Chapter 67 - 67: Frost Wyvern (Please continue reading!)
Frost Wyvern?” Charlie Heavenlee murmured to himself.
If he had been doubtful before, he was certain now. Because there was no dragon pet named Frost Wyvern listed in the Beast Trainer Catalogue of the Flowery Kingdom.
This was clearly a special evolution path created by the young man before him or perhaps by his family.
A look of burning desire flashed in Charlie Heavenlee’s eyes. Not many trainers could resist the allure of dragon pets, and he was no exception.
He stood on the spot, hesitant for a while. Even though the probability of success wasn’t high, he still thought that trading would be the simplest method.
If he were to take it by force, failure would mean fleeing without looking back. After all, they say you can outrun the monk but not the temple; his wife and daughter were still in Waterland City.
“Ah, what if I offered my daughter to David Jones? Maybe…” A thought suddenly flashed across Charlie Heavenlee’s mind, and he subconsciously took a few glances at David Jones.
“Never mind, she doesn’t deserve him!” Charlie Heavenlee sighed.
While looking perfect on the outside, she was a mess at home. This was an old father’s distaste for his daughter’s slovenly habits.
Noticing Charlie Heavenlee’s passionate gaze, David Jones shivered involuntarily and directly asked, “Do you need something?”
“Can you sell the evolutionary path of your Flood Dragon?” he said with a friendly smile.
Remembering the sinister feelings he’d sensed earlier, David Jones shook his head and said helplessly, “Would you believe me if I said that this unknown evolution was an accident?”
Looking at Charlie Heavenlee’s half-skeptical expression, David Jones shrugged. He knew it would turn out like this.
“After getting out of the dungeon, I’ll update my pet’s basic information at the Trainer Guild and transfer the authorization for this evolution path to the official for Contribution Points. By that time, you can choose whether to exchange it yourself,” David Jones responded indifferently.
If unnecessary, David Jones didn’t want to have a dispute with Charlie Heavenlee. After all, Charlie Heavenlee hadn’t done anything improper, and it was quite normal for a genius like him to be envied.
But if Charlie Heavenlee harbored ill intentions, then David Jones wouldn’t just stand by and do nothing.
There was no need to wait thirty years; David Jones wanted to test the power of a senior trainer right now.
A senior trainer so what? With Rainbow here, I’ll crush the elites!
Subconsciously glancing at his own bracelet, David Jones thought, “If I can’t beat him, I’ll just run away.”
“Okay.”
Charlie Heavenlee looked at David Jones somewhat dejectedly and retreated back to his room with a look of disappointment.
The gap between people was even bigger than he’d imagined.
Unless they ganged up on him, in a one-on-one situation, the Class III Salamander that he’d raised for over twenty years might not be able to defeat the Frost Wyvern before him.
Ignoring the departure of Charlie Heavenlee, David Jones’ gaze turned to the majestic Rainbow in front of him.
He’d wanted to become a dragon-wielding knight for a long time, and today he might get his wish.
Sensing the intention of its trainer, Rainbow’s expression became more vigilant, and then it anxiously looked at David Jones.
“Want to ride me? Impossible! Don’t I, the snake, have any self-respect!” Looking at Rainbow’s determined expression, David Jones couldn’t help laughing, “I’ll increase the dragon force enhancement once a day from now on.” That s exactly what I’ve been waiting for!
With anticipation in her eyes, Rainbow nodded eagerly.
Looking at Rainbow’s delighted face, David Jones stroked his chin.
“I wonder how much the duration of my dragon-wielding strength enhancement has increased by now?”
This time the rewards from evolution were far greater than when Rainbow had levelled up before. The Arcane Star in his mind and his physical strength had both transformed significantly, so much so that the clothes he’d previously been wearing had suddenly begun to stretch.
“Aren’t we going to the dungeon for treasure hunting?”
Seeing David Jones deep in thought, Rainbow, who was worried about missing an enhancement opportunity, immediately gave a low call to press him on.
“We’ll worry about that later, let’s first get familiar with the Species Skill you’ve automatically understood after evolution!”
Coming back to his senses, David Jones looked at Rainbow, who had swelled to a length of more than ten meters next to him, and a flicker of admiration flashed in his eyes.
If this huge body were to use the Size Adjustment skill, wouldn’t Rainbow’s body length reach tens of meters, even hundreds of meters!
First is Size Adjustment, try to see how big you can become!”
As soon as David Jones finished speaking, Rainbow blinked her eyes in surprise. When had she learned this skill?
“Focus on sensing it. The Species Skill is a power lurking within your bloodline.
As long as you wish, you can successfully manipulate it!” David Jones reminded.
He had memorized the Skill Compendium in the Flowery Kingdom. Although he didn’t know how powerful the Rainbow’s use would be, the Species Skill he had identified should be correct.
Getting the idea, Rainbow nodded, closed her eyes, and carefully sensed the powerful force concealed within her bloodline.
The next moment!
Rainbow began to emanate faint waves of dragon force. As the dragon force waves overflowing from her body grew stronger, her body started to tremble slightly.
A golden light flashed by, and Rainbow’s body slowly began to grow bigger.
David Jones stepped back reflexively. His eyes were glued to Rainbow’s ever-changing body.
A loud dragon chant suddenly rang out.
The Size Adjustment seemed to change according to Rainbow’s original body ratio. Her appearance was not much different from before.
The only difference was the gigantic body of Rainbow that filled David Jones’ sight.
The immense shadow instantly filled his vision. As he looked up at Rainbow, whose length has doubled, he was tremendously amazed.
Given the size Rainbow has shown now, she could crush quite a few Class II pets with her physical strength alone!
Feeling the endless power within her body and the rapidly depleting Arcane Force, Rainbow blinked thoughtfully. Then, her body size quickly shrank.
Within seconds, Rainbow was back to her original size. As if she still wanted to play, her body continued to shrink.
After a while, a majestic Flood Dragon approximately five meters long appeared in front of David Jones.
“Roar!” Rainbow looked down at David Jones who had suddenly grown larger in front of her and let out an excited roar.
Unlike growing, the Arcane Force consumed by reducing her size was negligible.
She liked this Size Adjustment skill, and she decided to keep this body size in the future!
“Just understanding it has such an effect! The maximum increase of one’s own body size by two times, and the minimum reduction to half of the original size. If you master this skill, you might be able to reproduce the figure of the ancient True Dragon.”
At this thought, David Jones was somewhat excited.
Unfortunately, improving the skill level for high-level skills is difficult Rainbow just got started and only mastered some basics.
After confirming the effects of Size Adjustment, David Jones shifted his focus to Rainbow’s other core skill.
“Rain Dance!”
