David directly hugged Rainbow, who was buried in the quilt, and couldn’t help rubbing his face against her smooth, jade-like body. “Yiyaya!” (*(D *)
Rainbow twisted her head with some disgust. What wind was blowing her trainer today!
Wasn’t it just a simple win in a few matches?
Was it necessary!
David, in a cheerful mood, didn’t care about the disdainful looks of his star contributor.
He opened the pet shopping mall app on his phone and happily told Rainbow, “Now that we have money, you can look for anything you like to eat in the pet mall. I’ll buy it for you!”
Rainbow curiously leaned over, her eyes puzzled as they looked at the phone in David’s hand.
“Yiyiya.” (This thing is not edible!)
“Ah, this…”
For a moment, David didn’t know how to respond. He just remembered that his phone had been used by Rainbow for learning Flowery Kingdom characters through video lessons, and he hadn’t taught her how to use it yet.
So, David then proceeded to teach Rainbow how to use the phone for shopping step by step.
It must be said that the intelligent Rainbow learned very quickly. In no time, she was proficient in using the phone, even able to shop online on her own and purchase a Snow Lotus Elixir in the pet mall.
“Yiyiya?” (Is that all?)
“Yes, that’s all. Tomorrow, the delivery person will bring the Snow Lotus Elixir you just bought to our home,” David said, smiling and stroking Rainbow’s head.
“If you still have things you like, you can use my account to buy them. Just let me know when you check out.”
“Yiyaya!” (*ava*) (Alright!)
Rainbow then carefully manipulated the floating phone with her psychic power, her eyes scanning over the dazzling array of items.
She tilted her head slightly. There were so many delicious food pictures on the phone, each looking so tempting that she couldn’t decide which to choose.
But looking at the cute and confused Rainbow before him, David’s cheeks were filled with a warm smile..
