" I am warning you again."

" Do you think these empty threats would work against me?" Bella heard her speak through the door. She wasn\'t loud like usual probably because she thought Samuel was beside her.

" Sami! Do you know the sweater-"

" Alright! Stop!" Kate hurriedly opened the door and dragged her inside. She didn\'t want him to look at him funny knowing her secret!

" Look you are wearing it right now too. Why don\'t you simply come out and have dinner with him?" Bella looked Kate wearing the overlong sweater that Samuel left for her. Kate didn\'t know why but whenever she felt stress, she would wrap herself in it which instantly calmed her down.

" I can\'t but I will have the food." Kate took the tray and sat on the bed digging straight into the food. She couldn\'t deny her natural urges to eat.

" I heard that you saw that bastard today." Kate paused for brief second, she expected Samuel to tell Bella what happened. Even if he didn\'t, she would have told her eventually.

" You even hurt yourself." Bella grabbed her left hand and began looking at her wound. It was much worse that she expected probably because Kate was wearing long nails for the evening, they managed to dig substantially deeper under her palm.

Bella rummaged around Kate\'s drawer and pulled out disinfectant and some bandages. Everyone should have first aid in their house but it was their first time using it. Bella silently began treating her, Kate did flinch few times but she didn\'t say not to it.

" I didn\'t know you still got tensed about it. You know it\'s not right to suppress your emotions. The longer you let it fester the worse it would get over time." Bella added but didn\'t get any response from Kate.

" I have known you for a long time and I know when something is bothering you. What are you so worried about?" She held her hand and asked again. She wanted to know what was in her heart. From what she had heard from Samuel, it felt like Kate had been trying hard to push him away.

Her friend finally had someone that she would rely on, Bella didn\'t want her to ruin it all over again. It was hard to admit when she doubted his intentions first but he seemed to be a good fit for Kate.

" It\'s that..... I didn\'t know what Brett told him. I never should have run away at that time. I felt like it was a mistake. He also said some heinous things in front of Emma, I know she didn\'t tell him about it but he would find out eventually." Kate said softly.

" Why are you fixating on that? Didn\'t you tell him everything last night?" Bella didn\'t hear their full conversation because she was asleep but the way they were going at it after that indicated to her that they moved on from it.

" I don\'t know. Even I don\'t remember what happened that day, I passed out and woke up in the hospital. If you didn\'t tell me that I was not....you know, I would have thought of lost everything. But that would never stop him from saying things that we both know that only he knows. I thought it was okay when I told Sami everything but it\'s only what I remembered- Ouch! Why did you hit me?"

Bella flicked her forehead with everything she got. She couldn\'t believe Kate was thinking such pointless scenarios!

" He doesn\'t care. If you keep doubting yourself it would only hurt your relationship!" She exclaimed trying to drill this fact in her head. She knew if Kate didn\'t get over it she would always be struck in the past.

" You mean our relationship." Kate gave her a smirk.

" W-what? I never agree to it! Don\'t make up shit along the way!" Bella flinched feeling the conversation turn towards her.

" That\'s rich coming from someone trying to give me life advice. At least I am not lying to myself! Hey, watch it!" Kate put her arms up seeing Bella readying the only weapon beside her: the metal tray!

" Seems like you were faking it since the beginning! I can\'t believe I trusted you!"

" That\'s what I was saying, you can deny it all you want but last night orgasms-" Bella covered her mouth before she crossed the obscenity line!

" Shut up! Finish the food, I need to clean up and check up on him if he needs something."

" Right.." Kate suddenly became sad again. After fun and games, the question still remained how she was going to face him again. She also felt a little guilty ignoring him during the entire drive here.

" Worry not my friend, take some time to gather your thoughts while I keep him here." Bella could sense her sadness immediately so she tapped her shoulder and proclaimed confidently.

" That\'s seems inappropriate. He is a busy man, I mean you should have seen how much people liked him. They were cheering on and on while many important people would come and greet him voluntarily."

" I said what I said, there is no harm in him staying over right? After all there is no business meeting at night."

" What are you going to do?" Kate asked.

" What else?" Bella pulled her arms together perking up her breast and gave Kate a seductive look.

" I can\'t believe you are willing to do it. I mean last time you cursed him for two hours straight as soon as you woke up. I will not let your sacrifice go in vain." Kate teared up making it overly dramatic.

" What? No, I will not sleep with him but I can make it harder for him to leave. I mean who can resist this body!"

" Oh..that, good luck then." Kate tried hard not to laugh. It wasn\'t because she thought her friend was ugly, it was the overconfidence that she rarely showed. Ultimately, she wanted her to succeed. They talked for few more minutes before Bella left taking the plates with her.

" Good night." She said softly pulling up the sheet and sliding closer to him.

"umm...Good night." He replied.

He had seen what she was wearing, a pink short top that barely covered her hips. He was only able to get a glimpse of it before she turned off the light. It was semi transparent with floral design covering the borders that kept him guessing whether she was wearing anything underneath.

As soon as she came closer, his nose was assaulted by her scent. It was light fruity, floral and musky scent that smells like a fancy perfume but it was probably her shampoo. He slid to the side, giving her some more space. It was dangerous for him to be so close to her without getting frisky.

Just as he thought he was safe, he felt her warmth again. She came closer and hugged him laying her head on his chest. Samuel didn\'t know what to do so he let it happen with both his arms stretched not making any movement.

He thought it was over when she crawled even closer, wrapping of of legs between hers. He could feel the heat directly on his bare thighs. She was naked from bottom down so what he was touching was left to his imagination.

" Bella? Bella?" he called out to her softly seeing if she was awake or asleep but got no response.

" Hmm..what is it?" Suddenly he saw her moving, at first he thought she would pull away but she got even closer. She was practically on top of him and he didn\'t understand why she was being so forward all of a sudden.

" This..."

" Oh, I like to hug things when I sleep without it I can\'t even catch a blink. I hope you can understand." She only lifted her head for a brief second looking at his face. With lights off, the room was dark one could still make out the shadows but there was no clear vision at least that\'s what she thought.

Samuel could see her deep blues eyes but what puzzled him was the smirk on her face. It\'s like she was doing it on purpose.

To confirm his suspicion he decided to play along and said," Same for me." He turned sideways and hugged her tightly.

Now her head was resting right between his chest along with her arms that she instinctively put over her chest to protect them from coming in contact with his abs. Samuel could feel her flinch for a moment which told him exactly what he needed to know. She was definitely faking it, the question was why?
