Chapter 415: Thalia
She was expecting the entire place to have been turned into a bloodbath; however, what she never could've predicted was that the one who caused the bloodbath was the wolf-masked man.
Her eyes widened after seeing the silver-haired divine prince nowhere in sight as she asked, "What happened here!?"
*Jiggle Jiggle*
Thalia's milky white pillows bounced around a little as she jumped around the room, attempting to find any trace of the Divine Prince.
However, no matter where she looked, she couldn't find him
The only people in sight were the wolf-masked man and the short catkin loli who latched onto his head.
It didn't take her long to put two and two together as she asked, "...Did you?"
"Yep," Azmond interjected before he walked over to the brightly lit altar with Calista in tow.
"Can you hurry up and get this activation ceremony started? We've been waiting here quite a while after all," he inquired with an indifferent tone.
It was like he believed that the Divine Prince's disappearance had nothing to do with him
"..."
Thalia wore a baffled expression as she looked at Azmond like she was looking at a lab experiment.
But regardless of her astonishment, she still had her duty to uphold, so that's exactly what she did as she walked up to him and gave him two vials.
"T-These are vials filled with a certain type of liquid called the 'Holy Liquid'. It's what you will need to drink before dipping your heads in the Holy Water over there," she explained with a jittery tone as she pointed toward a small pool filled with an unknown, murky white liquid.
Azmond observed the vials in his hands and made sure the white liquid within was not any 'suspicious substance' before he handed one to Calista.
"It's safe to drink, but don't drink too fast or you'll choke," he reminded her with an affectionate voice.
"Mhmm" Calista bobbed her head a little before she unwrapped her tail from Azmond's head and got down onto the floor.
She may have gotten off his head, but she refused to let go of his hand due to the spooky nature of the altar room.
Azmond noticed this as well, but he didn't mind it in the least, as he said, "On the count of one."
"Three Two One"
After he reached one, both he and Calista drank the mysterious 'Holy Liquid' at the same time.
Following the consumption of the liquid as it slid down their throats, a bright, effulgent light suddenly erupted from within their bodies!
It brightened up the whole room, causing the once-spooky aura to vanish in an instant!
And after the light was unleashed from their bodies, Thalia watched the changes happening within the light as she took out a crystal ball.
It seemed like she was waiting for something to happen on the surface of the crystal ball.
And it didn't take long before she got the reaction she was expecting, as the crystal ball lit up in a color that matched what was being emitted from Azmond and Calista.
A color that just so happened to be a dark crimson red and blue mix for Azmond, while it was a light and vibrant spring green for Calista.
"I-I have never seen readings like his before" Thalia muttered as she made sure the colors were matching.
After checking a few times, she had all but verified that what was happening was the truth of the situation.
However, it made no sense! She had been activating professions for thousands of years, and yet she had never heard of anybody having a profession with a red and blue crimson color!
Furthermore, it didn't look like his profession analysis was done yet, as the body and red crimson color started to have some starry hues mixed somewhere in the middle!
Following this new shade of starry light coalescing into the light, yet another darkish purple and pink color was imbued into the energy being released out of Azmond!
"What the hell is his profession!?" Thalia exclaimed as she couldn't get the crystal ball reader to designate a specific Class.
On the other hand, the crystal ball had already indicated that Calista would obtain the profession that was known as a 'Fate Weaver'.
Thalia was astounded that someone had finally obtained the 'Fate Weaver' after thousands of years of no one being born with it, but more than that, she was far more curious about what the Wolf Masked Man would receive as a profession!
After a few minutes of Azmond and Calista being enveloped in their respective lights, the brightness in the room suddenly died down as both of them emerged with entirely different auras coming off of them.
Calista possessed a mystical and an almost overpoweringly mysterious aura, while Azmond's aura was something akin to a cage beast that had been let loose into the world!
But at the same time, his aura was refined and calm
And those weren't the only qualities it possessed, as his aura felt like one that an imperious ruler who had ruled for countless years owned.
Furthermore, there was also this ever-imposing translucent red and blue spiraling aspect in the aura that made it seem like Azmond was everlasting and untouchable throughout the ages!
It was nigh impossible to describe exactly what the aura indicated his distinctive feature would be; however, the one thing that Thalia did understand was that Azmond was a monster
He was an aberration, an anomaly, a freak of nature!
Even after minutes of scanning, the crystal ball profession tester could not ascertain which profession he possessed
A few more minutes passed as Azmond and Calista had already dipped their heads in the 'Holy Water'.
They were now patiently waiting for the results of their profession activation to be released.
And finally, something changed within the crystal ball!
