Chapter 379: Percival's Cage...
-
"..."
Marina felt an intense gaze focused on her as she looked toward Azmond and saw an unknown passion burn brightly inside his eyes.
She didn't know why, but for some reason, she liked that look of his more than any other.
It was a look that reminded her of what she thought her ideal husband should've had when she was younger.
Of course, life hit right in the gut for having those whimsical thoughts as a young woman.
However, those long lost feelings suddenly came back like an unrelenting barrage on her psyche, as the way she looked at Azmond started to change.
If before, she put on a flirtatious persona just to get back at him, then now, she was truly beginning to feel something for the man she had known for half a year.
Marina wasn't even aware of these feelings herself, just like a certain catkin woman, but they were there regardless.
"..." She felt her heart pounding a little inside her chest as she was about to send out her divine sense, but before she could
"Are you doing okay, My Dear? You're as red as a beat," Azmond said.
*Tap*
"!?" She felt a warm yet cold hand touch her forehead as she backed up a little before a deeper blush formed on her face, as she said, "I-I told you to stop calling me that! And don't touch my forehead without permission!"
"Oh~?" Azmond's smile grew at such a reaction as he said, "So it's fine if I touch you as long as I ask for permission~? And who was the one begging to be pampered earlier~?"
Marina became a little embarrassed when she remembered her past wanton actions as she replied, "Th-That was different!"
"Ho~? And how was that different~?" Azmond asked.
He had already made his way to the sexy figure of the Milf Queen as he lifted up his knee and put it between her legs before lightly slamming her into a wall.
BAM!
"!?" Marina was taken aback by the abrupt action of Azmond, but when she felt his knee rub up against her already wet holy cave, her expression became a little sensual as a moan nearly escaped her mouth.
"Mhmmf~! Y-You" She grumbled.
"Me what~?" Azmond interjected with a sly grin.
"Rub Rub*
His knee rubbed up even harder against her sopping wet cave.
And just as things were about to escalate between the two of them, Azmond suddenly felt someone tap him on the back.
"Hmm?" He looked behind him to see who it was, but when he saw the darkened face of Clawdia appear, he knew he had fucked up
Azmond was supposed to help her with the matter regarding her father, and yet he had gotten a little 'preoccupied'.
"... Listen, I can explain" He murmured.
"There is no need," she replied with a chilling tone.
"Clawdia"
He started sweating buckets as he observed the face she was making, as her grip on his shoulders tightened.
*Snap!*
It didn't take long before his shoulder blade shattered, as he was pulled away from Marina and thrown into a random direction.
BOOOOOOOOM!!
He was sent uncontrollably spiraling into a castle a few thousand miles away!
And just as he thought he would destroy the castle in its entirety, he suddenly hit an extremely hard black surface somewhere in the midway point of his tunneling through the castle.
"..." Azmond got up from the collision sight, as he stretched his regenerated arms a little.
After a few milliseconds passed, he scanned his surroundings and noticed that only a portion of the castle had gone to ruin.
'How unusual' He thought.
Azmond stopped looking around, as he focused his gaze on what lay below him.
And after blowing away a bit of the rubble, he was able to uncover an extremely robust black surface spread throughout the entire interior of the castle's deepest depths.
"Is this what I think it is?" He questioned.
Following his question, he immediately used his Discerning Quantum Eye and was able to discern the truth of the unknown black surface.
"Percival's cage" He muttered.
That's right! He had somehow ended up right where Clawdia was wanting him to go by Clawdia herself!
Not long after he discovered the mystery of the black surface, seven other figures blurred in from behind him.
FWIP! FWIP! FWIP!
Calista, Ember, Clover, Medusa, Marina, Clawdia, and Boundless, all appeared next to Azmond, as they looked at the unusual black surface as well.
"...What are those red streaks?" Calista asked with a curious voice.
She had her hand pointed at a few red lines that spread throughout the black surface and occasionally flickered a little.
"Those are the residue auras of the Monster Overseers," Clawdia replied.
It didn't take her long at all to piece everything together as she had already deduced what the black surface was.
"...It's father's aura!" Calista suddenly exclaimed.
She could barely feel it, but it was there! She knew it was!
"..." Clawdia had already realized that as well, as she turned her gaze toward Azmond and asked, "Can you help me get through this barrier?"
"I don't have a sufficient comprehension in a number of laws like you do, and it would be tough to get through this barrier without a certain number of laws comprehended," she added.
Clawdia had already been informed of the absurd number of laws that he had acquired a great comprehension in, as she wasn't even surprised over the absurdities surrounding Azmond anymore.
She had become accustomed to his absurdness after he had told her of a magical and wondrous way to get stronger by merely killing monsters and other beings.
After that, the things he told her he was capable of kept on coming in droves. And one of those 'things' just so happened to be related to his ridiculous number of comprehended laws.
