Chapter 110: Innocent System Part 3

An imperceptible glint of curiosity materialized in Boundless's beautiful brown eyes for but a moment

Before it faded completely

Azmond was too distracted by the revelations being presented to him one after the other to even realize what unnoticeable things were occurring within the small, perfect 'Boundless System'.

'I actually broke that wall?!?'

He couldn't recall for the life of him whether he had ever truly shattered that 'wall'.

It was unknown whether his memories were just hazy or if they were somehow wiped along the way.

It was a peculiar feeling that irritatingly scratched away at his soul

You did, in fact, break through that 'wall'. And you did so in spectacular fashion, as even the highest existences above noticed the disturbance and rectified the 'anomaly' right away.

She outstretched her right arm as her smooth, porcelain-like index finger aimed directly at Azmond's far larger frame.

You're the 'Anomaly'. An anomaly that shouldn't exist right now. You should be dead.

She spoke in a neutral tone, as if what she was speaking of was no big deal

Azmond, on the other hand... Was surprisingly

Calm?

How could one stay composed when being informed of such a revelation??

Apparently, Azmond could!

Death wasn't a particularly foreign concept to him, and some higher existence playing around with his life was also nothing new.

So, why should he lament and sulk over just another set of words telling him that he should already be dead?

He was too lazy to even try to emulate a feeling of extreme shock. Because if he were being honest

He just didn't care about such formalities anymore!

It seemed like every single day that followed would be yet another day where he meets yet another 'Higher Existence'.

He couldn't be bothered to tend to the egos of every single higher existence out there

The 'Boundless System' knew every single thing that went in and out of Azmond's brain. So, it clearly heard all the thoughts swirling around inside his head right now.

However, she didn't appear to take a second look at those surface thoughts.

After all, she already fully understood the extremely convoluted nature of his personality

She knew everything there was to know about Azmond.

What sort of foods he liked to eat!

What type of places he wanted to visit!

How much he wanted to train all the damn time!

She even knew what type of women he 'preferred'

And let's just say that his taste in women was very 'unique'.

...

"You mentioned something about my supposed destination being six feet under, correct?" A deep, inquisitive tone of indifference sounded out.

Followed by an instantaneous response from a certain miniature beauty.

Yes, you are considered dead in the eyes of those up above. You should've been immediately deemed a 'variable' and, subsequently, should've already been dispatched. But, somehow

You are still alive!

One way or another, you were 'reincarnated' into this world called 'Asterion'. A world that's far higher on the existence scale than your old one. It would make for a perfect beginner spot!...

At least it would be, If not for those inconsequential beings wjo noticed your existence.

|Beings who ultimately ended up killing you yet again! Who would've thunked that you could've died two times in such a short period of time?| She asked in a rich, feminine British voice.

'So I really did die, huh'

Azmond didn't know how to feel about being told that he had died yet again

'Well, I guess I oughta be used to it by now.' He thought to himself with a light shrug.

...

Let us get back to why I was created.

Azmond was taken out of his reverie as his attention was brought back to the small beautiful woman on the blue interface screen.

I was created by you. Believe it or not! It sounds insane, I know! How could someone as awesome as I be made from someone like you!

"..."

Well, the process that led to me coming into being was actually far more complex than simply breaking that 'wall' could produce. But, so as not to fry what remains of what little brain cells you have left, I will just tell you that I was made to balance out the missing factor in existence!

You can think of me as a useful tool that will assist you in your journey! But don't think of me as 'that' kind of tool I don't have those functions available to me

She spoke in a meek tone as her face turned a deeper shade of red. Her eyes started darting around sporadically, while she began fidgeting with her small, dainty hands.

"..." Azmond was speechless.

'What is this girl getting all embarrassed for? She's clearly faking it, so what is the purpose of this little charade' He cringed a little while staring at the ongoing farce.

After a few seconds of waiting for the 'Boundless System' to give it up (which she never did), he decided that he needed to forcefully change the subject himself.

"Why did it take you so long to appear in front of me? I've been here for around 10 years now, and yet you've just come into my life now? What's up with that?" A small smile formed on Azmond's usually stoic face, followed by a slightly amused voice echoing out.

|Oh, that's simple. 10 years is but a drop in the ocean for higher existences. It took me 10 years just to transit through the back door of the Cosmos.| She responded in a dull, British voice.

Almost as if the entire play she was enacting never even happened

'This girl's shamelessness surpasses even mine! How can this be? She speaks of me doing the impossible. But in actuality, she is the one who has accomplished a task that shouldn't even be part of the equation!' A smidgen of respect began to build up inside Azmond's heart
