And Eldric could've sworn that he caught a glimpse of what looked to be a large luminescent moon somewhere on the 20th floor.

However, such a profound phenomenon disappeared as quickly as it came. At the time, the Old City Lord thought of it to be nothing more than a dream, as even with his Half-Step Until Form Synthesis Realm cultivation base, he couldn't even gleam the smallest detail from such an ominous anomaly.

All Eldric could tell Azmond was to be careful once he made it to the Luminous Grounds, for there was more than meets the eye to such a grandiose place.

'I can't imagine there being even more astounding things than a fucking blood-colored staircase that reaches the heavens, but what do I know? I'm just a reincarnator after all.'

Azmond shrugged his shoulders a little before moving his attention to two dots rapidly approaching from the distance!

"Why do I feel a sense of deja vu with this situation?"

Two Low-Rank Monster Kings of the Lycanthrope lineage appeared in front of Azmond and his gang in but an instant.

"State your name and identity, and you can be on your way," the first lycanthrope commanded.

Azmond couldn't help but think that this made for the perfect time to begin abusing his authority as a mighty and all-powerful 'High-Rank Foxkin Monster King'!

And it was such thoughts that led to his booming voice reverberating throughout the surroundings.

"Do you know who I am!? And you dare to obstruct my path!?!? Truly Courting Death!!"

Azmond's shout was followed by him crossing his arms over his silver-colored kimono before assuming an imperious stance!

Immense levels of energies rivaling those of someone in the Early Unity Form Synthesis Realm were unleashed from his fox-like form!

The two Low-Rank Monster Kings nearly fell to their knees from the overwhelming force being crushed on top of them!

They thought this silver foxkin was just a country bumpkin that came from the outside world; they didn't realize he was a High-Rank Monster King!

"We're extremely sorry, sir! Please go ahead and enter the Luminous Grounds!" X2

They both prostrated in mid-air, assuming expressions of reverence as they extended out their arms and invited him into the blood-colored, grandiose staircase worlda world that lay beyond the crystal line that separated them from Azmond, Boundless, and Emu.

"Hah! You finally realize who I am, eh!? That is good! Now tell me which direction will lead me to the residence of the High-Rank Monster King, Clawdia Moonweaver!"

Azmond ordered the two low-rank monster kings to do as he wished. And they would have no choice but to comply! After all, this was no longer the human world; this was the world of monsters!

And monsters were even more fervent when it came to the belief that power reigned supreme! Those weaker would be forced to do the bidding of whoever or whatever was stronger than them!

However, for some odd reason...

"What!? Sir, that is not possible! Do you not know who Clawdia Moonweaver is to the people of the Luminous Grounds!?" The second lycanthrope exclaimed.

He wore an astonished look on his face, almost like he had heard the silliest nonsense in the world! Go toward the residence of Clawdia Moonweaver!? Was this fox looking to die or something!?

'Hmm? What is up with these guys reactions? I don't recall the City Lord mentioning anything overly special about the High-Rank Monster King known as Clawdia Moonweaver'

Azmond pondered over the topic for a nanosecond before he brought his focus back to the two lycanthropes.

"What do you mean by that?" He unconsciously blurted out.

"Don't you know!? Clawdia Moonweaver had overthrown the rule of the previous Emperor of the Moon, her father!!"

The first lycanthrope practically shouted it at the top of his lungs! He couldn't believe there was a High-Ranking Monster King who didn't know of the switch in rulers!

"Ehh??... Err, I mean, I come from an extremely secluded Foxkin kingdom to the north and do not know of the current news!"

Azmond saved himself with a cough and some bullcrap before he entered yet another deep state of thought.

'What the hell!? I thought there were supposed to be Nine Monster Emperor's with no designated rulers among them! What the fuck was that old City Lord talking about!?'

Azmond was freaking out on the inside! How could the City Lord's information be so skewed from the reality of things!?

He had only left here less than a year ago! Were these two lycanthropes trying to tell him that so much had changed within a mere year!?

"I recall there being Nine Monster Emperor's who ruled over these lands; what happened to them?" Azmond inquired with a nonchalant tone.

The aloof and powerful persona had to be kept up if he wished to loot these Luminous Grounds of all the experience bags they were worth!

"Sir, are you really not aware of the changes that happened within the last year???"

How could someone so high up in strength be so oblivious to the ongoings of the Nightmare Council!?

Nonetheless, in spite of such thoughts, they responded to the clueless silver foxkin. After all, dems were the rules!

"There were indeed Nine Monster Emperors who ruled over the Luminous Grounds for thousands of years; however, that all changed when it was suddenly revealed that there was a mysterious emperor that stood atop an illusory 21st floor of the Luminous Grounds! And then-"

The first Lycanthrope continued to elaborate on the events that followed

A few minutes passed by, as Azmond was able to understand the gist of things.

Basically, there was this really strong old guy at the Peak of the Tribulation Transcendence Realm who covertly controlled all the movements of the Nine Monster Emperor's, until one day, the daughter of this old dude decided she had enough of his tyrannical rule!
