Chapter 490: A Surprise...
As Azmond's razor-sharp tail shot out, it was fair to say that not a single one of the four Fourth Cataclysm Tribulation Transcendance Realm Marquises was given the chance to react…
And after their existences were diced up into billions of pieces, a slimy black tendril enveloped what remained of their bodies.
CHOMP!
Everything that remained of the four Marquises was subsequently devoured by Emu, as Azmond received a few system notifications from within the IronHeart Mansion.
A wolf-masked man was talking to Eldric and Mark as his tail flickered for a split second before a few bright blue and gold lights appeared in his vision.

Following these system notifications, Azmond felt a slight increase in strength as he focused his attention back on the pair of father and son that were talking to him.
A few minutes passed by as Azmond finished up his talk with the two Old Dude's, his body already getting up off a luxurious leather couch.
And just as he was about to make it to the blue spiraling stairs with Boundless, Emu, and Calista, a friendly voice sounded out from behind him.
"If you wish to build up powerful relations, Young Lord Azmond, then you must become acquainted with the AquaRing family that has decided to stay here while the Queen's husband is in the SubBurn Kingdom with his brother."
Eldric's voice echoed out as he pointed at a nearby square window, his finger aiming at the enormous blue sea-shelled castle that essentially popped up overnight.
Azmond was reminded of those troublesome sisters as he shuddered a little before speeding up the stairs.
"I will keep that in mind, old dudes…" He muttered while his figure practically teleported up the stairs.
"..." "..."
Mark and Eldric looked at each other with confused expressions before Eldric suddenly said, "We forgot to bring up the matter of the First Demon Princess of the Demon Empire, Aya Starshire, and one of the Seven Holy Sisters of the Holy Cathedral moving in on the other side of the mansion…"
The BranchMaster's sight focused on the purple, pinkish, and dark gold mansions being constructed by magicians on the right side of the IronHeart Mansion.
Mark followed his son's eyes as he sighed a little before saying, "I'm sure that Young Lord Azmond will know of their existences when he sees that they enrolled in the AquaRing Academy right along with him…"
"I had also heard that the maids of the Queen, all three of the daughters of the Queen, and even the Queen's mother would be in the Academy of AquaRing as well," he added with a contemplative look on his face.
The Old Duke had no idea why so many high-standing figures suddenly felt like enrolling in the Royal Academy of AquaRing, but it wasn't really any of his business, so he decided to leave it all up to the youngsters.
Eldric looked at his tired father for a moment before he said, "It looks like Young Lord Azmond is in for quite a surprise, and at such an auspicious date, as the World Devouring Worms will be here within the next four years."
*Sigh…* A sigh escaped Mark's mouth as he was reminded of those apocalyptic existences that marked their small blue marble for destruction.
"We still have those members of the Heaven Exploding Faction, and since Young Lord Azmond is one of the sect members, maybe we can find a way to ask him to help us out a little when it comes to contacting the Man Beyond the Stars," he conferred after a moment of thought.
The BranchMaster looked at his father grasping onto straws of hope, as he said, "Maybe, father. But in the end, all we can do is help Young Lord Azmond in any way we can."
"Indeed."
Mark's facial features seemed to age by a few years as he realized that even despite his old age, he was still attempting to curry favor with a youngster who was less than one thousand years old…
And as they were on the topic of acquiring favor, Eldric suddenly had a sense of realization hit him in the side of the head as he looked at his black haired disciple.
Elara was watching everyone talk while acting as a mere bystander, but when she saw the intense gaze of her master hone in on her, a bad feeling sprouted up inside her.
However, before she could even understand where that feeling originated from, two smiling expressions appeared in front of her face.
"Uhmm… Yes, Master…?" Elara questioned with a nervous look on her face.
"There's no need to be so anxious, beloved disciple of mine!" Eldric began with a crooked smile as he and his father approached the confused, black-eyed woman from two different sides.
"You have been looking for a suitable husband as of late; have you not, beloved disciple of mine?" The BranchMaster asked with his hands rubbing together.
"!!!" Elara's bad feeling came back ten times stronger, as she knew exactly where this conversation was going.
It can't be… Master wouldn't do that to me…
She believed that her master would never have her do something so scandalous, but contrary to her expectations, the BranchMaster asked, "Why don't we send you to the Royal Academy of AquaRing?? You always said you wanted to go to school like everyone else, so why don't we make perfect use of this chance!?"
After these words escaped her master's smiling mouth, Elara slumped into her chair, as she just knew that her master would do this to her…
