Chapter 219: Grand Massacre! 2
The way it worked was by making everybody within a set distance lose all senses and not be able to escape the skill, in exchange, the user himself, along his allies, will also lose their senses.
Now, the battle indeed took an unexpected twist that even Draco didn't expect, but there were always ways around anything.
The celestial of night himself, of course, knew how to maneuver in such an environment. His allies, however, didn't, but this was quite logical because no one would like to have all of their trump cards known by anybody.
Draco tried to look around, feel, and sense where he was, but no matter what he tried to do, it was to no avail.
He couldn't even sense himself moving, his orientation, or even pain. Nothing at all.
It was indeed such a broken skill to be caught in, one wouldn't even know it if he died. Draco, however, had many ways to break out of this spell, or even use it to his advantage.
Laws and Authorities weren't only about overpowered skills; they were also there to push the limits of whatever concept they represented. The same way intelligence pushed the boundaries of how one could use the information they manage to absorb, and senses pushes the limits of what one could feel, see, taste, and hear, other authorities could do the same.
Out of the many authorities Draco had, there were quite a few that could help him out of this predicament.
{Unseen Projection} Draco made a spell on the spot with the help of his system. This spell worked in a way that defied the very restrictions put about by the {Death Game} spell.
While one did nothing but block all senses and didn't get canceled until either side was defeated, the other used the past memories one had and then went on to form a mental map that they could use to pinpoint enemies through a series of calculations and predictions.
"You just made yourself easier to kill." Draco spoke his thoughts, but, nobody not even himself, could hear what he said.
One thing remained true… His words!
{Heinous Calamities} Draco spelled out. If one could still see within this sea of darkness, they would watch as a pillar of crimson light flashed out on Draco's hands as a pair of blades connected by chains appeared in his hands.
This weapon, that he came to know of its usefulness through using it against fate, came to show its might once again against stronger enemies. It was only made this time, its strength many times that of the previous ones, the blades called {Fate Killers}
Draco clenched his hands around the blades, although he couldn't feel but his projection made him simulate the feeling flawlessly. Through his mental image, he could pinpoint many dots and possibilities of where the celestials could be. Through many analysis and calculations, he knew exactly where to find a couple of his target.
*Fwshhhh*
In a split second, Draco launched himself towards his enemy, the celestials of weapons. Though he could take care of anyone at the moment, he preferred to start with the one he decided to kill first.
*Slash*
Not wasting anytime, Draco took care of his first enemy's prediction and went on to the next. Though there were eight celestials, with their exact locations unknown and Draco's sharp calculations, that number rose to approximately 22.
Thus, he had to try and kill every celestial by attacking their projections in his mind.
The high celestial of weapons was surprised that night used a spell he didn't know, then night absorbed his experiences and he couldn't feel anything. He panicked and then calmed down as he used his experience to also pinpoint Draco's location.
This took a while but through calculations and millions of years of battles, he could also create a semblance of a projection in his mind. Unfortunately, the second he wanted to launch himself at Draco's projection… It looked at him.
And then…
*Slash* *Slash* *Slash*
Not even a milli-second after Draco looked at him, he imagined himself slashed into a thousand pieces and right after that, he couldn't control himself anymore. His brain failed to make him move, it just stopped and through multiple trials and errors, it came to a complete halt and then even his mental image went blurry.
And that… was the death of the high celestial of weapons.
Though he managed to take care of one enemy, Draco was far from done. By now, he still had to deal with 19 predictions… 20 now.
'Twenty? It changed, huh?' Draco thought to himself as he looked at a dark silhouette that was moving like a shadow through the darkness.
It swirled around like a fish, with him at the center, making Draco stop in his place to observe.
21, 22, 23… Second after second, the predictions he had of Night's movements started to change as the celestial was far more experienced with his own spell than expected.
'24, 25, 26, 27, and… 16.' The second Draco counted to sixteen, he held his blades high and, in one slash, put the moving silhouette to a halt.
In his attempt to confuse Draco and use that to his advantage to take care of him, Night managed to do the exact opposite of that. Unfortunately for him, Draco was far more of a monster than he thought and in a few seconds, he understood the pattern Night was using and killed him in one try.
And after that… It was but a grand massacre of six helpless high celestials.
