Chapter 224: Making Enemies With Powerful People
She had just sent a clueless dumb drug princess a list of videos that were extremely inappropriate, but not in the way that the princess thought they would be. And made off with a sweet million dollars doing it. In fact, the girl whose username was “Redacted” was quite skilled with computers, and especially at hacking.
It was how she had stolen Alex’s private library of pornographic videos he filmed of himself with the various sluts he had banged this past year and a half. Including, of course the cheerleaders at UNLV. In all honestly, this young woman had only ever bothered intruding on Alex’s privacy, because a good “friend” of hers was obsessed with the man and had asked her to do so on several occasions.
The more Redacted learned about Alex, the more she despised and feared the man. He was an extremely powerful figure, one who was capable of great violence and cruelty. And though most people thought that Alex was just some dumb fighter, he was now a billionaire and owned significant wealth.
Meanwhile, Diana was connected with America’s political elites, meaning Alex could easily use those connections in his favor, especially in the criminal justice system, which is how he had quite literally gotten away with murder, more than once.
Redacted had been extremely careful when infiltrating Alex’s accounts, and had only done so on things that didn’t really matter, like social media, his personal email, and things like server hosting. Because the last thing this young woman wanted to do was get on Alex’s bad side and end up with another one of his victims.
Though lately, Isabella had been paying Redacted to investigate a far more vicious and dangerous killer…. Or so she told Isabella that was what this El Cucuy was. In reality, Redacted was currently staring at a security video she had taken from Nuevo Laredo’s airport. Where Alex joined the notorious Lieutenant of the Los Zeta’s Drug Cartel, Miguel Cortes for a journey no doubt to a Cartel compound somewhere else in the region.
With a few other evidence taken from various cameras and databases, Redacted was able to paint a picture that Jalisco and the Gulf Cartel could not. And that was the fact that the infamous and new Zetas hitman known only by the name “El Cucuy” was none other than the famous MMA Fighter, and rising Light Heavyweight Prospect Alex “Baba Yaga” Smith….
Knowing that this man, who even the Drug Lords at Jalisco had begun to fear, was none other than the wealthy American billionaire who had connections to America’s political elite. Redacted had become convinced that she had painted a target on her back for one of the world’s most vicious and soon to be most powerful men.Because of this she had locked herself in her dorm room ever since she found these various pieces of evidence that supported her thesis, and refused to come out. The million dollars she had conned Isabella into giving her was immediately distributed among her family’s accounts as a final gesture, believing that any minute now her door would be kicked down by the Zetas, and her fate fulfilled.
But as time passed nothing happened, and Redacted began to convince herself that maybe, just maybe… Alex had not noticed yet. Either way, she could never reveal the man’s identity, especially to his enemies. And though Isabella may be fond of Alex’s two distinctive personas, she was still the Jalisco princess.
And if Isabella’s father or brother ever learned that Alex was none other than the sicario who had been giving them such trouble. Neither he nor his loved ones would ever be safe in this world. Thus, redacted immediately began clearing any and all evidence she had gathered on “El Cucuy’s” identity. Hoping that nobody would ever realize she found out the truth.
Once Redacted had done this, she received a message from Isabella that cursed her out. Something that made the young hacker smile.
“You fucking asshole! My brother saw those videos you gave me! Why didn’t you tell me they were pornographic?”
With a snickering expression on her pretty face once more, Redacted responded to Isabella’s outrage with a false expression of ignorance.
“I’m sorry, I thought you understood… Perhaps you are younger and more naïve than I thought you were. If that’s the case, we really shouldn’t be friends anymore.”
This comment only further enraged Isabella who was quick to comment on the status of their “friendship”
“What friends? All you ever do is take my money! If we were really friends, you would be doing these favors for me for free! Now my brother is mad at me, and if he finds out I spent so much money on porn, he’s going to literally kill me! Besides…. I don’t know why… But he really hates Alex… I don’t know if it will be safe to have him over for my 18th birthday…”
Redacted posted a laughing emoji, obviously mocking Isabella for her problems, before telling her why Angel hated Alex so much.
“Angel just hates Alex, because Alex is flirting with a girl he’s interested in. The only problem is this woman will never accept your brother for the monster he is… She has a deep vendetta against the Cartel, and there is no way she will ever accept having a literal drug prince as a lover…”
Isabella’s response was exactly what Redacted thought it was… One of shock, anger, and confusion, which she expressed through text.
“What the hell? You fucking prick. Don’t tell me you hacked my accounts and looked into my background as well?”
Isabella simply posted another laughing emoji before leaving Isabella to stew in her own anger. Which she did by responding with another message before turning off her instant messaging app.
“I fucking hate you so much!”
Once Isabella was gone, Redacted simply smirked before looking in the reflection of her desk’s mirror where she sighed heavily before expressing her own lament at her doomed situation.
“Oh, Nina… You just can’t stop making enemies with powerful people can you…”
