Chapter 176: Who to Bless?
"It matters not. Fate is gone now; let's focus at the more important matters we have at hand." Truth stopped Life and Night from saying anything further.
"young man, even if you want to become a world devourer right now, you can't leave the bubble yet. Let's wait until the anti-celestials visit for their check-up and after that, we can plan forward." Truth addressed Draco.
"I was planning to do that and It seems that Love has something prepared for me too." Draco reassured and then looked at Love.
"Don't worry about that; it won't be anytime soon." She chuckled and said.
"That's about it. While we wait for those bastards, you guys can look for some potential younglins to bless." Truth said as he addressed all 3 ascended.
"By the way, Truth." Seeing as they were about to disperse, Night stopped Truth as there was something in his mind that needed an answer.
"What is it, Night?" Truth looked at him and asked, still looking tired and heavy minded.
"Don't give me that. Where's your goofy attitude? The constant laughter and the nonchalant attitude? You know that when you're feeling down this whole floor gets gloomy." Night said, his rare compassionate part was shown now that a large worry of his had a solution.
But, in truth, he wasn't the only one wanting to ask that same question. They knew, they knew the reason Truth was down the past few days was because of the death of Fate, however, he normally got right back to business the next day.
*Sigh*
Truth sighed and shook his head.
"I was just in no mood to drink these days, I was planning on diving right now that I feel like it." Was his reply.
"Oh, alright then. Don't take too long." Night, Hearing this, nodded and disappeared.
"Let's go, Alexander." Love and Alexander teleported away once again.
Truth went to his corner and Life back to her private quarters, leaving Draco and Leona alone in their place.
"I see you've changed." Draco still looking at the place where Truth once was asked Leona, before he turned to look at her.
"Is that so? Haha, I guess, maybe." Leona was embarrassed that she was discovered so quickly, though it was good that she wasn't the only one thinking that what happened on the 3rd floor had influenced her.
"Yeah, it's quite obvious; your whole aura is different." Draco confirmed.
"Something unexpected happened that resulted in this; it was completely out of my control." Leona replied as she sat right where she was. The garden around them was beautiful and wherever you sat, it felt like you were sleeping in a cloud.
Draco sat close to her slowly, before they both immersed themselves in the beauty of the world they were in.
"Who would have thought." Leona initiated.
"Indeed, who would have thought that just 30 years later, after we met, we would be standing at the peak of the world like this?" Draco continued her talk.
"You sure know me well, and here I thought I'd changed." Leona smiled widely while looking at Draco.
"You might change however you want; the way you think remains the same; it's just the way you act that changes." Draco replied.
"Maybe..." And Leona looked back at the sky.
"What race do you plan on choosing to bless?" She asked, thinking about her own choice.
"What other race than the ultimate one I made with my own hands." Draco replied.
"Even for the past 25 years, I've been perfecting them." He added.
"How?" Leona, not knowing anything about how Draco further perfected the gomen, asked.
"Simple. I've had them fight and traverse the whole world; there was no race they failed to defeat, other than one." He replied, looking at her with a smile.
"You mean us?" Her eyes opened wide.
"Yeah. since they already had access to the prison, all I did was send them there and have them disperse, fight the filthy, the beastmen, and the banished ones."
"So you did go for the beastmen." Leona pointed her finger at Draco; her face said 'I guessed it'.
"Why wouldn't I? I had them fight every single lineage you have, and let me just tell you, the powers some of them have right now are out of the world." Draco shook his head; His achievement was just too good to be true.
"It was a 25 years project. If I managed to make them the strongest race in 3 years, you can only imagine how they would become in 25." Draco smiled, looking at the sky again.
"I guess not even the dragons were spared." Leona followed his gaze and stared at the endless expanse of the void.
"Dragons? Haha, you think too lowly of me, dear Leona." Draco, hearing Leona's remark, laughed.
"What did you do?" Hearing the way Draco spoke, Leona had a bad feeling.
"You fought in the tribulations, right? You saw how many different power systems and races there were." Draco asked, still looking at the sky.
"Yeah... I did." Leona squinted her eyes, she knew where this was going.
"Well, just a little info for you, the prison realm is endless, and there are countless stations under the jurisdiction of other worlds." He said.
"Does that mean what I think it means?" Leona sucked in a cold breath, her mind was going blank from the way Draco did things.
"Indeed, it does. They only had 20 years, so all I did was disperse them in various places, they went for other races, other planets with completely different power systems." Draco said.
"And in the last 5 years, I had them create the new generation."
