Chapter 236: Messing Up the Anti-Celestials’ Plans!
In a split second, Draco managed to locate Truth, Time, and Night. Now, all he had to do was teleport over and do his deed.
As for the station below that was long destroyed? What would he do? Bring it back? Why would he? His cute little Elfina finally did something he liked; he wasn't going to ruin it.
The first celestial he teleported over to was Truth. Of course he would; he was here for him after all.
"It's sad to see you like this, old man." Draco said. His long blue hair was fluttering with the wind and the black robe he was wearing instead of the demonic armor was dancing along with it.
"You shouldn't be here, young man." Truth, who was held afloat with transparent chains, was still dangling with his eyes closed, but from the voice he could easily guess who it was. After all, who was crazy enough to come to the prison realm.
"Fate is back, old man. I'm pretty sure you'd love to go on adventures with your pal." Draco stated, but in fact, he was more interested in creating another deva.
He found it more useful to use a template, in this case, a celestial, to form a deva than to make one from scratch.
"Fate is… back?" Truth opened his eyes and raised his head to face Draco. One look and he stood in silence.
"Y- you… Haha, young bastard, I know you could do it." Truth laughed when he felt the aura emitted out from Draco.
"To think you will become a high celestial this fast? How much time had passed out there, 2 years? 5 years?" Truth asked.
How much time had passed since Draco became a devourer? He had already spent more than three weeks after ascension in Portalia and that directly translated to 25 years or more.
Then the Time was purged and Draco got out to start his devouring journey. And from there, more than a few years had passed. It took a couple months to travel, then he met Yapa, and after that events happened, and now, around 10 years has gone by, Draco's time.
The young demon who started out as an imp was now 42 years old.
"Time matters not, Truth. I still have to get the other two out, so decide. Do you want to get out, or do you want to rot here?" Draco asked.
"What kind of question is that, little bastard? Get me the fuck out of here." Truth smiled and said.
"Very well." Draco smiled back.
{Chaos Death}
"Huh?" Not understanding what happened, Truth felt like a blur passed by and when he woke up again, he was in some strange island; to his left and right, there was Time and Night, looking as confused as he was.
"Did you just…" Looking at Draco, who was in front of him, Truth asked the question that was running in his mind. Did Draco just kill him?
"Yes, I did. What do you think will happen if the anti-celestials were to check you guys out and find nothing? I had to put a decoy there." Draco explained, his gaze sweeping around them. He wanted to understand what he created.
Draco had killed Truth and the others with but a single spell, then he devoured them, and used clones to re-chain himself in their places. Useless clones; that way, no problems would occur.
Then he used his body back in Hestia to form the new devas of Truth & Revenge, Time & History, Night & Evil.
"Truth, my friend… is that really you?" Out of nowhere, Joie, who had been watching the progress of his chosen one in the great realm of Hestia, which had a day to 90 years difference too, got up from his place and came closer to take a look at Truth.
"It's time too, and night? Old friends, I'm happy to be able to see you all once again." Joie smiled warmly.
"Fate, my friend. To think we will get a chance to meet once again like this, and in such a way." Truth felt emotional.
"Indeed, an endless future of glory and no blade over our neck awaits." Joie nodded.
"What a joyful day indeed." Time smiled.
"Thank you, Chaos." Night looked at Fate and then back at Draco before he expressed his gratitude.
"Don't think too much about it, I have my own reasons to do so." Draco said before he disappeared, not to be seen for a long time again.
"By the way, my friends." Joie spoke, gaining the attention of all three new devas.
"My name is not Fate anymore." He said.
"Hoh? And what is it?" Tme asked.
"Interesting…" Truth put his hand on his chin before hearing Fate's new name and contemplated deeply.
"It's Joie. It means Joy." Joie explained.
"One fine name you chose for yourself." Time said.
"Indeed." Night, Joie, and Truth agreed.
"That's a good idea." Truth then added.
"I hereby declare that, from this day onward, my name is no longer Truth, but Wine Lord!" Truth stated.
"It's not supposed to be like that, Hahaha. You really didn't change, Wine." Joie laughed joyfully after hearing Truth's new name. This guy would never be serious if he didn't have to.
"What are you talking about? It's the best name possible." Wine Lord defended himself.
"Sure sure." Joie shook his head with a smile.
"Then let my name be, Ancient Scholar." Time stated.
"I will be Ash." Night added.
"Very beautiful indeed, my brothers. Bring the wine! Let us feast to celebrate this grand day!" Wine shouted.
"Let me." Out of nowhere, Light and Future appeared next to the group of 4 with floating wine gourds.
"I hope you don't mind us joining."
"The more, the merrier!"
