Chapter 76: The Forces!
But, the problem was the enemies did the Same.
In this case, the 6 Humans will fight against the 6 non-humans.
and how did that happen?
We have to go back to when the forces just met.
Commander David was leading his army through the Core Area. They had to fight against all kinds of high-ranking monsters, but with an EX-Rank on the lead, it was a breeze.
Draco The Spy was following them from behind, enjoying the high-quality boons left behind by uncaring murderers.
One thing he noticed was that the SSS-Rank monsters didn't give Affinities 2 ranks above their own; they gave the same thing as SS-Rank monsters, plain old EX-Rank Affinities with a 0.000% understanding rate.
This made Draco understand that only those of the rank above EX-Rank can give affinities of that same rank, or something else was in play.
When the Imperial Force approached the heart, they were suddenly stopped by the commander.
A few seconds later, a new force emerged from the trees and the Army immediately recognized them. It was the Blaze Faction of the Celestial Academy, led by an old EX-Rank scholar.
The scholar looked kind and wore a long blue robe and while walking, he supported himself with a large wand. His aura was unfathomable and his white hair looked like it had a mind of its own. His silver eyes read people like an open book, and Demeanor was that of a friendly grandpa.
He saw Commander David and waved his hand with a smile.
Commander David saw him and nodded his head before he turned around to face his army and ordered them to move forward.
The two forces walked side by side, and the two EX-Ranks leading them came closer to each other, shook hands, and continued on the way while talking.
Draco wondered if they noticed him, but even if they did, they wouldn't be able to kill him so the best thing they could do was to let him be.
And that was exactly what happened.
Commander David wasn't sure, actually, he had some suspicions that somebody was following them, as told by his Law of Commanding.
But, when the Elder came, he asked him if he noticed the sneaky rat following the trail of leftovers, and Commander David had his suspicions proved.
But, they quickly came to the conclusion that they would let him be because someone not afraid to follow them was either too dumb, or too confident.
And in both cases, they didn't have to do anything.
As they moved, they came into contact with another force and then another, and when they met the second academy faction, they were already able to see the rotating and pulsing heart made out of wood clearly.
The Heart required only a single person to be alive in its area for him to claim it, thus, a Battle was inevitable.
When the humans were about to start battling it out with each other, the Vampires showed up.
and then the Witches, and lastly…
"My My, what a wide option of choices for me to pick frommhm. Sweethearts, who wants to spend a joyous evening with me?" a voice resounded through the Heart Zone.
everybody tensed.
S-Ranks lost their Mind, SS-Ranks felt themselves burning up, and SSS-Ranks barely held onto their desires.
only the EX-Ranks exploded their Auras outward and every single one of them faced the one who spoke.
The Slut, an Anagram for Lust.
She was the Sovereign Of the Deadly Sin Of Lust. The One and Only, Globally Recognized, Hoe. She was wearing nothing but a skimpy string that did nothing to cover any of her private parts.
Followed closely by the hideous, fat, and fugly Demon Sovereign of the Deadly Sin of Greed.
"Now now, don't look at me like thaaaat, it's arousing meee." She turned around, holding her private parts.
Indeed, she was beautiful, she was so beautiful you would ignore every single red flag and jump on her. However, she was the kind of girl a true man wouldn't even look in her direction.
While the humans were showing utter hostility, the vampires weren't so against them, and the witches were just neutral.
The first phase of the battle was already won by the Demons, and that was the utter annihilation of lower-ranked beings.
S-Ranks were already done, Aside from the demons, every single one of them was either killing their friends or themselves in the background.
indeed, no one cared because they were disposable in the first place and they themself knew they had close to 0% chance of coming out alive of this ordeal.
The previously calm scenery around the Heart was now painted in madness and Blood.
The Heart started pulsing madly, clearly enjoying the show.
The Forest was trembling in anticipation, waiting for the Fated one to claim it.
Draco was watching everything from the sidelines, he was waiting for the right time to move.
The Ex-Ranks didn't move.
The humans looked at each other first and despite their differences, they immediately bonded together but this…
"Well isn't that quite disadvantageous for us?" One of the Vampire Sovereigns said.
He looked at the humans and then at the Witches before he faced the demons.
The witches understood what was going on and one of the two EX-Ranks, who looked serious opposite the second, who looked like the silent type, said.
"We're in. We'll finish them off and then deal with each other."
The Demons, however, weren't quite happy with the proposition, Greed especially.
He wanted it all himself, he wanted the Heart of the Forest and the Hear of everybody else, even the Slut's next to him.
However, he had no choice in this case. Indeed, he was ugly even with him saying otherwise, he was fat even with him saying he was lean, and he was greedy, which he was proud of, but he wasn't dumb, as everybody knew.
and so the Teams were formed.
The battle became fast-paced the second the demons entered the scene and the S-ranks who formed the majority were already minorities.
SS-Ranks were considered excused from the battle and just liabilities, as they had to amputate a limb or two to stop their intrusive thoughts from making them lose their minds like their comrades.
The SSS-Ranks were still capable of fighting, but compared to before, they only had less than 50% of their full power.
and only the EX-Ranks were unfazed by the Slut's tricks.
Only the Demons still had their forces intact, but that wouldn't last long, because, every single EX-Rank here was capable of doing something similar to what she did.
Draco was highly expectant of what the EX-Ranks were capable of with their laws.
The first to move was Commander David with his spear.
He raised it to the sky and the temperature around the heart area reached Hellish degrees, Light couldn't be reflected in those present's eyes, and the SSS- ranks around every single race other than humans started moving strangely.
The previously debuffed weren't struggling anymore and looked like they were capable of unleashing even more destructiveness than they ever could.
This was the power of Commander David, the holder of the job [Sovereign Crimson Commander].
He had not one, not two, not three, but four EX-Rank affinities.
Out of everyone here, he was undoubtedly the strongest.
He held an understanding exceeding 1% of the Law of Light as well as of the Law of Commanding.
And he had an understanding exceeding 2.5% of the Law of Fire, and last but not least, he had an understanding exceeding 5% of the Law of the Spear.
It seemed low, but in no way could it be considered that way.
It was not just a few thousand times stronger than an initial EX-Rank, no, it meant much more than that.
Law understanding had Milestones. 1% was the first and it was hard for any being to cross, Crossing it meant an overall increase of 10 times to all aspects.
and keep in mind that Understanding just 0.001% Of a Law gives one a 10% Increase in all stats and a +100% in that specific Laws Damage, Effectiveness, etc…
The second milestone is 2.5% and it also gave a 5-times increase in Overall stats, then the 5% Milestone with a 2.5-times increase, and after that, the 10%, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 99.99% Milestone with a 2-times increase each.
Does this apply to every law? The answer is no, There are some Laws that are higher ranked than others and they give 2–5 times as many benefits every milestone.
Space, Fate, Time, Life, Death, and lastly, Mana were some of them, to name a few.
But all of this didn't matter for Draco, what mattered was… Their Effects.
-----End-----
