Chapter 28 I Love Democracy
"Lord creator?" Repeated, Daniel.
"Yes, you are the lord's creator. Our one true god." The priest still repeats the same notion when talking about Daniel.
Daniel went silent for a moment as he didn't know how to respond. When pondering about it from the perspective of these three, he is the Lord's creator as they say. Because from the basic lore to the lore of every card and every ability, he was the one who created them.
But the problem is that in this world, he was just a former ordinary person, not the god or something like the three say. Besides, he guessed that if some fanatic heard what these three called him, they might come at him to get his blood.
"Well, you shouldn't call me Lord Creator in the presence of a third party. It will bring me a lot of complications in this world." Daniel ordered.
"As you wish, my lord." The priest said while two others bowed, accepting the decree of their lord in unison.
"Do you have a name?" Daniel asks the priest who was the only unnamed creature amongst the cards he actualized.
The priest stops and thinks for a few seconds.
"No, My lord. Currently, I don't have a name, but somehow… I think I used to have one. A long time ago… I think."
"Used to have one? What do you mean?" Daniel inquired.
"I vaguely remember that. I used to have a name for other people to address me, my lord. But now I can't remember it… at all." The priest added "at all" at the end after trying to remember for a few seconds.
Daniel nodded in understanding, the unnamed creatures didn't have a name was something he had expected. But, the information that they have some vague recollection that they used to have a name was a surprise for him.
"Ok, Then from now on. Your name is Richard. As for the last name. Let's wait for a bit, ok?" Daniel smiles but the red-headed muscular man immediately raises his hand, waving it, trying to catch Daniel's attention.
"Mi lord! Mi Lord! I can't remember my name either! Give me a name! Give me…!" James excitedly said before a slap at the back of his head stopped his nonsense.
Slap!!
"Stupid dog! You dare lie to our lord!? Aren't you so proud of your name as James The Mad Dog before!?" Maria slapped James' head, scolding him like she was scolding a naughty Siberian Husky.
[Wait… was his personality like this?] Daniel felt a bit of uncertainty in himself regarding the lore he wrote long ago.
"Awww" James let out a small cry while stroking where he got hit.
The priest didn't care about the antics between the vampire and the lycan he gracefully bowed toward Daniel.
"It is a great honor. I'll cherish this name of mine, My lord." Richard said in reverence.
Daniel nodded, then took his smartphone out of his pocket and showed it to the three people in front of him.
"Do you know what this is?" Asked Daniel.
The three look at each other in confusion before James decides to answer.
"It's a smartphone, My lord."
"Correct, How do you know?" Daniel inquired, as he was sure that during the late middle age, he used as the background in the lore didn't have a smartphone.
"I don't know my lord, but I just know. I also know that that thing was called TV and that thing was an Air conditioner, but I'm sure this is the first time I saw them." James answered.
Daniel nodded in understanding before he conducted a small test session for the three people to see what they know and what they don't know.
The result was that all of the skills and basic knowledge one uses for living in the modern world including reading and speaking the language was known to the three people, but they are not considered to be experts.
For example, They know what a car is and how to take a bus but they don't know how a car was built.
While the knowledge from the field relates to their origins such as the knowledge required one to be a priest and orator Richard was considered a master in this field.
Maria was also an expert in terms of hacking, lockpicking, and anything that required one to be an infiltrator or spy. In the modern world. She knows it all.
As for James, he was considered an expert in beating people up and how to effectively knock someone out and he could choose whether to knock someone out painlessly or knock someone out painfully.
Daniel looked at the three of them and saw that their clothes were a little too old-fashioned to wear in everyday life.
"Your clothes are a little outdated, take that notebook over there and order some new clothes from the quick delivery service and have them shipped here. I'll pay for it." Said, Daniel.
The three were about to refuse but Maria knew that they can't blend in the crowd and would be stuck out like a sore thumb if they were to use their current outfit. So Maria stopped the two who were about to refuse and then went to choose some good cloth that would not embarrass their lord when they met with other people.

— Veneziale Estate - Conference Room —
While the three actualized people are choosing their new clothes and waiting for the special delivery service with the mindset of a wide-eyed happy shopper.
The Veneziale Family has a very serious meeting among the higher-ups.
Ardito who sat at the head of the long table as the Don of the family is staring deadly at three of his Capos amongst the group of all of his eight Capos.
"Carlo…" Ardito paused, staring at his Capo name Carlo while suppressing his anger.
"Repeat what you just suggested… This time… THINK…. CAREFULLY." Ardito asks Carlo with an unfeeling voice, making the latter shudder.
"D… Don… I… I suggest… We should not… Get on the bad side of the royal family." Carlo's shaking voice stopped but the silent anger in Ardito's eyes was still there.
Ardito's finger starts to slowly repeat knocking and the table as his patience begins to be worn down by his own Capo.
"That was understandable… but what comes after that… Could you please… say it? Mr. Carlo."
When Ardito becomes more formal and distant when addressing Carlo, the people in the room start to grow more and more uncomfortable. They feel harder and harder to breathe as time goes by.
"I said… we… we should… we should notify the royal family. About him… targeting… them…." Carlo finishes his sentence and fearfully looks at Ardito.
Ardito was still gazing at Carlo with unfeeling eyes but still didn't say or do anything to Carlo.
The Don then looked around the table and said out loud.
"Anyone who agrees with Carlo, raise their hand. Don't be shy, I love democracy." With a smile, Ardito changed his tone and encouraged anyone who agreed with the Capo to raise their hand.
Now, Other than Carlo and his two friends who raise their hands. There are two other Capos who raise their hand. Leaving only the two Capos who witnessed Daniel's power and another Capo still standing without doing anything.
The 3 underbosses who sat near Ardito and the Consigliere who stood behind them didn't even have any reaction regarding the question from the Don.
"Good…" Ardito threw a small key chain toward the Capos group that wanted to inform the royal family.
"You five go to the garage, get three Lamborghini, and share it between you guys. The meeting has ended, you guys can go first." Said, Ardito.
"Thank you, Don Ardito!" The Capos group immediately received the key chain and went out of the meeting room in glee.
At the front gate of the large garage within the Veneziale estate, a boring guard who sat at the guard post in front of the garage noticed five Capos happily walking toward him.
"Oh! Mr.Carlo, Why are you here? Didn't you have a meeting with the Don?" The guard remembers Carlo because he was the head of the royalist camp within the Veneziale estate.
"Oh! I came to get the Lamborghini, three Lamborghini in fact." Carlo said happily while showing off the key chain.
The guard's brow twitched a little when he saw the key chain but didn't say anything.
"Please let me check the key first. Mr. Carlo" The guard said, opened his hand, and asked for the key.
"Sure! Go ahead." Carlo replied and lightly tossed the key chain to the guard.
The guard received the key chain and went into the guard post while Carlo was still happily chatting with his cohort and laughing as they were still in a good mood.
Everything was nice and smooth, today was the happiest day in Carlo's life before he felt a sharp pain in his head and his consciousness faded as darkness claimed him.
"Eh?" One of Carlo's friends felt weird as Carlo suddenly fell down with a bloodied wound on his head.
Pft! Pft! Pft! Pft!
Four sounds of gas rang and more corpses lying on the ground as the guard walked toward them gun with a silencer in hand and double tapped on their head to make sure that they were forever staying down.
The guard returned to his guard post and picked up the walkie-talkie. Behind him a key chain dangling on the large metal safe box, within it there are guns of many sizes, but all of them have silencers attached.
"Everything is settled Mr. Veneziale, I'll inform the cleanup crew." The guard said respectfully toward the walkie-talkie.
In the meeting room, Ardito nodded in satisfaction and said out loud.
pαndα`noνɐ1--сoМ "Good work, don't forget to return the key to me." Said the Don.
"Yes, Mr.Veneziale."
After the guard ended the communication from his walkie-talkie. The people who are still remaining in the room felt chill to the bone.
"You said you love Democracy, Mr. Veneziale." The Consigliere who stood behind Ardito can't help but ask.
He was the newcomer who is the specialist in the matter related to the Curtained World that Ardito hired from the Syndicate Union after he got his ass handed by Daniel. So daring to ask this question after Ardito pulled such a stunt was normal.
"Of course, I love it. Mr. Luciano. Why not? Democracy made me aware of who is opposing me." Ardito brightly said then turned toward one of his underbosses.
